Stoudenmire Heating & Air Conditioning

We used Stoudenmire for a new system install in a new build and to repair an old system in our previous home. They were so helpful with being communicative and clear about best value to accomplish our goals. I am always hesitant about trusting services in areas I know nothing about but from the beginning, it was clear these guys wanted what was best for us. I feel relieved and grateful to have folks I know I can call and trust.

I can’t say enough about the service we have received from Stoudenmire, from customer service, the sale department, to all the technicians!!! I got an appointment to have Jason Blocker come out the same day, we called. He spoke to us about all the different options that we had, and was so knowledgeable about everything. He didn’t pressure us into anything that we didn’t want to do. We made a decision and the next morning the technician were here and did an excellent job, very thorough, respectful, on time, and professional. We will recommend Stoudenmire to anyone who needs any type of A/C and Heating. Great job, great people, great company, and we could ask for anything more!

I have used this company for many years. My service man came on time and gave me a run-down of everything he did before he left. Although I miss Mike Gatlin very much, he built this company to care about the customer. I get the service agreement each year to maintain my a/c and heating unit. They come out twice a year and accommodate me with my schedule. It is just like servicing your car. It is well worth it to me. The ladies on the phone are very pleasant. They take my payment over the phone and handle all my scheduling. I highly recommend this company.

Performed troubleshooting on our failing mini-split, then installed a new for us. Very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Responsive to our questions. Top notch! Highly recommend them.

We have used Stoudenmire since we moved to Columbia in 2013. We have used them for annual maintenance, moving our basement system, installing a whole house dehumidifier and replacing our first floor system including all new ductwork. They have always done what they promised professionally, on time and on budget. They are definitely our “go to” HVAC company and we highly recommend them!

Be warned: their website and Google page lie. They close at 4:30pm and charge $300 just to come out after that

Update: I received a call from the owner the next morning. He was very apologetic over the phone and we discussed ways to make sure their hours are more understandable on the website. He mentioned it was a newer thing they were trying and that he could understand the confusion. He offered to make it right for me by getting me on the books that day. While I did not end up using their service, the customer service and dedication to their reputation is through the roof!

Company has great technical skills and support however their pricing is totally not competitive.
They have a two step process where they send a “Diagnostic Technician “ at a rate of $150. Then a repair tech does the needed work.
In essence they are overcharging the homeowner an extra $150.
I can see this extra cost if you do not have them complete the work. However, most reputable companies will deduct this $150 charge from the final charge.
There are many other HVAC companies, make sure you know what you are paying for.

We were nominated by a friend/coworker to receive a free HVAC unit and were chosen! Michael the owner came out to our house himself and looked at what we had going on and sent the best team out the next week with a unit completely FREE! Chris and Dwayne were funny, personable and professional with their work. We could tell that they knew exactly what they were doing. They had to do a good bit to remove and replace our unit but did not complain not one bit! They will get all of our business from here on out along with referrals.

Stoudenmire installed the HVAC in our new home as well as the mini split in our pool house. They did an excellent job and were very thorough in explaining how to use and care for both systems. I definitely recommend them!
