I have had my unit for under a year and it just went out. Called to get a service call because it is under warranty. Danny “the only Danny” asked if this was under warranty and I said it was. Since it is under warranty he said he would be out tomorrow afternoon instead of doing an emergency repair. He then got frustrated with me because I told him that was unacceptable and be hung up on me.

I have a 7 and 2 year old in this house with no A/C. I will now have to call another company to get this fixed and pay them even though this is supposed to be under warranty. I paid for this warranty and the fact that they are not honoring it is criminal.

Update: Had another company just come out. Fixed the issue in under 30 minutes. Happily paid $130 for an “emergency” repair. Guy was nice and helpful.

After reading all the great reviews, I called to get a bid for a replacement unit. They did get a gentleman out very quickly. When he arrived he quoted me 2 really high prices. I let him know that I am getting several bids. He then told me that he would go talk to his boss and "see" what he could do price wise. This was yesterday. As of today I never received a call or him returning with a new bid. Not exactly the best customer service. I give 2 stars because of the quickness of getting someone out quick, but the service after and the high price, I can say I will not be using them.

We have had more than our fair share of AC problems since moving into our home. We are currently on our third A Coil, and had issues with some of the other installers out there.

The last system was totally replaced three years ago, and has been leaking apparently since new. I called 1604, explained my problem to Michelle, and had a guy sent out to meet me after work. He opened up the system, identified the leak, took all the information from the defective unit. The next morning, the owner arrived, cut out the bad unit, took it to the distributor and got it swapped out at no cost for the replacement unit.

He installed it in a couple of hours, and the house has never felt so good as it does right now.

They have done a great job, and we will continue to use 1604 Air Conditioning and Heating, great job!

We had 1604 Air Conditioning & Heating at the house for a regular service call December 2'20. Craig Taylor arrived around 9 am and was by far the friendliest person anyone could be. We have the humongous house size 16x20x4 filter. I believed it may have needed to be changed. He showed me the trick of holding it up to the light. If light shines through, it is alright. As Dave Ramsey says, Craig has the heart of a teacher! We talked about tools, old Volkswagen beetles and much more during his 20 minutes at my house. While in the attic, Craig offered to pass down the Christmas decorations. I even know his best friend is a paramedic with the last name Taylor. Us Taylor's can be some pretty cool guys. I couldn't recommend a friendlier team to maintain my AC/Furnace.

Very professional. Walked me through the entire process, was out the next day on time and had my new HVAC system installed and working perfectly. Showed me step by step on how to work the new digital thermostat. They even completed all paperwork and took pictures for warranties and rebates with CPS. 1604 made the whole process 100% stress free. I highly recommend them.

I had an excellent experience with 1604 Air Conditioning and Heating. All of my concerns were addressed promptly and all of the employees were very punctual. My new heat pump was installed on a rainy, muddy day and Johnny and Robert installed all of the indoor components without leaving one speck of dirt in my house. Gerald made sure all of my questions were answered and coordinated all work efficiently. I am confident that my new equipment has been installed correctly and will serve me well. I had a problem with my AC today and Angel arrived to trouble shoot the problem. He checked my unit from the attic to the outdoor unit and we could not replicate the sound I was concerned about, but he showed me several things to look out for and was very professional and informative.
It is not often that you get someone who delivers this level of customer service these days, so I wanted to share this positive experience and thank 1604 Air conditioning and heat for this excellent level of service!

When my air conditioner went out, I called 1604 Air Conditioning and immediately was impressed with their customer service. I called after hours and they scheduled me for an emergency repair for 9am the next morning. They showed up right on time, troubleshot the issue in minutes and had me going in under 30 minutes. They even had the part I needed in the truck when they arrived. They are honest and friendly professionals. Bravo!

1604 ac was quick to respond. Had my old unit running enough for the day. Had new one installed the next morning. Taylor's were super nice. Was glad to finally see what the hype was about. They delivered.

The AC works well, when it runs. Apparently everything in their company is shut down due to the virus, according to whoever I talked to on the phone. I have asthma. I was promised filter replacement. Nothing. My unit shuts off every night. I wake up every morning in a sweat. The woman I talked to said it does that because it thinks I left the house. Fiddlesticks. I see see service trucks from other companies everywhere. Other places are still servicing customers. We know the virus is a consideration. But I want, need and deserve service. I want someone out here to replace my filter and fix my thermostat.
