We had used their service along with lots of family members and friends until just recently. I had them troubleshoot my a/c which they said needed replacing. I had the unit replaced at a much cheaper rate than they offered through a family friend because that was all I could afford at the time. Fast forward to today and we are still having issues so I called to try and schedule a service call, fully planning to let them fix whatever was wrong and I was REFUSED due to my having let someone else fix the last problem. Cosmic informed me that they wouldn't come troubleshoot for me, fearing I'd just let someone else fix the problem again. I was blown away, I've literally never been treated that way as a customer before. They've lost our business permanently, the business of my friends, family and anyone else I can tell about this nonsense. Ridiculous.
Update: Cosmic decided, 2.5 months later, to reply to my review of their service on their Facebook page. Their comment is as follows -
Cosmic Air Conditioning & Heating: Mrs. Radney, I am very sorry you feel this way. Please put yourself in our shoes for a minute. We came out and discovered your unit in need of replacement therefore we quoted to replace it. You had someone else install a new unit for you at a cheaper price. Going with the cheapest price is usually not in your best interest. You would in most cases be sacrificing experience & know how, equipment quality, and/or you'll end up with an installer who doesn't care if the unit is installed correctly and who only cares about getting your money and getting out the door. After the installer leaves you notice you have problems and try to call them back only to find that they don't return your calls or refuse to come back. Therefore you call us back to diagnose the problems they left or couldn't figure our. Our concern now is that we will diagnose the problem and you will call "the other guy" back to perform the repairs that we suggest. That is not in our company's best interest, therefore we have decided not to continue servicing your equipment.
My reply: I'm sorry too, but your position makes very little business sense. When I called you out to troubleshoot my problem, I had no idea the problem would be that an entirely new unit was needed. I paid almost 300 dollars for the inspection and a freon charge up so it's not like you got no business from me. You quoted a price on the new unit. Now regardless of your OPINION of what was in my best interest, I sought other quotes for what, for anyone, would be a very large expense for our family. This is what anyone's business should expect from their customers. I was under no contract or obligation to buy a unit from you, we had completed our business. Later on, I suspected we might need some attic insulation and possibly some ducts which I contacted you about, and you're familiar with the response I was met with. You were paid for our business before and would have been paid again for your services had you been willing to send someone out, but what I was (essentially) told is that, because I refused to buy an a/c unit from you, I would never be serviced by your company again. Now, you have divested yourself of the good opinion and business of my entire family (who used your services for years and regularly referred people to you) and everyone else I tell about your shenanigans, for the price of 1 a/c unit. I hope the subsequent loss of business was worth it to you.
I highly recommend this company for all your AC needs. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable. Their work is guaranteed and reasonable. We have been using them for 20 years.

Cosmic replaced drain pan added a P trap and drain sensors. Next day an issue occurred but Cosmic returned and fixed the issue without a problem. Thanks guys.
Called Arron with a problem with our heating at the office. He was out within a couple of hours, he found and fixed the problem quickly. Reasonable charge. Will definitely use again.
