Had a few problems with an air conditioning repair issue. Was pleased the technician took the time and initiative to call and discuss in-depth. He offered several options to compensate for my inconvenience. Appreciate the exceptional customer service from Service City and their willingness to reach out.
I paid for their Club Membership and they cancelled my 1st appointment because they received alot of calls from people whose AC had gone out. At the appointment for a "tune up" the tech spent more time writing the "report" then he did tuning up the units. Of course he recommended we replace both units. He suggested I schedule an appt with the sales mgr because he couldn't provide an estimate for replacing units. Feels like they more interested in selling new units than servicing existing units. I will definitely be getting a 2nd opinion.
Our A/C went down while we were on vacation, so we needed it fixed ASAP. Service City was able to come out right away and Cedric did a great job fixing it quickly and explaining the issues. He is a great technician and I highly recommend him for all HVAC repairs!
Casey and Steve came to service/repair my ceiling fan and they were excellent. They were very professional, prompt and courteous. They took care of my ceiling fan problem and I can say that I would highly recommend Casey, Steve and Service City Electric for future work.
I was quoted a fixed price to install two 3-way switches. It seemed a bit expense but I went for it. Turns out, it was a bargain. It was rewiring a 30 year old switch.
The wiring was non-standard.
The instructions on how to install the new "smart" switches were not totally correct (as he discovered after calling the 800 help number)
Mike was tenacious. Kept working (for hours) until all was correct!
We had Service City Electric install new Exit signs, replaced several ballasts and repaired security lights outside. Electrician Everett was fast with installation and he also took the time to explain how to maintain them. I'm really impressed with how professional Service City technicians are as well as their office staff. Thank you Service City Electric!
I believe service city did a great job in repairing my air when both units went out. They came out and tried to service a mess which a previous repair group attempted; however a temp fix or attempt to fix could not guarantee resolve and although a possible control board replacement on both units could have resolved. It would have prolonged the inevitable. Cedric provided and insight into replacing the whole system both upstairs and downstairs and work with me to get air back to a heat wiery family. Gus and Daniel worked tirelessly to replace the unil ensure my to smart thermostats were up and running and both heat and cool were working.

From the receptionist to the technician, every one was very professional and conscientious. They found the problem, the job was done quickly and they cleaned up and left. They will definitely be recommended by me to anyone that needs electrical work. Thanks Service City.
Just like another review on here I have contacted Service City MULTIPLE times to get to get an itemized breakdown of a proposal they gave me. The price on the proposal was about 4 times higher than any other company will charge for the same service (2 zone board replacement). All the proposal said was "2 zone board" then a ridiculous sum of money next to it. Its clear t me that they don't want me to know what they would be charging me for.
This company, in one breath, told be that my warranty that I purchased with my system two years ago was no longer valid and they would not horror it, then in the next breath offered me a "Friends an Family" package that listed a warranty on it.
If you were born last night this is the company for you!
The gentlemen who came to our house today for a quote on ac unit were thorough with their diagnosis and did not try to sell us something we didnt need, they assessed our homes needs and prices accordingly, we went through 5 different company's before them and none were as knowledgeable about what was needed and only had 1 thing to get a sale. So I give these 2 guys John and Cedric 5 stars they also explained everything in simple terms for the wife to understand,. I did purchase a system from them, I will update when unit is installed.
