I have always been very pleased with the services from A-1 Certified. I was particularly pleased this morning when I called and was able to get scheduled for mid-morning. Even more pleased when Marcus called to ask if he could come early. He was, as he has always been, courteous and took the time to explain the problem and the repair.

These folks are great! They installed a great system for my dad, Mike Balka and when issues arose down the road, they came and fixed it absolutely free of charge! No one is perfect but companies who stand behind their work separate them from the pack! These people stand behind their work!

Jason went above and beyond his expectations he gave me a few pointers inside our house about vents being covered made sure we had a better flow through house he was very friendly and just a great personality I will most definitely request for him to come back for future needs thanks again Jason

This company was absolutely outstanding and most professional their workers Devon Josh and Tommy were so professional courteous and funny I would have them do any job in Knoxville for any business at any time I cannot give them enough kudos. If you need any work done please contact them they are fantastic.

A1 certified installed a high efficiency gas furnace at my house and due to a lack of expertise incorrectly plumbed the gas supply to the unit. They took a short cut and tied into a gas line that was supplying my tankless water heater, thereby starving both the furnace and the water heater. After speaking with the manufacturer and two other HVAC companies it is very clear the units are being starved and running inefficiently. I have contacted A1 and left multiple messages with the secretary and have no response back from management. I first notified them of the issue on April 17th and we are well into June. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism.

So I got my first response in two months since I submitted all the pictures to A1 after a negative review. It seems this is the only way to get communication from this company. So let me weed through all the lies in the owners response. First, I stand corrected it was April 12th that I made the first call, I was looking at the April 17th date on my phone which was actually a follow-up text asking why I hadn't heard anything back after submitting the pictures. Claiming I didn't respond back with the pictures is a lie. Next, our tankless water heater was most definitely in use, and specifically pointed out during the install. We do have an 80 gallon water heater, but it is on the other end of the house and only plumbed for the master and jacuzzi tub. This is a blatant lie. I have had nothing but problems from this company for two years, no problems other than the high static pressure is a lie. I don't expect them to fix this issue because it isn't in their character, I just want the community to know what they might get into if they use A-1 for their HVAC needs.

Marcus did a great job and was professional and very polite. He did forget to readjust the thermostat's temp, but overall he did his work and I'm very pleased! Great employee!

This business is a joke. Poorly run, unprofessional, just very sad in general. I wouldn’t give it any stars if that was an option. There are so many better options in the area than this mess.

Outstanding customer service and professionism. I had a furnace quit working on the 1st cold night of the year and called A-1 via a recomendation. They responded within 4 hours, diagnoised the issue and provided me with options for the repairs. My tech (Marcus) was outstanding ! Thank you A-1 !!!!! Gary Riggleman

These guys know their stuff! I had a heat exchange go bad. It was the coldest day of the year so far, they dropped everything and put 5 guys on my house to get the new unit in and in place before the sun went down! Matt, Jimmy, and team worked their tales off to keep the heat going in my house. One of the guys walked in and accidental treed dirt on my carpets. I pointed it out and he said they will come back with a carpet cleaner to repair the carpet. It was not necessary as I vacuumed it up but I appreciate them going the extra mile.

They just did an install of 2 18 SEER heat pumps, insulated my attic and did the air sealing. Price was as unbeatable as their service and professionalism. I highly recommend them.
