DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! $500 for one hour of labor and $30 worth of parts to fix a toilet. Stay away from these people. They are the most over priced company in this industry that I have seen in this area. If you sort reviews by “lowest” you will see a very similar post by A Bennett from a few months ago . Wish I had read it in advance. The company replied as if it was some sort of misunderstanding. It isn’t a misunderstanding. STAY AWAY from calling this company.

Where do I start with this review? Once again, Pipe Wrench is second to none. Dan and the other gentleman came out to replace duct work in my house. As expected, the professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. If you need anything done, and Pipe Wrench advertises they do it, CALL THEM, no need to look elsewhere. Again, VERY pleased.

Josh is a star! He is knowledgeable and you can tell he wants to do right by you and your house. I would highly recommend.

Matt was very nice, friendly and professional. He found my leak problem and worked up a proposal plan. He also informed me of other services that Pipe Wrench does, especially with servicing my heat pump. It’s very convenient to have all these services with one business that you truly trust. They were highly recommended by several of my friends. Thank you!!!

This company has been super helpful. I purchased a new water heater from them and while I have needed a few repairs they came out right away and everything was under warranty. The employees have been very nice and professional and the latest gentleman helped me move a washer and dryer out to my garage with his dolly. Which was completely unrelated to him being there. Great crew! Great company.

Sam did a great job on my toilet install and found that I also needed a new flange in the process as the old one was cracked. Sam brought his 15 years of experience and knowledge and was very informative of the job. I was thoroughly impressed with Sam and the company for their honestly and transparency throughout.

Had them out a year ago to check my heat pump and why I wasn’t getting any heat in lower zone with upper zone being much hotter than thermostat setting. Tech was on location for just under four hours and after checking system & thermostat couldn’t find anything wrong. Felt that could be a damper issue not opening and removed a small section of insulation from around top of flexible insulated duct ,adjacent to motorized actuator at a cost of $460. Had them back out today after having to tap on top of actuator 3 times in past two weeks to get damper to open so heat could flow downstairs. They covered service call as warranty which I appreciated being five days past warranty period. Tech rechecked system and found no issues and based on my having to fist tap the top of actuator to open, recommended replacing either motor or entire damper unit. I advised I’d perform work (as it’s a simple repair if you are comfortable with doing duct work and at at third the cost) but requested him to disassemble duct work and inspect damper to verify duck wasn’t crimped or damper impaired by any debris, before investing in a replacement unit. Tech advised he had to check with manager first as it was additional labor cost, which I had previously paid for to inspect a year ago. Tech contacted his Manager “ Chris”, who advised him, they would not perform without additional charge. My issue is that during initial inspections year prior, tech should have recommended that damper unit be replaced, which tech today agreed should have been the course, as the previous 3.5 hours of time spent at a cost of $460 which didn’t resolve issue, could have offset the additional $668 I was quoted today for damper replacement. After tech left and gave me info, a call was made main contact with request to speak with manager “ Chris” and was advised he wasn’t answering but would likely call back by Monday. We’ll see where it goes as I’m expecting nothing but getting more of the “ company line.@ The very least, manager should of authorized his tech to perform and additional .5 hr of labor to verify if it was in fact an obstruction inside damper or metal housing around same , that initial tech may have missed, at no additional charge. Very disappointing for what was termed a “warranty call” and for a company which prides itself on customer service and putting smiles on your face when they answer your call, which in this overall experience has resolved nothing other than my checking account being $460 lighter and likely having to replace unit on my own at a fraction of cost. I’ll repost update in fairness to company if they resolve with additional inspection of damper @ no cost from inside and not just looking from outside of insulation sleeve. 2/8: It’s been over two weeks since a request was made to have field tech manager “ chris” call me and to date, no calls from anyone associated with this company. Buyer and prospective clients beware! *Update: 4/10/23. Was contacted by new manager, Michael, after filing a complaint with the BBB. He apologized for any previous actions/inactions and did refund my cost purchase for a new motorized damper unit. If only the previous manager had done so, this original post and having to get the BBB involved, would have been non existent and credit to him for doing the right thing.

The Technician was very nice and professional but $430 to clear a drain and there is no guarantee it worked, he "thinks" he got it. I guess it would be another $430 or more if he didn't get it after all and I had to call them back. Way too expensive. This was not an emergency call either. I was assured they are competitive then later that day I had a guy from another company come do AC service. He was shocked at that price for that service. He said we have a plumbing division and it wouldn't and that seems way too high. I would have been better off going to Lowe's and getting my own auger.

In response; Yes I did accept it. When I was told the price I said holly hell but due to schedule limitations I have I had no choice if I wanted it done now. He also assured me that was competitive but I think that was just sales talk now. It would have been another 2 weeks at least if I would have refused. The job took 10 minutes and he stayed another 10 to let the washer drain once. It was a reccuring issue and was currently draining when he arrived. We have been able to get it temporarily draining with drain cleaner when it clogged but that was only temporary as it came back several times hence the plummer. The part that really gets me besides the exorbitant price for the service preformed is that it was an attempt to clear it and he "thinks" he go it. I guess the price is due to the bigger staff and the advertising budget. Probably a franchise fee too. The other company did not bad mouth you lol. He just commented on how pricey that was for a simple drain clearing that may not have even worked. Time will tell on that.

Our HVAC technician, David, was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He completed our HVAC maintenance for the spring season in a timely manner and gave a few helpful tips on the best filters for us to purchase and etc.

Our drain technician, Nick, was also extremely kind, prompt, and knowledgeable. He made us aware of a couple things that might need to be addressed (that we already knew about and want to handle ourselves at this time) and wasn't pushy about us making a decision to not move forward with Pipe Wrench for these services at this time.

The reason we keep calling and referring Pipe Wrench is become their staff is always top notch. They certainly aren't the cheapest option but they are always professional, will show up when they say they will show up, and their staff is always courteous. Thanks for always being a 5 star company and taking care of our plumbing and HVAC needs!

Justin was great. He was nice, helpful, and explained everything very well. All the work we had done is exceptional, and I appreciate the personalities of all the guys Pipe Wrench sent to our house.
