Chris was awesome! Friendly service and a good price. I called and within 30min the tech arrived. Also, Chris didnt just come by for 3 minutes and give me a bill. He educated me on proper HVAC care and offered tips and advice. My home airconditioning was back up and running in an hour. All around, great experience.
Clogged A/C drain. The water ruined laminate floor. Chris, the Tech, diagnosed and blew out the drain line, explaining everything he was doing and why. The price was reasonable. You can tell this guy likes his job. He really didn't mind answering questions. I think he said he had been fixing A/C's for 30 years. Maybe a family business. Give their office a call.
Great team! From the first phone call to the diagnosis and finally a new unit install we had a great experience. The technicians we’re very friendly and they quickly and cleanly installed the new A/C unit. Will use Mr. Comfort for all my HVAC concerns.
Outstanding company to work with. We’re with them for almost 20 years now. Friendly, professional, on time quality service. Brooklyn provides fast and friendly scheduling and support. All of their pros have taken care of our ac, gas furnace and heat pumps. Great prices and great value for the service. Most recently Jernon quickly identified issues with our ac, provided professional and sound options and installed a new unit with minimal time we were without ac in the recent heat. We trust them with seasonal service and all repairs.
Thank you! Your customer service was excellent. I appreciate the fact that the technician explained everything and gave me options. They provided courtesy calls prior to getting there as to no make me wait 2-3 hours for them to show up. I would definitely recommend them. Excellent company.
These folks do my regular hvac maintenance. When I called them in a panic about fallen heating duct and noisy nocturnal critters they rearranged schedules and made the repairs quickly. Did I mention that the price was excellent? If I could decipher the tech's name I'd offer specific kudos to them both. Join their membership program, it's worth it.
I picked this company from Yelp reviews and after comparing it to others this was the one! I actually called for my 81 year old father that lives in the Va Beach area. I live in MN so I decided to help out my old man by looking online and making some calls to get the best people out to his condo. He just thought his AC needed a quick servicing that would include some extra refrigerant. I spoke to the customer support rep BrookeLynn who explained to me about their products and services. Shortly thereafter, she set everything up and her customer service was grate! She was really sweet and understanding about me assisting my father from out of state. She communicated to me every step of the way until completion. The tech arrived earlier than normal due to a cancelation. Everything went well with the repairs. Thank you to everyone that made this a pleasant experience for me and most importantly my father!
We had someone from Mr. comfort come to our house about three weeks ago. He was professional, prompt, and very friendly. We would gladly work with him again. However, we paid $1500 to have a leak fixed on our AC unit and it’s back to not working again. These things happen! So we called Mr. Comfort after hours and left a voicemail saying that it wasn’t working and our 7 month olds room was 78 degrees and humid so we needed someone to come out and help fix it. There was no further guidance that if I left a voicemail I would be expected to stay home for the rest of the day, so we went out. I missed a few calls from a “no called ID number” but no voicemail. I called me. Comfort again to make sure I wasn’t missing calls from them and a woman named sherry picked up. She told me that they called, left a VM, went to our house, no one was there, so they left. I said sorry, but I didn’t receive a voicemail. She then repeated everything again, which was frustrating. I said I understood and asked if someone could come back- she said no…bc they had called, left a voicemail……etc. The conversation was very unprofessional and I cut her off to say that she told me that three times, so she quickly snapped and said “so what can I help you with?” I asked to be put on the schedule for tomorrow and she said they would try. I felt like I was talking to a toddler. In the future it would be nice to be told the expectations ahead of time, for a voicemail to have been left, and for someone to just say ok let’s get you back on the schedule. Now we have paid $1500, are stuck without AC with a baby, and don’t know if anyone will be here tomorrow.

Using for company location and normally the same tech works out nice for us but with getting different workers we can't trust them like we do the normal tech. They have not provided the same level of service

My air conditioner broke down during the heatwave. They came next day and went out of their way to make sure it was running well before leaving. And didnt bump up prices. The office staff was especially helpful.
Mr. Comfort is the best! I had a closing yesterday for a home Im selling. The buyer walked the house at 2:00PM and the AC was out (just my luck). We called the company that warrants the system and they told us next Wed. would be the soonest they could come. My heart sank. Thought for sure we were not closing on the property. I reached out to Mike at Mr. Comfort and he had a technician at the home within an hour and a half. Dave (tech) pulled up and assured me that he would fix the issue, no matter what. He had to work in 100* heat in the attic to get the drain line unclogged, but had the system back up and running in 30mins! Mr. Comfort saved the day BIG TIME. Cannot thank them enough! Superior service!!! Thank you!!!!
Great service. Mr. Comfort came out and serviced my broken hvac unit. The tech they sent out, Dave, was on time, and didn't mind me asking him a ton of questions while he was working. Super knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be calling them for any future needs.
We've had Mr. Comfort servicing all of our units in the office buildings Freedom Properties manage. They are dependable, and competitive in pricing. They are very responsive. We are happy with the relationship we've built over the years. Highly recommended.
We used Mr Comfort for 8 years on a service contract. They never had a checklist of what they were to check regularly. We've had AC issues for 5 years and they just kept replacing parts to the tune of 3k. The AC kept cutting off every summer when it got hot. Nobody could diagnose the issue. We finally got the entire unit replaced this month by another company and found out the compressor was bad.
Have been using Mr. Comfort for over 20 years. Mike Walker and his team always treat you like family, are friendly, prompt to your needs and reliable. I like the fact Mr. Comfort "gives back" to our community, assists the Va. Beach Technical and Career Education Center with community projects that create future HVAC professionals and hires from within our retired military community. When Mr. Comfort installed my new Goodman system, Mike sent over a team of mechanics, not just one mechanic and a helper. Prices are very competitive, service is excellent.
We use Mr. Comfort on all of our new homes, remodels and use their service for our rentals. We highly recommend their company!
