I can’t give this company enough praise for their work ethic and customer service. They answered my request for ac help super fast. The tech only fixed what he needed to and they even came back out and fixed a bad breaker that was flipping off our ac. I will recommend them to everyone. They are local here in Buda and you can sure tell!

This family run business is awesome! I needed a pan replaced and a general check done. They were right on time, checked the unit and showed me where I was having problems. (My previous AC guys did a sloppy job and it was obvious.) Matt checked around to ensure he could get me the new parts I needed today (since Good Friday is a holiday and some places may be closed) he wasn't sure if he could get the work done today since it was more than originally anticipated but he did!!! His mom called to make sure I was well informed on the schedule, once his previous calls were complete he came here and resealed my unit changed my pan and serviced my compressor. I was quoted insane amounts from other companies (triple what I paid Chuck's AC) and I am so thankful I spoke with them because they didn't inflate the price or try to scare me into buying more than I needed. I can't recommend this business enough, excellent customer service, honest advice and a reasonable price if you're looking for a solid family business who knows what they're doing these are the guys to call.

We were working on remodeling our Austin condo without power during the recent cold weather. We wore head lamps to paint and do everything that did not require power. A few days later the power came back on but our heater did not. That was a really cold Sunday. I tried contacting about 6 companies. They all said they were all booked and could not come until the following week. Then I called Chuck's Air Conditioning. They were so friendly and could tell I was desperate to get heat to my unit. They mentioned they were very busy but would see what they could do and call me back. Shortly thereafter, they returned my call telling me someone could come to my condo within an hour. The owner's son, Matthew, came in less than an hour. Matthew was the most knowledgeable, honest, professional and friendly service person I have ever had the pleasure working with. I highly recommend Chuck's Air Conditioning to anyone looking for superior service!

Awesome company, highly recommended! Our AC went out, and in the Texas heat that is the worst possible thing.Chuck was able to get over to us same day and take care of the repair. The repair ended up being less than we initially discussed on the phone and we couldn't be happier. Crisis averted!

Chuck's AC was able to help us quickly when our AC wasn't working correctly, giving us the option of same day or next day service. Matthew provided excellent communication throughout the service and was able to quickly find the source of the issue. Very affordable pricing as well. We will absolutely reach out to Check's the next time our AC takes a giant, steamy dump when it's 103 degrees out.

Can't say enough good about this owner/company. Had a problem with our unit this past weekend, called one of the big companies. Their technician quoted an outrageous amount $3500 to fix the problem, then suggested we consult their sales team for a quote to replace our entire system to the tune of $18,190 on their Advantage Plan with a payout of 9 years! Didn't even leave us any paperwork, except a paper with payments of $189 per month! When I contacted the salesperson, he said he emailed us the contract! So we cancelled the agreement!
After seeing recommendations for Chucks A/C on Nextdoor I called and had a nice conversation with Chuck, explained what our unit was doing. He scheduled a repairman for after hours for today! Then 30 minutes later, I get a phone call and he was on the way over himself to take a look at our unit! Turns out the drain line was clogged! Don't need a new unit or even an expensive repair! Didn't even charge us! Thankfully there are still reputable businesses in Austin Texas!

Chuck’s AC has been my “go to” service for several years now. Locally owned and operated in Buda, Matt has been prompt, honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and only does the repairs you actually NEED done. I highly recommend this company.

I had just returned from vacation to a broken AC on a Saturday afternoon in July in Austin, Texas. I promptly called Chuck's AC who made time that same afternoon to come check out my problem. They fixed it the same day and they fixed it right! I was very impressed with their knowledge and prompt service. These guys rock and they definitely know what they are doing. They are honest, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about Chuck's AC. First I LOVE to support small business because I myself have a small business!! I had been to 2 other bigger named AC repair places before calling Chuck. 1 of the places I had been dispatched to my house was through my home warranty company. DO NOT EVER BUY A HOME WARRANTY. The company they dispatched were horrible and they wouldn't get me a new company. It took over a month of back and forth, talking to warranty and other AC company to find several leaks in my AC. Long story short, I decided since I was getting no were with my warranty and the other AC company, I would find my own repair company and pay out of pocket. I had been without AC for over a month!! Not good going into an Austin summer. First I called the first company listed on Google search, they came out and the repair person tried to make me pay $1400 for a nitrogen leak test!! I was horrified and he left. Then I called Chuck's AC and talked to Eunice who was so nice and honest. I trusted and respected her instantly. When she told me it was a family owned business I instantly wanted to work with them. We scheduled the repair. It was such a surprise and relief to know that the repair man was their SON!! love it. He was amazing!! I told him where the leak was suppose to be. He as well said he may have to do a nitrogen leak test which would be an addtional charge. I asked how much. He made a call then said $125. I was in shock and said YES!! LOL WOW!! such a difference. This is a long story but I'll try to keep it short. During this process of pulling up the wood box casing that housed my copper AC pipes we found a dead possum and then a LIVE possum!! Together we were able to get the possum out not harmed so the work could begin. LOL. He found several leaks in one area of the copper pipping. He replaced and repaired it. It only cost me $1800!! I was in shock and so relieved I hired the right company. I was so nervous this job was going to be $5-10k. Which I could not afford especially after my own small business had been suffering from the pandemic. I was just starting to see the light at then end of the tunnel. Then my AC broke. I hope the Possum found a new comfy home. I closed up the hole where he came in pretty good. I will now only hire Chuck's for all my AC repairs and maintence!! I have two units and they are very old. I trust them completely!!

Chuck stayed in the phone and talked us through the issue without charging us! Simply amazing. Have used them for years and always thrilled with the service!
