Absolutely despicable organization. When I was out of town, one of their people came to help my wife figure out our furnace had shut off. Spent less than an hour here, installed a new chintzy thermostat (which I also could have easily done in 30 min), and charged her $715. Just disgusting. My wife emailed them directly to ask why the fee was so high, and to question why the invoice wasn't itemized in any way (just one lump some), and they never responded to her.
Sundance Energy supplied and installed a lovely gas fireplace at our home here in Edmonds. Brian with the sales team was great to work with and our install manager Tobias was fantastic and very tolerable of our watchful dogs/cats/little ones. I would definitely recommend Sundance and use them again for any of our HVAC needs.
A tech was sent to repair my fireplace. It is one for which they are an authorized dealer. He was unable to repair it and left. But I was still charged $100. He just gave up and had no idea what to do. I called the manufacturer, Heat n Glo, and they told me the tech should have called them to get assistance. It was a weird experience and a waste of money. I have since had another shop, Fireside Home Solutions, come and their repairman fixed the problem right away.
Good service. Jordan was both professional and efficient with his inspection of our heating system. He walked us through what he saw and his recommendations. We felt like a valued customer. 4-stars rather than 5 because I had to call to schedule a visit 3 times and the delay pushed us into the time of year when the A/C could not be inspected with the heating system.
From the company representative on the phone who initially booked our appointment, all the way to the technician who performed safety and maintenance service on our furnace, AC system, and gas fireplaces, Sundance Energy gave us a highly positive impression. Communications were prompt and clear, we received a call and text prior to the technician‘s arrival, and the service was performed with a very high standard of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. Our technician, Jordan, presented with obvious skill and an unusually high degree of integrity, enthusiasm, respect, and clear communication. We hope to work with Jordan again for future maintenance and HVAC-related installations. Sundance Energy inspired confidence and we are very pleased to have established a relationship with them.
I hired Sundance Energy Services to clean my gas fireplaces and in the process, we discovered a need to replace some parts in one of my gas fireplaces. Jordan came out to do the work and was extremely courteous and professional. With the recent supply chain problems, it took longer than expected to get the right parts, but Jordan and Sundance were on top of it every step of the way - keeping me informed and when it arrived, he returned promptly to install it. I was super happy with his work, now the fireplace is working like new! When he returned to install the parts, I asked if he was able to fit in my annual furnace servicing and filter change - and he did. The rate for that was extremely fair. It's so refreshing to find a company that knows the meaning of customer service and employs thoughtful and capable people like Jordan that you can trust.
I liked that Sundance is a home-town business and I've been driving by them for many years so I called them first when our old R22 based central AC system failed. I knew it needed a total replacement because of its age. A very nice lady answered the phone and said "Doug" would call us back. That was a month ago and we never heard from anyone. So, we had another company (Lifetime) replace everything. Maybe they'd be good if they worked but we'll never know now.
Had the luck of getting Jordan as my tech to come for an annual inspection of my heat pump and AC unit. Jordan was honest with positive attitude, completely professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and lucky with him in my home and working on my unit! Was understanding of my barking dog. If I had the opportunity I would request Jordan again.
Tim from Sundance Energy did a fantastic job! We had him come out for an AC unit on our rental property that had a coolant leak. He got it all fixed up in a few hours and the price was reasonable for what all he had to do. Sundance also did a big remodel job for us with a heat pump & two air handlers and their install crew also did a great job. Wonderful company to work with.
Jordan performed maintenance and cleaning of my two gas insert fireplaces. He was polite, professional and friendly. Very nice to work with and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Jordan!
Jordan was very professional, thorough, and explained every step of the process. He arrived on time. Price was reasonable for the work done. I will definitely call Jordan for HVAC services in the future.
Sundance tech Bryan has been out a couple times for maintenance, and this time when needed, to help us with replacing our tankless Navien water heater. Service and response times from the company we’re outstanding, as was Bryan’s help. Techs who installed were efficient, and did great work. Fair pricing! Recommend Sundance!
Gas fireplace repairs for 2 units. Excellent!!! Immediately had an idea of the problem, was spot on. Both fireplaces cleaned, switches repaired as well as blowers corrected, now working perfectly. Cleanup was like she had never been here, perfect. Friendly, professional and well within what I expected to pay for repairs. Relieved that the entire system did not need replacing. Everything was fully explained, I will definitely call them again for maintenance, and if needed, repairs.
We had Sundance out to replace our furnace and install an A/C Unit. We met w/ Curtis who walked us through all the options and outlined a plan that worked best for our usage and setup! He answered all our questioned and made sure we felt comfortable w/ the direction. On the day of installation the team showed up right on time. They had a few questions/recommendations for us and completed the installation in a day. At the end of the day they walked us through the entire system and again answered all of my questions. I couldn't recommend Sundance more for any of your HVAC needs :)
Michael Rierson from Sundance serviced my furnance and gas fireplace. I was very impressed with Michael's knowledge and excellent customer service. I had questions that he easily answered and he educated me on various issues with both the furnance and fireplace. He even helped me order new filters since my filter size is a little wonky. My fireplace has never sparked so beautifully. Thank you for the amazing service!
Bryan recently inspected our AC/Furnace and did a great job. Patiently answered questions and gave tips to improve performance. Would definitely recommend using Sundance in the future!
Heather was communicative and helpful with all of my questions, of which there were many. She went through all of the steps, visually, that I asked about to make sure I'm using the fireplace correctly. She was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this org and especially Heather.
I was eager to be a customer of Sundance Energy Services, but they made it impossible for that to happen. I requested an air conditioning installation quote and was told, "A customer service representative will be contacting you shortly to address your needs." I heard nothing for a week, so I called and followed up. They assured me that the person it was assigned to would follow up. I waited another week and heard nothing. I called again and was told the same thing. I called a third time, now 44 days since my original quote request, and was told the person would follow up. This was where I drew the line and had the overdue realization that my time was not being respected.
Jordan came to check on my direct vent gas fireplace today as my pilot light had blown out a few months ago. He was well dressed, extremely polite & very professional. I was immediately impressed. He took care to be tidy & vacuumed after he was done. He was able to clearly answer my questions about service & repair & what some possible options might be if I want to update my 20+ yr. old fireplace. I'll be getting more info I've asked for soon & hope to work further with Sundance Energy Services!! Thank you, Jordan
Sundance Energy Services did an excellent job of installing two ductless heat pumps this week at our house. We are returning customers of Sundance and their previous excellent service has gotten even better. We would like to thank Deanna, Curtis, and JD for their wonderful company leadership and installers John, Nick and Adam for their experience and professional work. In the words of the city building inspector, their installation work was very neat and above all code requirements. Thank you Sundance Team.
