This is definitely a great place to do business with if there's AC parts that you need this is the place for you only downfall they only will sell to contractors but I decided to not take away points because that is their policy however customer service that you will receive here was phenomenal I had the privilege of working with Matthew who helped me take care of all of the parts that I needed and I also had the privilege of working with a gentleman by the name of Ruben to discuss warranties that my previous system may still be under. If you're putting in an AC I would strongly recommend a Goodman. With Goodman ACS you're not just buying a name brand you are purchasing a product that accompany will stand behind when stuff goes wrong. They will help you solve your problems and look in the options I strongly recommend this company.

I purchased a brand new custom built home Rockport, TX in 2014. The builder installed a Goodman AC and failed to tell me about registering to get the 10 year warranty. Just before the 5 year default warranty ran out the inside unit coil started to leak. Goodman has refused to honor the 5 year warranty to replace the coil because they are going by the manufacturer date which was in 2013. They refuse to accept my closing settlement statement as prove of the new home purchase date. Unless you register they don't even honor the true 5 year warranty. I have never dealt with such terrible customer service! AC service man that found the leak told me Goodman ACs were complete junk and that I would save money in the long run by replacing the complete system.

This posting is more in reference to Mr Robert McReynolds and I hope he views this posting. I'm sorry for your bad experience, but in reality this falls more under the General Contractor and HVAC company that installed it, and failing to advise you on the registration of the equipment. Without that, the supply house has to go with the serial number, or the original HVAC contractor would have been able to show proof of purchase. As for the service ac tech stating the equipment being junk, same on him. He is making more money by telling you that and selling you a whole new system. He is taking advantage of your emotional state, and attempting to profit from it. All manufactures have had their coil issues, even Trane, Carrier, Rudd, York, Lennox, and etc. I have installed all of them, and the one who has given me the least amount of trouble when it come to warranty, has always been Goodman. The same compressor in a Trane is the same one in a Goodman. 90% of premature failures is the guy who installed it. Also all builders use the cheapest of the cheapest sub contractors to do the work. I've seen beautiful customs homes on the outside, but terribly built in the inside.

Homer, Martin and Ruben all do a great job in helping out on the counter very knowledgeable and willing to help, they need help answering the phone calls just to overwhelming for them.

Stay as far away from this place as possible. We spend hours on hold with this place every year. That's if your lucky enough for them to answer and put you on hold. When you arrive to the store expect to spend no less than hour for a simple part. They are the cheapest for a reason....

I waited a hour and a half on the phone until they closed with no answer. This is the worse customer phone service , under staff not meeting the supply and demand frequently as described, poor management turn around and sales are distributed under your license sold to the general public through there front desk counter. The worse I have seen in the industry alone.
