I was shocked with the amazing service I received from the Shackelford team. They were so prompt, accommodating, helpful, thorough.. I could go on and on! I wish all businesses could operate on this level. HIGHLY recommend!!
Shackelford is the HVAC vendor the builder used on a dream home I built in 2021. They are letdown & I'm here to tell all people building homes, you have a choice in your HVAC provider & I recommend you choose someone other than Shackelford. I built a large 4K square foot home with a basement (50% above grade) that is absolutely frigid during the winter. It was impossible to get the temperature above 62 degrees & it was in the 50's during the coldest days. I reached out to Shackelford about this &, after being ignored frequently, they finally replied & said I, "should have installed a zone system like we offered." This sounds reasonable EXCEPT that I never spoke with them during the build. I only indicated to my builder that I wanted top of the line equipment, which Shackeford was all to happy to price. So there is an element of dishonesty since they'll make up whatever they need to get out of responsibility. I have full proof of their claim & our email history. As mentioned, picked out all top of the line equipment from the Carrier Infinity Greenspeed & Renewaire lines. I even added a humidifier & an ERV air exchanger. I was willing to spend whatever was required to get good indoor air quality. And Shackelford never thought to tell me during the build that 1/3 of my home, which had a bedroom, living room, 6 above grade windows & a kitchenette COULD NEVER get warmer than 62 during the winter. Nobody told me. When you spend many thousands of dollars upgrading your HVAC to a top of the line system, you have a reasonable expectation you would be told keeping almost 1/2 the house above 62 in the winter would be an issue. Shackelford never gave me this courtesy. I asked Shackelford to help me find a solution, so they said they'd contact the electrician & get back to me. They didn't get to me for almost a month. When I expressed frustration with the timeline since winter was approaching, they threatened to not help me find a solution unless I did everything their way

We had Jon from Shackelford out to clean our furnace. He answered my questions and was friendly and professional. Great communication and good quality work. Very happy and will use them for our HVAC work going forward.
I had these guys install a gas heater in my garage. They did an excellent job and all the guys were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and everything was amazing. Keep up the good work guys. If you’re looking for quality work, this company has you covered
Mike, Holly & the entire Shakelford team provided top notch service when our furnace was diagnosed as basically “dead” back in late October - right before the cold started settling in. In looking for HVAC companies to come out to provide an estimate, a friend that recently had a great experience with Shackelford referred us to them. Mike was quick to come out, assess and provide quotes for the various class of furnace we were looking to get - which was a Carrier Infinity or equivalent. Not only was Shakelford the fastest to respond (same day we contacted them) they also gave us the best quote. In less than a week from the initial call, we had our new furnace installed. The installing technicians were friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how the new smart thermostat worked. As I mentioned earlier, the entire process from start to finish was the best. I’d highly recommend them for your future heating and cooling needs!

During a routine maintenance call on my AC unit. The tech found a problem with the bearings in the AC motor. The unit was still under warranty, ordered the part and installed the new motor. Not the 1st time they exceeded expectations.

They showed up almost immediately on the same day, were able to immediately diagnose the issue, and came back with the new part to be installed within an hour or two. Customer service from the office and the technicians was excellent. I'm stunned with what they were able to accomplish within just a few hours.
Shackelford Heating and Cooling have always treated me well when they have performed services for me. I've had both my a/c unit and furnace replaced in the past and have been very happy with both the products and the service from the company. Today (Friday, 5/13/22) my a/c unit blew a capacitor at the end of the business day. I called a few minutes before closing just to get on the schedule, and just wanted to let them know what was going on. After talking with Holly and getting on the schedule for the upcoming Monday (weekend gets in the way of service), I got a call back from Mike saying that he was driving through town and would stop by on his way to check out what was happening. He did not need to do that, but I am very grateful. The repair ended up being a very easy fix for him and we spent more time catching up and waiting for the a/c unit to cycle on than it took for him to perform the repair. I always appreciate the great service I get from Shackelford Heating and Cooling and really enjoy working with them. Going the extra mile does not go unnoticed. Highly recommend!
OMG, on a day when no one would call me back they squeezed us in and fixed the AC on a day when it was 93 outside. Amazing service! Quick, easy, painless! Thank you so much!
My AC went out the second hot day of the year. Just a simple fan capacitor replacement, but every HVAC place is obviously slammed with jobs. Shackelford was able to come out the same day we called, friendly service, no emergency rate.
These guys are top notch. Our furnace went out after hours while I was out of town. The owner came over late at night to try and fix it, left heaters for my wife and 4-month-old, and came back at 7 am the next day with a new furnace. Appreciate the folks that work here, they were there when we needed them most.
Woke up on a Saturday and my furnace was out. I knew the part that I needed to fix it but all the dealers in town were closed over the weekend. Figured I’d give it a shot and fill out the online form for Shackelford. They called my very shortly after, let me know they had the part in that I needed and let me come pick it up so that I wouldn’t have to go the weekend without heat in the winter. I’ll 1,000% be coming back to this business whenever I need a furnace or a/c replacement in the future!
