When my AC went out, one of my neighbors recommended The Coolest and I’m glad I asked her. Dagan came out within hours of my call, and quickly identified the issue as the capacitor. He was kind, clear, & straightforward. It’s already replaced and cooling down, which is such a relief! Would definitely call again if anything else goes wrong.

Travis and Kaleb have been great. When A/c goes down in Austin, it can be daunting. These guys answer the phone, come out on time, fix the problem and guarantee the work. We have had a few issues because we updated our thermostat with our security system and they have been quick to assist. I highly recommend them! It so rare to have such a pleasant experience with in home service since Covid. These guys are awesome

Great service from Travis and the office team. They were able to come out the day that I called, which is much needed during Austin summers. Travis was very informative and fair. He then responded to a separate issue a week or so later, within an hour. Awesome experience, thank you for your great work!!!

I called The Coolest last Friday (one week ago) with an issue of my AC unit tripping my breaker. They came out same day, very prompt and professional and incredibly knowledgeable. The ultimate result is that my unit needed to be replaced (due to a refrigerant leak in multiple places, using a really expensive refrigerant that isn’t used anymore and my unit being 20 years old). Mark H. was so thorough in explaining the why and how and his recommendations. He was absolutely wonderful. Then working with Mark (the owner) to go over pricing and schedule was incredibly easy, again very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to replace the next week, which blew my mind at how quick they were able to get back to me. Reese and Curtis (there was a 3rd and I missed his name!) were here promptly at 9am on the scheduled day. Very easy to work with in figuring out best solution for roof access. Only took a few hours and they were done. Hands down the best HVAC company I’ve ever worked with. I will choose them every time!

The Coolest was an amazing company to work with. Fast response, fair pricing, and most impressively not afraid to take on a challenging job (like a 70 yr old house with zero existing hvac) So happy I hired this team. Positive energy from start to finish. The crew was friendly, left no foot print after they finished. Would hire them again, but I don’t need to!!!

Working with The Coolest was a great experience all around. My AC stopped cooling over the weekend (in the middle of August, woof), so I called The Coolest on Monday morning at the recommendation of a co-worker, and they came out the same day. They found the problem right away and talked me through the available options and associated costs. Everything made sense and costs were very reasonable. They even double checked to see if my unit was still under warranty (of course it was a year past). If you've been digging through reviews for a good HVAC company, save yourself some time and just call the guys at The Coolest.

We worked with Kurtis and Caleb who installed a new A/C and furnace. They were great: they arrived on time, explained what they were going to do. The installation was very fast. Really top-notch in all aspects. I would absolutely recommend.

I contacted 9 HVAC companies in Austin for a complete replacement of my residential system. I received bids from 7.5k to 15k for the same type of system. How can the same system cost twice as much. The answer is overhead. Incredible. The Coolest LLC not only beat the best prices out there, they provided a no-nonsense interaction in which they did not try to price haggle or up-sell me on anything. I knew what I needed and they provided the most competitive price for a "brand name" (Bryant) system. They have a 10 year warranty on the system parts and a 2 year warranty to back up their work. When you call their phone number listed you get Mark #1, a real person in Austin who directed me to Mark #2 which is the owner and person who gave me the no-nonsense bid. There was no directory chain....call the number and get reception who forwards you to sales. Sales associate then wants to set up a time for a technician to visit the house. Then the tech doesn't know how much a system costs so they want to set up another time for a call to get the bid....blah blah blah. That is where the extra cost comes from....overhead to pay extra employees to give you the run around.

The installation was a breeze. The tech arrived 15 minutes earlier than the time allotted and was professional throughout. He was very clean and left my house in the same condition as he found it. After the installation I noticed that one of the thermostats was not kicking on the condenser so I reached out to Mark #1 and within hours had another tech to my place. Turned out to be a wire that did not have great connection. Great customer service.

They also participate in the Austin Energy rebate program and handled all of the necessary registration forms. They do the work, you get the rebate check in the mail.

The Coolest LLC is a local (true local) small business that is truly exceptional. I have and will continue to refer friends and family their way for any HVAC needs.

Marvelous Mark and Coolest Services were wonderful from start to finish. We’ve actually trusted them to service our A/C needs for the last two years. Each time was top notch. Mark was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, had a kind demeanor and didn’t try to over diagnosis our issues or upsell me at all. An insignificant detail but definitely went noticed, without my prompting, he considerately removed his shoes at the door seeing that was our family practice at home. I have Coolest Services saved to my phone and will continue to use and recommend them in the future if needed.

The Coolest Team has been with my whole homeowner experience. They fixed my old unit giving it at least 3 years and extending it well past it's life expectancy. Now it's time.
