I tested my ac before the weather started getting warmer again, it didn’t turn on which was no shocking since we had it break 4 or 5 times the year prior. I googled locally owned ac repair and this placed showed up. I called and got someone out within 2 hours, he explained everything in great detail for 30 minutes, which we never had with any of the companies last summer. It was literally so amazing after all the frustrations we went through with 4 or 5 other places. 100% recommend
The heat went out in my mother-in-law's home, I called them and they were there in 90 minutes. Wonderful service, heat is back on, life savers! Could not be more thrilled with a HVAC company. Highly recommend!!!
Fantastic company for your heating and A/C needs. Kevin and Wes made the long drive down to the Outer Banks to replace my entire system. They were on time and greeted me with a handshake. I showed them where they could gain access to the attic space, and they got right to work. They tag teamed the job very efficiently even having time to talk with me about the new system that was being installed. When the job was complete, they checked to make sure everything was working properly, showed me how to use the thermostat and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them again for other heating and cooling needs.
Great company. Very please with the work. Cody came to my house after I scheduled the day before. Super friendly guy and very explanatory. I really value that. I will definitely be using Baja heating and cooling again if need be.
Best heating & cooling company out there! My HVAC went out yesterday and it was 90 degrees in my home. I called BAJA Heating & Cooling and they literally came out within 2 hours that day! Cody was amazing. Very professional and made sure everything was working properly before he left. He was the absolute best! Reasonably priced and honest work. I will definitely be calling this company again if I ever have another issue. GREAT JOB!!!!!!
BAJA Heating and Colling gets 5 stars from me. My air conditioning broke on a Tuesday night during a hot spell. By Wednesday morning, it was 85 degrees in my condo. I called BAJA Heating and Cooling and spoke with Courtney. She was very kind and patient and put me at ease, assuring me that they would take care of everything. She said she would have someone at my place between 10AM and noon that very day! Sure enough, Mr. Cody Loper arrived at 11:30AM. As soon as I started speaking with Cody, I knew I was in good hands. Not only was he friendly and courteous, but he was completely professional and very knowledgeable. He checked the unit, found and fixed the problem, and continued to take the proper readings until he was confident that the problem had been corrected. In addition, he carefully explained everything to me and patiently answered all my questions. I cannot say enough good things about BAJA Heating and Cooling, especially Cody Loper and Courtney. They are hands down THE BEST! From now on, they are the only ones I'll call for all my heating and cooling needs. THANK YOU, BAJA Heating and Cooling!
Repair for my ac was fast and efficient Brendan was very helpful.
I cannot say enough good things about this company. Our AC died at 5 PM on a 95 degree Friday night, and our regular HVAC company would not come until Monday. Given the unseasonably hot temperatures, we googled other companies and I gave Baja a call. Katie was AMAZING and kept in touch with me to make sure a tech could come out that night. Even when she had to leave the office to pick up her kids, she remained in touch throughout the night via text to keep us up-to-date on the technician’s status. James finished his scheduled work at 10 PM, and STILL CAME!!! He quickly diagnosed a fan issue and got our AC back up and running in no time. We talked about a long term fix, which is a part replacement, but even given the older age of our system, he told us that it’s still in excellent shape and there is no rush to replace it. This company has made me (someone who NEVER writes reviews) take to Google to express my gratitude. They have won my business for all heating and cooling needs in the future. Thank you, Baja!
