Love Northern Tool -- Have shopped both instore and online (with store pickup) and every experience is great. The staff are very sincere and knowledgeable about their products. They have fantastic customer service skills!!! A+ Northern Tool!

Store is well kept. One of the sales guys spent an absurd amount of time helping me while I was being stubborn about replacing my odd-sized wheel bearings for my boat trailer. I don't remember the details but I ended up with exactly what I needed, last minute before a road trip.

While I like some items Northern Tool carries, much of the items at this store are not much better than another importer store across the country. This location could have been a super sized store carrying many more items that they offer online and in catalog. Unfortunately it is disappointing as they carry less than the Lewisville store making selection of items difficult.
You know I gave them 3 stars previously, but now I am mad. I placed an online order for store pickup. The store claims they sold the product before they got the pick ticket. So canceled my entire order. They claimed they sold 17 KingChain 5/16in. x 14ft. Grade 70 chains in that time. I doubt that very much. Their store shelves have been out of stock for weeks and I am betting their inventory numbers are out of whack. I also ordered online because stores don't honor Advantage Member prices or discounts.
Called 800 number. Told me the order is canceled so I can re-order again, but it may be 2-3 days or weeks before I get refund from first order. It is instant to take my money but not refund. So I would have to pay twice for same product and eventually get a refund. No thanks! Oh and the $20 off coupon is now invalid too, because it has been used.

Alex the store manager was amazing! He provided customer support for a item that was purchased back in April of this year. Helped me hunt down a original purchase receipt and as well a receipt for another transaction at another Northern Tool location. Thank you for all of the help Alex, if only more companies were able to find leaders like yourself customer service would not be a lost art.

Placed an order online last night... usually do shipping but since it gave the option to pick up in store... and could obviously get it quicker I went ahead with in store pick up... Drove 45 mjnutes only to get to the store to find out it has been canceled because they "could not" find the product I had ordered.... The old lady at counter was super rude... No apologies or anything!!! Very disappointing for my first in store pick up experience!!! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IN STORE PICKUP!!

If I could give 5++++ stars I would. The assistant store manager, Jim, is phenomenal!!! He always goes above and beyond to help us when we shop there. Because of Jim we spend quite a bit of money there. His customer service makes us not even shop around. Thanks Jim.
