I can’t express enough on how awesome my service was from Restivo’s this past weekend after my heat went out over night. I called Their on call line and the tech Curtis came out right away within an hour and told me what the issue was and he told me not to worry he had it on the truck and I wouldn’t have to wait because I was so worried especially having kids in the house. He came back in and replaced it and my heat was back on within the hour. Restivo’s was the only company out of the other 4 I tried calling that would come out. My heat is working just great. He was very thorough explaining things to me and indeed made me feel like I was important. I definitely will call them over anyone else.

Scheduled an appointment. No one showed up.

When I called the excuse was that the phones have been so busy that they didn't have time to call me and notify me that they needed to reschedule because contract customers come first. So, I had this appointment for over a month.

That is rude and shows a lack of regard for my time.

The decorative, wall hung heat/ac unit that Restivo's installed fell off my wall. I understand that this is probably not their fault (although the way they mounted it seems like part of the problem) but I am extremely upset with their poor level of customer service. The service manger did come to my house right away and inspect the issue. The SM simply said he would have to "order me a new head" and would be back in couple of days to replace it. He left my house and simply left the unit laying on my couch. Well, a couple of days passed and no phone call. I called the main office and was told the parts are on order but there was no timeline for when they would be in. I was then directed to the Service Dept. voicemail. Left a message, no call back. I called the office again and was told that the SM was on "emergency calls" throughout the day and was now done for the day and weekend. It was 4:30 on a Friday. The best answer I was given was that the SM would call me Monday. I have since had to prop the unit up and balance it on a box to avoid any damage to my couch. If the unit shifts and falls again there is a good possibility the coolant lines will break and coolant will spray all over my couch and walls. Even though Restivos acknowledged this, they offered no solution to the problem. I guess I will just have to wait until they get the parts and hope nothing happens. I am most upset over the lack of follow up from their service department. Very unhappy with my experience so far.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I cannot say how much I was glad to have worked done by this local family run company.

We recently had Air Conditioning added to our home which does not have duct work. The experience began with getting a quote by Jack Restivo. Mr. Restivo was very through explained what needed to be done, gave me a few options, explained why he was suggesting the equipment he picked and provided me with all the quotes I needed. Great first impression.

After a few more quotes from other companies, the Restivo's quote came in the middle, however, their equipment was better than what the other companies offered, so we decided to go with them. the equipment was delivered exactly when they said it would. When the work began, i was greeted by Jack's son, Nick, who was going to be one of the workers, and also the person in charge of the project. the whole crew was cheerful, and always very respectful, even on extremely hot days. when you work in an attic and the temperature outside is close to 100 degrees, you have the right to be a little annoyed, but not these guys.

The final product came out INCREDIBLE. the work was clean, the units look great and the upstairs work, which is a duct system, is amazing. One of the best investments we made, and no more having to haul 5 AC's before and after every summer. Also, if there are any rebates, they don't just hand you the material and leave you to take care of it, they fill out all the information and provide you with a nice packet all filled and the instructions on where to send the material.

I strongly recommend Restivo's, not only was the work professional, the whole team was very professional, and a major bonus they are a local company.

This company did a fine job installing my central air but refused to take care of problems that developed. Two leaks in my ceiling caused damage and an electrical problem that they refuse to resolve and won't return my phone calls. Stay away from this company.

That was an interesting response below from Restivos because no other company did work in that area AND I had regular maintenance done each year. Still sprung 2 leaks which caused lasting damage which has not been addressed.

Shortly after I moved into my new home, my boiler would not fire up. After several calls to other after hours emergency lines, Restivo was the only company who would agree to come out to look at my unit. Granted, my boiler was close to 80 years old, the Restivo tech was actually excited to work on a unit that old. The tech took a little over an hour to come out, and after going over a few things, found a blocked line connecting the low water shutoff sensor to the power supply. The tech even had the owner on the line who assured me "anytime you call for service we'll come out no problem!" Ok, great!

So fast forward to the beginning of April when my CO alarm started to sound. Fortunately there was no serious problem, but the boiler was shut off and someone needed to look at the unit. While the fire department was still ventilating my house, I called the Restivo after hours line. This was at about 9:30pm. The tech who answered was all about coming out until he asked how old the unit was. "oh, it's our policy not to work on units older that 40 years old" was his reply. He wouldn't even entertain the idea of coming out just to look at it to see if he can see anything. Any question I had he had a quick excuse why he couldn't come out. He told me with a unit as old as mine I would need to replace it. I suggested if he came out I would at least buy the replacement from Restivo, but he still refused. So I thanked him for his time, but he continued to give me excuses why he cant come out. I had to hang up on him.

In conclusion I will say Restivo lost out on a $6,900 check. More importantly, their tech showed the companies true colors. They have also been deleted from my phone contacts list. I found a contractor who was more than happy to go out of his way to come out and help me in my time of need.

Scheduled a $12,000 job. Called 8 times, all options on their phone...well past them being opened. Left message, haven't heard from them. Clearly my choose to cancel work (first time customer) was a correct one to make.

I made an appt for a quote for a home conversion from oil to gas. My appt was for a Wednesday. I called an confirmed on Monday. They should have been here for 4pm. At 4:25 I called and was told it was anytime from 4 to 5. At 5:05 I called and they were closed. Needless to say they never showed. Both my husband and I left work early to be here. Very inconsiderate, and very unprofessional.

Mario is hands down the best technician we have ever had complete work for us. After a crummy boiler install from a different company- Mario came in and worked his magic. He is extremely dedicated to his craft and exceeds all expectations. He came in to get our boiler up and running and was at our house late into the night because he didn’t want to leave the job unfinished. Seriously could not recommend him enough. He takes the time to walk you through the work that has been completed leaving you with a feeling of comfort after completion. THANK YOU MARIO!!

Excellent service. Called due to heater blowing cold air. After calling 3 other companies (1 no answer, 1 said they were the only service tech and they were leaving for a vacation, 1 never returned message) Restivo's came through big. They answered and said a tech would be onsite in a few hours. They later called and said the tech would be delayed but be onsite by 2. Tech arrived at 1:30. The tech was friendly, went out of his way to explain things, and was very helpful. Also honest. We had an issue years before and had a hunch we had the same issue. He told us the problem and fixed it quickly. He also showed me of a pontential problem which would be cheaper to fix today rather than pay for another service call. Highly recommend Restivo's.
