Great company. We have used their services twice. Once in 2019 for our AC and today for our heat. Both times they diagnosed and completed the needed repairs quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. We will definitely use them for any and all future HVAC needs. I have had my unit for 6 years maintenance free! today I had to have someone come for my first problem. It was just a capacitor but I received great service. Technician was very friendly and easy to work with. He was in and out in less than an hour. Thank you!
We have used them to install a brand new system in both our showroom and also our warehouse and they were fabulous. They also were very responsive to any issues we had and typically were able to come the very same day!
Carolina Sun repaired my AC unit. I had multiple minor issues and a larger issue that required multiple service calls. The technicians were professional each time. Communication was great to know when to expect them. My AC works great now.
I had purchased a unit from them, after having 4 contractors come out to install the unit Mr Platt himself came out with a crew to finally finish the installation. I had nothing but issues from the unit after they replaced the reversing valve about 6 months after installation of the unit. Since it's under a 10 year warranty I am forced to use the company for warranty work and maintenance. As I'm told or the warranty will be void. This summer the unit froze up again. They came and cleaned the unit and actually cleaned the inside coil as well. I was told that if I purchase the annual maintenance program it would be cleaned twice a year once in the summer and once in the fall. So I did after paying the service call and the maintenance fee and set up my fall service cleaning I had to call them to get them to come out and service my unit a month and a half late. When the technician came out he only checked the contacts, wires, and the gas that was in the unit. I explained to the technician that it was for a cleaning as well. He told me that it was an extra charge and left. Mr. Platt was supposed to call me several times over the miss representation and issues I've had over this unit. The lady at the office is very rude if you start to question the service or start to explain issues about the technicians. I still have a warranty with my unit but since they can't provide customer service or resolve any issues I won't use them any more and recommend you don't either.

03/08/20. I requested service from Carolina Sun Heating & Air. My outer unit(heat Pump) stop working( not cooling). When Technician and helper came to my house, I explained the matter and they conducted the require inspections on the unit. Technician, Jim, checked the outer init and installed a CAPACITOR to later proceed to do more testing on my unit. He said that the electric breaker kept tripping. After 30 min he walked inside the house and told me " bald news, compressor is bad". Later, he said " You may be better off with a new system, my boss is going to give you an estimate tomorrow" He just charged me the "service call" $89 dollars. Same day I called another Technician to check my unit. the guy check the unit and told me my unit only needed a capacitor, which I told him that the other guy(Jim) swapped it. But apparently he took it back and left compressor unplug. New guy fixed my unit. That was the only problem with my 17 years old unit( CAPACITOR) and "JIM" wanted to push a sale. Besides needing a capacitor, He disconnected the compressor and left several wires unplug. Now, my unit woks better than ever! NO thanks to Carolina Sun Heating & Air. 05.08.20. I received a call from Carolina Sun Heating & Air boss. Mike, he told me that his technician evaluated my system and that I needed a new A/C system. He said $4300 for the unit. I told him what happened and that his technician didn't wan to fix my unit but only push a sale. He told me " Whoo, Jim?" I said, Yes!. He said hold on one min I am going to talk to him and call you back. ..... Never called. Be AWARE of these people. DO NOT CALL THEM.
Always help me out for All my AC problem, very reasonable prices. all the people came to work are very nice and did a very good job. always did some extra work to make sure all your unit working right. they are respond their work, every time give them a call and they are always be there on time. does not let you wait too long.
