I asked a simple question to a tech that came out, and he responded very poorly and unprofessionally. Typical Norfolk. Thank you for your response, and I will call you on Monday.
Called them about a gas leak in my crawl space. They came in did not give an estimate worked on the issue without consent, broke my water lines, and said it wasn't their fault. They were there all day and didn't fix the leak. Called another company and it was all done in a hour
i couldnt be happier with this company! thank you for always being able to work us in especially since our stuff seems to stop worknig dead summer or dead of winter.
Repair estimate to high and the solution would have not solved the problem. They wanted to replace an expensive item without the understanding of the real problem. They also said diagnostic charge was $89, but ended up being $100 per hour. Do not recommend metro for troubleshooting a Trane unit
They have some really sharp technicians but you will pay dearly for them. If you want it done right they're the only show in town but they know that they have a monopoly.
Very responsive. Quick appts. Tech very thorough and professional. They were recommended by someone I met from another business. We were discussing my issue's I was having with Russell's heating and Air after being a customer of Russell's for so long was shocked how their integrity has gone away. Metro Mech is now my service contract and I'm warning EVERYONE to beware of the change in Russell's business practices and to stay away and get2d opinions if a tech tries to tell you there's an expensive issue with your system. I tried posting my negative review on their page via Google but would not allow me to post so it's added here. Feel free to contact me and I'll send you docs and events that took place from Dec14-28th. They lost a loyal customer!
Great customer service and best price in town. I had a new A/C and water heater unit installed for a rental property and Cheryl was great to work with! Looking forward to working with the Metro Team in the future.
We have had such great experiences with Metro over the years. They always go above and beyond. Ryan did the inspection today, on both of our units. On time, super clean, very knowledgeable & customer service focused. We could not be happier with this team and their service!
Metro Mechanical’s equipment, service, technicians, and price is unmatched by any company in Hampton Roads area. After getting 10 quotes for a new central air system I chose MM....lowest cost, better unit (Trane) and it was installed in just a few hours! I since again got numerous bids and chose MM again for 2 tankless water heaters....I can”t recommend these guys enough...I wish there were more companies that offered other services that were like them!

We had a gas line leak that needed immediate attention. Cheryl was extremely helpful. She got a technician on site in less than two hours! Jason did a phenomenal job assessing the leak. He was clear, informative and reassuring. Metro was professional throughout the entire process. I wish there were more service businesses like this one!
Metro Mechanical is a full service mechanical/HVAC firm that does great work. They handle both of my properties for all mech service needs. Have used them for eight years.
Over the last 4 years Metro Mechanical has proven to be the most reliable contractor we have ever worked with. Donny is far and away the best representative Metro could ever have. His work ethic, the quality of his work and his people skills are simply top notch. I just really cannot say enough positive about Metro Mechanicals customer service. Thanks.
