Coastal Hankla A/C & Heat

What a relief to finally find an AC company we can trust after being mislead and "upsold" by others in the past! Will is a person of integrity, and we trust what he says. The last time that we called his company, he personally came out and nursed our unit back to life -- giving of his own time at the end of a busy day. So my husband and I recommend him and his company to anyone we know. If you want an AC company who will be honest with you about your needs and who is not in the market to sell you a new system, the Coastal Hankla is for you!

Where do I start? When i had AC problems Coastal Hankla was one of the first I called. I am now an American Home Shield customer. So, you know what that means you have a problem you call them first. Well under this pandemic and this heat they have been slammed. They gave me the authorization to call someone to repair my AC. Who do I call, I call Coastal. Let me start off by talking about Joy. She was very helpful, caring and very knowledgeable. Then when the tech arrived he was very professional and concerned about my AC. So, now I had to deal with American Home Shield. I was on the phone for 2 hours trying to get resolution. Danny the supervisor could not get a hold of AHS, so what i did when i got off of work at 5:30, I called AHS and was on hold for an hour, yes an hour. Danny held my hand until I finally got authorization to get my AC fixed. Thank you Jesus for Coastal AC not only for there time and effort but for the concern. I highly recommend this company and they will forever be my go to AC folks.. I'm a happy camper.

When I bought my home in the Heights 7 years ago, I replaced the original A/C system with a new Trane unit which I wanted relocated to the side of the house instead of the back. Will did the necessary homework and worked with city officials to obtain the required permitting.

Six years later, I decided to replace both the upstairs and garage apartment A/C units. The garage apartment was a major challenge because the existing unit had been installed before sheetrock and trim finishes were installed. Once again, Will went to work and was able to come up with a great plan that was minimally-invasive to both the apartment itself as well as the tenant.

His estimates for all three of the installations went exactly as he had predicted in all cases so there were no surprises for either cost or completion time.

I would highly recommend Coastal Hankla for anyone's A/C or heating needs.

Amazing service. Friday 4pm, 3 day weekend, coldest forecast in 20 years, and my 25 year old furnace quits. Coastal Hankla A/C makes it out and gets me going in no time. Did not have the exact part but got it up and running. Then Sunday morning the owner calls to tell me they are coming by with the exact part. Hard to believe this kind of service still happens but it does!

Recently we contacted Mr. Hankla after a competitor installed new ducts and a new A/C System to service an upstairs addition. The new system did not distribute air equally between the rooms upstairs.
