Every step of the way, the employees are professional and helpful. Great troubleshooting over the phone. The service techs make great recommendations when it's time to fix or replace. Sales explains the AC furnace and thermostat options perfectly. The install team worked hard and kept me updated as needed. I can tell each employee genuinely cares about their customers.
My family has used Donovan and Jorgenson for over 40 years, so when I decided to replace my 30 year-old furnace and A/C unit with a heat pump, they were the only firm I called. I had already done extensive research on heat pumps, and Steve, their consultant, gave me an awesome walk-through of the options available and easily answered my many questions. On the day of the installation, Dave and Matthew were amazing! They arrived right on time, covered nearby floors and stairs, and got to work. The job ended up taking 10.5 hours due to multiple outdated utility connections they discovered in my home. They kept me updated and informed through the whole process, showing me the areas needing extra work, and took the extra time to make sure every step of the installation was done correctly. They truly went above and beyond with the unanticipated work they had to do to make the installation safe and long-lasting for my family. I highly recommend D&J!
We had our iComfort thermostat die. Another company came out who did not know anything about our thermostat. We called Donovan & Jorgenson and they didn't just schedule us like other companies do. They asked a lot of relevant questions to make sure they could get the job done right and with little delay to us. Before coming out they even called our manufacturer and found out it was still under warranty! That alone saved me $1,000. Technician, Ross, came out the next day. He was very polite and considerate. He took his time and was very thorough. Every person that I spoke with from the office staff was so nice and helpful also. We will never use anyone else to service our HVAC systems. Amazing team 👏
Just wanted to give a shout out to the person in the office at 7.30 am on a Saturday morning for her prompt and courteous response to my call. And to Adam, my technician, who serviced my air conditioner and installed a new thermostat today. You did a great job! Thank you! You will be getting repeat business from me in the future.
The initial call was placed and a technician was here within two days. Al was very keen on our needs and even went out in an ice storm the same day to get us the parts required for the fix. Prompt and knowledgable, with no cleanup!
I was without heat and they came to look at within an hour of my call. While the technician got heat going he couldn't guarantee would stay on as broken gas valve. As I wanted to replace furance they had salesman to my house within hours and were able to install the next morning.
This company repaired a section of our radiant heating system about a month ago after one of the pipes sprang a leak in our attic. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and worked well to fix the issue in a timely manner. Unfortunately, one of the technicians forgot to reopen a valve leading to our boiler's expansion tank, which cause the system to over-pressurize, and damaged a relief valve they had installed preventatively. I called them immediately and they came out quickly to remedy the expansion tank issue, and also replaced the relief valve that was damaged, both under warranty. Great customer service, and professional, responsible attitude all around. We'd definitely use them in the future and recommend them without hesitation.
We have used this company two times with HVAC failures in the last 6 months. Both times we had a technician named Rob, who does wonderful work and fixed our simple hard failures quickly and inexpensively. I cannot recommend this company more highly. We are also working on replacing the entire system and Donavan and Jorgenson is going to get the first chance at replacing the entire system. We like them that much!
Will was the tech to do the furnace maintenance. Called me then came in very soft spoken and polite. Showed him where the furnace was and he began working. It was an hour and a half later Will was done. Came up asked me a few questions with no pressures. Scott F. thank you for listening to my issue. I love this company! They are so responsive and really take the time to educate you about what's going on. They never push for something that's not 100% needed and give you all the pros and cons so your decisions are well informed
The salesman was responsive and answered questions well. A full explanation was given which was understandable. Professional recommendations were given which was helpful. The installation crew which consisted of four or five individuals was very professional and efficient. The crew asked questions freely and involved us in decisions. The crew answered our questions and considered our preferences. We felt comfortable having the crew in our home. The crew was friendly and respectful. The crew was concerned about doing a good job and about meeting standards. All of the work was very well done. The crew informed us of their schedules and kept us up-to-date regarding the progress of the project. This was all excellent work.
This company was so helpful and professional! My a/c broke down in the beginning of summer and I was able to have a new unit installed in days, I was so grateful!! Since my furnace was older it made sense to do them both at the same time and the price was great. The crew got done in less than a day they were courteous and cleaned up too, even when I said they didn’t need to, they insisted! I would recommend this company and my salesman Paul was patient and helpful throughout the entire process, I’m happy I had the best of the best do my work!
Last week, when Ron came to to do maintenance on our A/C system, we found an unpleasant surprise: a chipmunk had decided to nest inside the electrical area of the unit outside and in addition to apparently electrocuting himself, had been chewing on some of the wires. So, after cleanup and a necessary capacitor replacement, Ron also had to splice and replace some wiring. He also packed some steel wool into potential access areas. Considering the mess, Ron had a great attitude and we are thankful to have had him and contracted to have contracted for the maintenance. Thanks very much!
Although I have used D&J many times over the years for my heating and A/C needs, this is the first time I have offered a review. I have always received good service and good value from D&J. I recently had a bad programmable thermostat replaced. The replacement was quick and efficient. I did have some questions about the service after the technician left my house. These questions were handled quickly by the staff at the office, completely to my satisfaction.
From the first call to the final review of installation, the crew from Donovan & Jorgenson were professional, helpful, and on time. They delivered on every promise made. And we know that they stand by their products - and we can call on them anytime in the future.
These guys messed up the wiring when installing new heating system, now they don't respond or show up. Paid another company $250 to fix their mess. Update: Called them 3 times in one week on 3 different days and every time their customer service rep. said we will send the technician when they become available.
Simply put, THESE GUYS ROCK! Had a heck of a day with my son being born and our A/C going out the same day. They took the stress of the day off my plate and was able to come, quote, and install a new AC unit and furnace THE SAME DAY. Big shout out to Phil, who is a consummate and caring professional. You have earned my repeat business guaranteed!!!
Air conditioner on the fritz. Called at 8 a.m. and had a technician here at noon. John was very thorough and explained the problem, repaired the same and gave us tips of simple things to do on our own. Highly recommend this company and their staff !! Thank you !
I've been using D&J for over 30 years and have never been disappointed by any of their work. The technicians are polite, knowledgeable and professional. I've recommended to many people who have started using them as well.
