These guys LOVE to play on their phones while driving company vans, swerve all over the road, and drive way slower than the speed limit. I can't wait to get into an accident with one of their vans and collect a FAT insurance check $$$

APEX air quickly replaced our old heating and cooling company that we used to use as our go to company to contact when we have issues with the heating and cooling at home or at our business locations. We used to use a different company but one time we needed something done urgently and the other company couldn’t fit us in and we called around and found apex and I have never been happier! They are so very reasonable on pricing. They communicate well. Their customer service is amazing. I couldn’t say enough good things about them.

Our system was blowing only cold air after a recent power outage so I called to have someone come take a look and got a same day appointment. A tech named Corey came to my literal rescue today and helped get my heat back on in less than 15 minutes!! He had amazing customer service and was super friendly! I know little to nothing about HVAC systems and he taught me some valuable information along the way of how to properly care for it moving forward. Would recommend Apex Air to my friends and family!

Justin was awesome! He gave me a curtesy call when on his way. Once arrived, super friendly and showed me exactly what was wrong, how to fix it and so on. He made sure I saw what was going on so I would understand everything, which I wanted and asked for. He pulled up quotes for me for future parts and had no problem doing so! Will definitely recommend this business to my local friends and family!

Company was asked to come out to service our furnace, company disclosed a $300 trip charge but failed to disclose a min hourly rate in addition to the $300 charge of $460. Service tech admitted he should have disclosed that but forgot, spoke to the main office manager who said it’s not their policy to disclose their rates up front but when I pointed out that that’s extremely shady business practices, he insisted it’s not. The manager said he also spoke to the owner of the company who also said he didn’t care if the tech told me up front or not, they did a service, they can charge whatever they want regardless of if they disclosed it to me or not. Extremely unethical business practices taking advantage of a 75 year old pensioner. Be aware, they will tell you their $300 trip feel but fail to mention they will actually charge you a min of $860 for going out even if it only took 30mins and no parts to fix. Edit: Owners response is even more telling at what a dishonest company he runs. It was his own employee who told me he was there from 8:20am to 8:50am. When I talked to the manager he said they go based off of GPS tracking, not what his employee says. So even if his employee sits in his car for 30mins you will be billed for whole time he was parked at that location. The manager and I actually did reach a mutual agreement on a more reasonable price and said he would get it fixed but just like the initial deceptive practices he called later to say they changed their minds. At the end of the day any company that doesn’t make it a policy to disclose its hourly rate upfront is dishonest and deceptive. You can’t justify or argue that but this company certainly will try.

Man I really liked the tech but the pricing is extremely exorbitant. $300 trip charge for a Saturday. Didn’t tell me it’s $465 an hour for labor. This unit was installed by them 3 years ago unit a brand new home. Tech worked for 40min tops, cleaned the jets/burner, adjusted gas pressure and pulled off and reattached the flu. Total cost if that? $815. I get it is weekend, and if it wasn’t near freezing overnight we could wait. But talk about exploitative pricing. And I haven’t had to fix the burner in any unit that is so new. Guess I get to work a couple days so I can pay for the 1hr service Edit: Yes, new review is 40, I originally stated the time from when the tech arrive till the time my father called me back. 40 is the amount of time the tech told us. And yes your trip is 285 and if you add tax that is 300 but way to focus on $15 instead of not disclosing the real cost nor issue. When I spoke to your company, before anyone came out I was told it was going to be $300 for the trip. Again this is what I was told. No one told me the hourly nor that there is a 1hr minimum. So reality is there was no way it was going to cost me $300. The minimum it could have was $815. But that was not disclosed before I had anyone come out or perform any work. This is the crux of the issue. We were led to believe the minimum cost would be $300, but in fact it is $815. There are other options that we would have pursued had anyone been transparent in your pricing.

We have had Apex Air come out four times in the past year and a half. We have a consistent issue in the winter when we have our heater on. Our master bedroom temp is at 90 degrees and the rest of the house is at the temperature we set it at on our thermostat. This issue was first discovered in 2021, and nothing has been done. They keep selling us on more visits yet this issue persists. We called to speak with Sofia in the service department. She had a bad attitude and terrible customer service. She had a negative tone and told us we couldn’t get something for free. I do not recommend Apex Air. They will just take your money, tell you everything looks good when they visit, sell you on a routine maintenance plan, and will not address what needs to be fixed. Update 11/22/22: Sofia apologized and provided a solution of how we could fix the issue ourselves at home. She delivered it a hasty manner with a tone and hung up immediately after she delivered the information. The solution worked nonetheless. We are grateful that the problem was fixed, but it has been an unpleasant experience with Sofia.

