This family owned business has always been our first choice for all of our AC/heating needs. Juan prompt, courteous, helpful, and thorough. He answered my questions and explained in ‘this human has no freaking idea how the whole AC thing works’ terms - and I have to say, I truly appreciate that!! Juan is an asset. Thank you! I've had bad experiences with other companies and their HVAC maintenance plans (like having to chase them down for the agreed upon service). Not with A-1 certified. They called to remind me that I was due and to schedule my apt! Ash was our tech and she was early, professional, and extremely friendly. Highly recommended!!

Everyone that I worked with at A-1 was excellent. Michele consulted with me about different options to address the issue that I was having with my existing HVAC system. She was very patient and knowledgeable. Josh and Tommy did a great job with the installation. I am very satisfied with the experience and look forward to a more comfortable house.

Jason & Jonah replaced 2 breakers on my HVAC system today. They announced their impending arrival, kept me informed about what they were doing, & answered all my questions thoroughly. They even showed me a good breaker alongside my nonfunctioning one so I would understand how it worked.
They were VERY PERSONABLE, very respectful., & they could not have been nicer.

For a few years I have relied on A-1 Certified for the usual service calls needed to maintain and sometime repair my heating/cooling system at my home. During the various service calls the consistency of the company's performance has never been a disappointment. Appointments are easy to make and their manpower pool enables A-1 to have a tech on site in a reasonable time. Josh responded to today's call. He was very quick to trouble shoot and fix the problem. His experience and knowledge was very apparent.

Our salesman, Charlie, was very efficient and knowledgeable and extremely patient with all of our questions, which we pestered him with for almost a week. We'd never heard of Daikin products before getting estimates, but the Daikin Corp is very selective about who they work with and A-1 is one of only two companies they selected in our area.
The installers, Brad and Jimmy, had to replace and install furnaces, evaporator coils, and condensers upstairs and down, in the worst heat of the summer, as well as to fix some shortcuts they found in our duct-work and fix one of the exhaust tubes that wasn't to code. They were efficient, polite, and careful with our home. They also managed to take the time to explain to us what they were doing at each step where we inquired. They even found a shortcut that might have contributed to our old system dying earlier than expected.
We have two very protective German Shepherds who I couldn't bear to lock up for the three days of work and the guys were super patient with me about it, even trying to make friends with my dogs to keep them from erupting into barking fits every time they saw them again.
A-1 was not our cheapest estimate, but other A/C reviews say that a good system cannot function with a bad installation. Charlie worked with our budget to get us all the machine we could afford, and I am confident that we got a fantastic installation. I could not be happier with the whole process.
--- March 8, 2019, Ryan came out to swap the filters on our whole-house water filter system. He was very familiar with the process. They knew to check the o-rings and clean the insides before putting the new filters in. No cut corners here! It was money well-spent and I know it was done right. Very happy with their plumbing work, too!
- May 13, 2019, Matt & Josh figured out the problem really quickly and solved it easily. They gave me information about new filters, and even took it in stride when my big dog came to "say hi". A-1 continues to stay my go-to HVAC saviors!
April 27, 2022, Juan did a great job servicing the system and was quick and respectful of the house. He explained my pricing options. Couldn't ask for better!

My first experience was a great customer experience. My system is a newer electric and gas dual zoned system that was not operating efficiently so I called the manufacturer and distributor to locate a service company that was knowledgeable with my system type. I was referred to A-1 Certified Service and what a blessing.

Josh and Matt arrived on time, listened to my concerns and were extremely knowledgeable with my system type, which is exactly what I was looking for. They were both professional, thorough and really cared. They also offered some suggestions to enhance the system efficiency and introduced me to their “Planned Maintenance Club” which is a proactive preventative plan that helps maintain and protect the system for optimal operation.

My experience with Josh, Matt and A-1 Certified deserves 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’m so glad I found these guys as my new service provider!

Michele and her team at A-1 are fantastic. She worked closely with us to find the right Daikin heat pump system for our house at a price that worked for our budget. The team that came out to install it was friendly, professional and thorough. We love our new system--our house has never been more comfortable. We highly recommend A-1!
