Mr Carlson came out and provided a reasonable estimate and was very friendly. His techs came out and replaced our old furnace and installed a new heat pump. Highly recommend
Dimitry was awesome during the maintenance visit. He is so knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything to me as he did it. Such a great service for peace of mind, too! Please give him a raise!

Awesome service and real helpful
We have never felt better about spending such an amount of money with a company. We had to replace our furnace and heat pump and after many bids and botched orders we contacted Carlson’s. From the initial consult to installation and follow-up everyone from Carlson’s was knowledgeable, professional and KIND. Great company, wish they had been our first call.
Horrible unprofessional service. On 2 different occasions we made appointment for them to come service our system and never showed up. Called to see where the techs were at an just gave us the ring around. Will not be using them again!
Never called me back
We bought our first home this year, being new homeowners we’ve never had to deal with repairs. Twice in the first two months are heating system went down. During our first cold snap this season and our first snow day (18° outside!!). Both times we were able to get same day service, Andrea was VERY helpful and was able to get a tech out to us ASAP. Dimitri was our technician on both calls. He was very professional, identified the issues quickly, and explained what had happened and the measures he took to fixit and prevent it from happening again. Very happy with Carlsons heating and cooling. We will definitely be using their business for annual maintenance and future repairs.
I called several places in the are and no one would help over the holiday week. Carlson's came within an hour. Dmitry was professional and diagnosed our issue. Our heat is working beautifully.
Absolutely awful. Had them come out twice to find out what our A/C issue was months ago. Charged a whopping $1,000.00 just to find out what issue we had. Came up with a couple problems and they never actually helped us with a solution. Said they would send quotes since we were told we needed a brand new unit. Never sent any quotes and we still don’t know what the final issue with our unit was. Will Never use these people again.
Not sure what the plan itself is called exactly but we pay Carlson's a fee for two annual inspections of our HVAC system to ensure everything is working properly before the hot and cold season. Edward has been our HVAC tech for the past 3 years. I should have written a review sooner as he's always been professional, courtesy, on time and very knowledgeable. Our central air stopped working during the recent heatwave we experienced in the Pacific Northwest. Cold air still flowed but it was obvious something was wrong. Edward came out to inspect it (hole in our a/c line) and then returned a few days later to repair it. He arrived on time and the same as he always was - fantastic. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID for us!
It took 2 days to return a call to tell me that they could NOT get to me for awhile, as they do not have a technician to repair commercial! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Very friendly and efficient. They were also very courteous. Highly recommend using them.
Great quick emergency weekend repair
I bought a home that Carlson had installed a new unit in for the previous owners. After moving in and getting settled it was time to take care of home maintenance needs which included servicing of the heat pump and furnace since it had not been done recently. I had never worked with Carlson before but being that they’ve done work here before, I called them for the service. There are 2 heat pumps and 2 furnaces. Tech came out spent about an hour or so, honestly can’t remember how long. He gave me two invoices, one or each system, giving it the seal of approval that everything was good. When I moved in, it was summer (July) and this service happened in the fall (September) so I told the tech that I noticed the 2nd system never really cooled the home during the summer and if he noticed any concerns regarding the system. He said no, it could have been it was a really hot summer or because it was for the upstairs and heat rises then it could be too hot for the ac to cool. I was not satisfied with this answer but being that he knew more about it than I did I left it at that. My system kept having a difficult time cooling off even getting into some not very hot days in September and beginning of October but I kept reminding myself of what the tech told me so I just managed the best way I could. Fast forward to now. It’s been getting colder, I’m using the heat more which appears to have no issues but seems to run on Auxiliary Heat quite a bit. I called Affordable Heating/Air-conditioning to check out that specific issue since I worked with them in my previous home and knew I could trust them. Tech came out, told me there was a burned out board that was causing the problem. I asked him if this would also cause the troubles I had during the summer months. Keep in mind I never told him Carlson had already been out or what the tech said. His answer was yes, with that part burned out, the fan would run but it wouldn’t be able to pump cool air in the system which in turn would n
Arrived when they said for preseason HVAC maintenance. The tech was respectful (mask, gloves, booties) and showed me how the system operated (just bought the house and had no clue where the filter was even). Will definitely use Carlson's going forward.
Technician arrived on time and put on shoe coverings anytime he was inside my house. My system is approximately 10 years and has been maintained annually by Carlson’s. Our system continues to function well saving me money with heat pump savings. The technician appears to thoroughly checkout the inside and outside units of the system. He was courteous and gave me recommendations that are helpful to ensure the system continues working well. I will not hesitate to have Carlson’s perform the annual maintenance again next year and recommend this company to others.

Carlson installed a new ductless heating and air conditioning unit. They did exactly what they bid and did it for the price they gave. Everything from instalation to clean up was done perfectly. The unit has worked great and I couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend them and give them the highest rating I can.
Robert is always friendly and efficient during the maintenance visits. I have been using Carlson's for 14 years for repairs and maintenance of my system an will continue to do so.