What an amazing experience I had with this company! James came out today and did such a thorough inspection, diagnosed the problem, and made sure my issue was solved properly. He took time to explain his process and showed me photos of the areas that he was going to address. I have heat again and am completely confident that the work was done right. Highly recommend this company
I want to begin but expressing how amazing this company is! Very punctual & very professional! Very reasonable prices as well! Now for the huge part! Major thank you to James! James helped me by giving me a free second opinion once I shared the details of a prior diagnostic. My AC units motor failed Friday evening and my home was in the high 80s and low 90s all weekend! Come Monday, I found this company via a friend & I called & got in touch with a Technician named James. James promised me that he would visit to take a look at my unit Monday night & he stood by his word! James did not forget about me & made his visit in the rain & Lightning!!!! He was so very much dedicated to ensuring he stuck to his word. He was very knowledgeable & easy to talk to & most importantly, he did NOT try to make or suggest that I install a new unit. He knew the motor failed & attempted to fix the wiring in hopes that something could work. When we realized it didn’t & told me that he will search for a new motor the next morning & he absolutely did! James came by this afternoon to replace my motor & now the unit it running amazingly and my home is cooling down! I appreciate James so much and the fact that he got this part faster than any other HVAC company I’ve reached out to makes me even more grateful! Thank you so much James for helping me! I absolutely recommend this company for any heating and cooling repair! They will not disappoint!
I can't say enough great things about Baja Heating and Coolings, and James specifically! I had purchased a new thermostat, and installed it myself, but it wasn't turning on, and my house was getting hotter and hotter. I called Baja, and they sent out James in about an hour (which the other place I called wanted to arrive in like ten days). He determined that I had wired everything correctly, but somehow the furnace wasn't getting enough voltage to run it properly. He took the job very personal, and wouldn't stop until he figured out a solution to get my A/C running like it should. He was very meticulous with his work, and made sure everything was as it should be from top to bottom and was very reasonable with the price. I can't recommend James and Baja enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Excellent customer service from speaking to Courtni to set up the appointment, through James arrival and assessing the problem. There communication level was very thorough, convenient and professional. We all know that HVAC service can be expensive, and challenging to trust every company that yells “great customer service”! Well I can tell you that Baja was upfront and professional, the price is what it is which was competitive. James who was very sympathetic to our issue walked me through every challenge he encountered. He explained solution, options and cost. I am very pleased with the outcome and plan to use BaJa for all my AC needs!
***** IF I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD ***** For those people that complain about how transactional and slimy it can sometimes seem to work w/ businesses when you need something fixed, you NEED to use this company. Hands down, the type of service you appreciate and admire in the US of A! One of their master HVAC technicians visited our home for a consultation/quote this week. He was absolutely terrific! Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was informative, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. Greatly appreciate the superb service so far from this company! If we were staying in the VA beach area, we would certainly use them again!
Zach was awesome! Quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my gas furnace when heat was not working. Even showed up before scheduled time which is always a plus. In and out quickly. Definitely recommend and use BAJA!!!

I've never done this so I'm hoping I'm doing it right Baja heating and cooling came to my house yesterday because I was without heat for almost 2 weeks those boys didn't excellent job it took them all day which it usually takes 2 days to get it done but they stayed and got it done if I can give him a 10-star I would they're awesome I highly recommend them to anyone
Our 20yr old HVAC went out and was beyond repair. Within 48hrs Baja had new Trane equipment up & running. HIGHLY Recommend
Outstanding, knowledgeable, and thorough. I've been serviced on 2 different occasions; one for a failed air-condition situation, and two , a Generac 22KW install. Both support calls were 100% successful. The pricing and cost was much more reasonable than if I'd used someone else. Baja is now my "go-to" generator, heating and air-conditioning company; hands-down. Case # 1: I'm in a new resident home build with state of the art systems that were configured incorrectly. My home had reached 92 degrees Fahrenheit within hours. My office is at home which includes heat sensitive equipment. I contacted my heating and air conditioning installers and was put on a schedule a week out. Really? So I contacted Baja who responded to my call the same day and resolved a multi level problem within an hour. Case#2 - I'd lost power for 2 days due to a recent storm. Once again , my home was full of humidity and high heat within hours. I asked BAJA to research and install a new state-of-the-art Generac system. I wanted a fully automatic standby system installed "soup to nuts". The system was delivered to my door within 2 days and installed a couple of days after. They performed a thorough test successfully and a follow-up test 3 days after, to ensure a stable system. Everything went without a hitch.
Dan and Kevin endured extreme heat while installing a brand new heating and air conditioning unit. They worked tirelessly with great attitudes and smiles on their faces. They were on time and kept me updated throughout the day on their progress. I would highly recommend this crew and their company.
