B & M has serviced my furnace for several years and I was always impressed with their responsiveness and ability to solve problems at a reasonable cost. But for the past week I have been calling them to come out and diagnose an issue with the heat and have called 3 times...each time I talk to a women who says she will pass the info on to the technician but I never get a call back or any communication. I am going to have to try another company. Sad. Don't know why our local businesses in the trades are so lousy about communicating with customers and potential customers. This is the 3rd local business that I have had a bad experience with this year, just in terms of responding to calls or inquiries. Really no excuse for it! Do better!
They installed my heat pump prior to owning this house. I had another company service it and they discovered that too much freon was added which caused a leak. My system has a 10 year warranty. I've been calling for over 2 months and I keep getting told that they will email the technician and get back to me. I am now trying to sell my house and this is a huge problem. It is under warranty. I should not have to give a $5000 allowance to replace it! My realtor and the buyers realtor has even called on my behalf and has gotten no where! I am soo angry about this. We went all summer long with no A/C in hot, hot weather because this company does not honor their work! They don't even return phone calls! So now I'm going to be out even more money because of them.
I called them up and explained that my Trane A/C is not working, and that it stopped blowing air. They said "A tech will get hold of you," and gave me no other information. Nobody has gotten hold of me, and it has been days. This is unprofessional and I am skeptical that this place even does repairs. 0 stars - Do not waste your time!
I have been with this company for 30 years or more, owning 2 heat pumps bought from them and having them maintained every 6 months. After several calls trying to get scheduled for winter maintenance he turfs me off to another electric company because he says he's too busy. Still haven't heard from other company. When I need a new heat pump I definitely won't be calling B and M.

Great service, prompt and competent.
Good experience. I got a call back within an hour, and an appointment the next business day. The service guys called me on their way to alert me they were coming. At every level they were good communicators. They were thorough to investigate and efficient to solve the problem. I asked questions, and they were interested in answering them to help me understand my heating and cooling system, beyond the needed repair. I recommend B&M!

Thoroughly professional and fast. Don diagnosed the problem as a broken flame sensor and had it fixed ASAP. Will call again when problems arise.

I called B&M after hearing them on my favorite radio station to help me with the annual maintenance on a number of furnaces in a storage facility. I was leery because I was afraid that moving from building to building could each be viewed as new service call as well as fears they would be pushing for all new systems.... I couldn't be happier with Don the Tech. He was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. He found problems with 3 units but was able to fix them with less than $50 in parts each time and the one unit that was totally down they replaced the motor very efficiently. This is a great company and definitely will back again next year and the year after that for all my HVAC needs