Great company! The techs are knowledgeable and professional, and always take the time to explain what they've done, report on the condition of the hvac system, and let us know what to expect until the next visit. We're on a maintenance contract with them and really appreciate the convenience.

Miguel and Ethan were very thorough and professional. Prior to install, Tony walked me through the whole process and was very clear on what was being done. Love our new AC system! Highly recommend Apex Air!

Amended 8.17.22 ********************************** We called a number given by the company on another review. This put us in touch with the New Construction Department, where we spoke to a staff member who was amazing; she listened to our concerns and helped discuss our options. She said she would ask the owner, Tim, or the Retail Manager, Charles, to call us back. Charles gave us a call the same day and said that they would fix our issues free of charge. Since our phone call to the New Construction department, Apex has been very attentive, has had great communication, and the repairs they did are holding strong. I am incredibly grateful for the staff and technicians that helped us get this mistake fixed. The review has been increased because of the amazing service. It isn't 5 stars because of lengths that we had to go through to rectify the issues and the fact that the person who called us back to tell us the work was completely covered was also the same person who originally told us that Apex wouldn't accept responsibility for the original issues and that $650 was the best deal they would offer because this "wasn't their fault". **************************************** Original review- The company that built our home in 2020 used Apex to install the HVAC system. We had an issue with it leaking after the first year- they sent out a technician who claimed to fix the leak without taking the unit off the wall and then told us to clean the filter. Now-a year later- we had a leak in the same spot but worse. We called and had a wonderful technician out to diagnose the problem. $140 service fee was quoted, totally fine. The technician did a thorough and amazing job. He found issues that were never dealt with and were byproducts of the initial installation being done incorrectly. He again, was great and very thorough, said he would speak with his company to see about rectifying this issue. The issue continued to get worse over the 3 days that it took for the office As

The service started out great. We actually were set up to be bi annually serviced. But, they did not call for the set up this season. Our AC started to leak. I called asking why they didn't call to set up service. She said they would get around to it, but it's our responsibility. Ok. No worries, I was told otherwise when I set it up. So, I asked if they would come fix the issue and service it. Then she said they wouldn't service it until the issue was fixed and quoted me over a hundred dollars more than they had the first time they fixed it. Ok, inflation and all, but, that's crazy. Then told me they couldn't come for a few weeks. When we set up our service originally they said we would be prioritized. Nope. At that point, since she seriously had let me know she could care less, I told her we are just going to cancel. She said "no problem" and abruptlygot off the phone. I know that the techs are awesome, it's just sad that the company has someone that represents like this. I rarely right reviews, but, I hope the owner knows what's going on in his office. Not unlike her, I don't care either, there are several other choices out there that are just as good, and charge less.

When I woke up in the morning to get my children ready for the day, I noticed the house was much warmer than normal. To my dismay, the HVAC system suddenly stopped working. No fan, no cooling, no heating. The weather outside was planning to peak at 100 degrees for the day. I panicked. I have 2 children under 2 so having a warm home is not safe at all. I called Apex Air as their phone number was listed on our thermostat. I left a message since it was a weekend so it was after hours. When calling 5 to 6 other cooling/ HVAC specialists they had all told me they were not taking more calls for the day. I got a call back no less than 15 minutes later from Apex. They advised that it was an after hours call so the cost for them to come out was much higher than regular business hours. I was given a time frame in which the specialist would arrive. A window of 1 hour to 4 hours later. I got a text message stating they were on their way and it was about 30 minutes after my phone call. I worked with Zach. When he arrived he immediately started working at figuring out what was going on. He was very clear and set the expectation of the things he needed to look into. He spent maybe 45 minutes here and was very honest with me. I had the choice to pay him to have him work on de icing the air conditioner lines during the after hours rate or to give it about 24 to 48 hours of letting the lines de ice themselves. He said they could back when the normal rate would be charged and using my portable air conditioners would be the best money saving option. I appreciate the quick help from Apex Air and the hard work of Zach! We were not able to get a full system diagnosis as the lines were not thawed at the time of their visit but we not have had enough time for the lines to thaw and they should be out for another visit soon to see what the initial problem was.

The installers went above and beyond without me asking. They thoroughly tested the system after install and found a short in the low voltage lines due to previous rat issues. The short was in an extremely hard to access point in the crawl space, but he got the wires spliced, patched the hole, and also fixed a tear in the duct that was allowing air from under the house into our living room ( I didn’t ask him to do this he just could tell it needed to be done and fixed it without asking which I really appreciate!)

Our technician, Justin, arrived on time at 8:00 am. He called and texted before his arrival. Justin was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly, neat and efficient. We would definitely recommend APEX Air and will. The office was equally responsive, articulate and very helpful. We did need a part and the pricing was fair. Thank you
