I went through my home appliance warranty company for repair of my upstairs HVAC unit. After nearly a month of getting the run around with “their” contracted repair people, I was finally authorized to pick my own contractor. I contracted Extreme Climates and they sent a technician out quickly (Jim C), who diagnosed my issue and as soon as the home warranty approved the repair, he ordered the parts and had my HVAC up and running. He also told me about their maintenance plan. I am very impressed with Extreme Climate’s professionalism and expertise. They’ve definitely got my business from now on!!!

During the heat of summer, my A/C unit spontaneously went out and the inside of my house got to about 90 degrees! After calling several of the big name companies and put on a wait list of up to two weeks, I called Extreme Climates, who responded in 30 minutes. They were professional, efficient, and explained everything to my family on why the issue occurred and how to fix it if this were ever to happen again. I commended their response time and they advised that they believe in responding to help as soon as possible, even if it means working long hours, to keep their customers happy. As long as I live in this area, I will only use Extreme Climates for my HVAC services!

On 25 July 2022, I contacted this company to come out and fix my HVAC system. The dispatcher was proactive in telling me that there would be a $130 charge just for coming out (this charge is not offset by having your system fixed). The technician was here for approximately 1.5 hours, came in and said the system needed freon. I agreed, telling him to do whatever he needed to in order to fix the problem. I gave the system 24 hours to cool down the house. It never did. I contacted the company and informed them that the problem wasn't fixed. The technician from the company informed me the work wasn't "under warranty" and if I want them to come out and fix the problem I will have to pay them more. And if I was unhappy they didn't want my business anyway. This warning is for people who may need to have their HVAC systems repaired but are unfamiliar with this company. I highly doubt they have repeat business. I hope this reaches someone before they make the same mistake I did.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I do business with honest people that keep their word and back their work. This is 100% that company. I have over 24 years in the military and believe that good pay for good work that can be done with a handshake is how it should be. Extreme Climates does this. I had 2 A/C units, my furnace, and a tankless water heater installed. It was FLAWLESS and extremely well done. Everything works perfectly and the price was very fair for the systems purchased. Key to big systems is the quality of the installation, can't go wrong here. It was on time, well done, and they checked their work. If you have HVAC work to be done, go with this company. Amazing owner, amazing installers, and they do what they say without the games of trying to sell you more than you need. Would gladly give then 6 stars.

Disclaimer; I used to work here. This company is full of great people that act like a family and work hard. The boss, Chris, is a hardworking guy with family values and who treats his employees well. The price of the work is paid credence to of many of the technicians attention to detail and their deep knowledge. If you're on the fence I recommend you give them a shot.

The issue that I had with the company is the pricing and they do not respect their warranty. I got a warranty for 10 years but my A/C broke down in 6 when I asked about how much the pricing would be to fix it, they give us an extremely high price. When we brought up the warranty no one wanted to talk to us instead they had us call many numbers while still avoiding the question the whole time. Also, the pricing was extremely high to fix our A/C because when we checked for ourselves the price to fix what broke was doubled as they said it was only for their labor. Would not recommend to deal with this company they are not people friendly.

Extreme Climates should be the top of your list for HVAC needs. They installed the system in my new house and did an excellent job. The installers were professional and one of the most reliable trades during the build. Since moving in, we've had to call twice for minor issues that were fixed quickly by Jim. Both times Extreme Climates responded quickly and Jim diagnosed the issue within minutes. He was also patient with my talkative 4 year old while trying to check out our system. Extreme Climates not only installs quality and reliable brands, but they hire great people!

We have a warranty through this company for a unit they installed. We had no issues with the installation. Our property manager contacted them to evaluate a reported issue recently. They were supposed to report back for approval to do the work. They didn't. Instead we received a non-itemized bill for over $800 including work that should have been covered under the warranty. UPDATE: They have rectified the situation and our account reflects the correct work and totals. While I have updated to three stars I do recommend that you keep good copies of your paperwork and understand what you believe will be covered under any warranty.
