Appointment was setup on the internet using their calendar, the repair tech, Kyle, was here promptly and provided everything we need in information and what it would cost to repair our 23 year old unit while making sure that we had a system tech come out after he was done to provide a cost for a new unit. Justin was great to work with and provided a few options for replacement vs. our repair and some changes to the system to optimize our energy usage. Both were professional and provided what we required to make a decision.

Made the mistake of giving Capital another chance to service our equipment after previous bad experiences. Randy our A/C tuneup guy was professional and seemed knowledgeable. This is where it stops. We showed him a part that was replaced from our furnace from a prior service call. It was a collector plate and we were told it was cracked and needed replacing. I told him our furnace still has the same issues after they replaced it and he said it sounded like our pressure switch might be the issue. He inspected the replaced part and he also could not see a crack and said he would take it back to the office and see about getting us a refund. Capital has not gotten back to us to date and has ignored my text regarding it. Randy also changed a wire setting on our furnace for the A/C which concerned me. The wire setting has been the same since our furnace was installed over 10 years ago and we have not had issues with this setting. I asked if we could get something in writing regarding this change in case we had problems, I was told by 3 different people at Capital that they would email me documentation of the change and I even sent a follow up text to boot but have still not received a response. Randy also told us we had a static pressure issue and a 2nd technician came out to pinpoint the issue. The solutions were to add duct work and/or a new A/C system. To our surprise, the cheapest fix of adding 1 duct would cost us over 6k, with a discount mind you, and that still would only partially fix our problem. You can imagine how much it cost for the other options we were quoted. Let me add that we bought into their Capital Cares Program that stated you are put at the front of the line for any service you need. We made an A/C tuneup appointment in April for a tech to come out in June. I do not have a flexible work schedule so I burned a day of paid leave to accommodate the appointment. My initial experience with Capital was with one of their technicians, Anthony, who was called to give me a diagnosis on my A/C. He was very timely, friendly, professional, and the only technician who has ever offered to bring ME a cup of coffee. Anthony diagnosed the problem with my A/C, and while it wasn't what I wanted to hear, I had confidence that he knew his stuff and had made an accurate diagnosis. I am continuing to work with Capital on the installation of a new A/C system. More to come!

There was quite a bit of build up in our nearly 100-year old home, and the previous owner didn't seem to be using a filter. It feels great knowing our ducts were properly and professionally cleaned!

My husband and I booked this company for HVAC cleaning after moving into a new home. They sent out a tech, my husband walked him around our home showing him the vents. The tech then asked to use the restroom, and a quick visit wouldn't have been an issue (we're all human) but the tech took a lengthy defecation. After this, the tech did not provide any overview or education regarding the tasks he would be performing, or the service as a whole. The tech moved about the house silently, without telling myself or my husband what he needed access to, and when I approached him to ask, he just stared at me and seemed confused - as if I was in the wrong for trying to help. We also told him 3 separate times that we had cats in the house that we were trying to keep behind a closed door so that they would not try and escape through the propped back door. Despite this, he opened doors without asking until we reminded him again. This continued for the length of the service. I also heard the tech having a personal phone conversation for about the last 30 min of the service. Upon leaving, the tech showed me the invoice and photos but was mumbling under his breath at times and I couldn't understand what he was saying. No further education/overview was provided. After the service, we were contacted 3 times in under a week to leave a review. Our service was on a Wednesday, and I finally called the company on Monday and spoke with a customer service person about our experience. They said they would elevate the feedback and I specifically mentioned the amount of times we were contacted to leave a review. I was told we were to be removed from this list, but today, I received yet another reminder to leave a review. So, I am doing so. I am frustrated by the professionalism of the tech, and the customer service experience wherein they can't even follow through at removing us from a contact list. Unbelievable.

I received 5 star service from Logan, who responded to a call I made for water leakage. It turned out the prior tech who completed my a/c tune-up forgot to put one of the drain tubes back into the pump. The tube is right next to a pillar in my basement, so I never noticed it. Logan made a few other recommendations for improvements to my HVAC service. He was very professional and focused on solving the problem and making sure I was a happy customer. Review is 4 stars because the issue should not have happened, but Logan gets 5 stars.
