Been a customer for 5 years and referred my mom last year to get some work done. I Had good service until last year and hers started to become shaky and then stopped. Now I see why. No service no calls but they are still taking money out her account for a service agreement which they obviously cannot honor because they have gone out of business and left their customers high and dry. Will be discussing with the bank and filing a complaint with the BBB.

Had a new HVAC system installed 2 years ago by this company. I've kept their maintenance agreement in force, and shortly after I paid $267 for the year, I found out that they went out of business with no notice to their customers. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. What a rotten company!

SHADY COMPANY! DO NOT USE!!!!!! paid for a service plan and they broke my system, which i had to pay more to another company to fix have told me they'd pay me my money back many times but never have filed with BBB and hybrid never responded

Permanently out of business (apparently). All of their calls are getting directed to another company. I have a new system that they installed less than a year ago that already needed to be repaired because it was installed so poorly, but since they aren't answering calls, I had to pay out of pocket to fix it. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB, just as other reviewers have noted. I paid for a "two year worry free labor" warranty that is now worthless. I genuinely wish I had used a more reputable company. Now I am stuck paying thousands of dollars to fix their shoddy work.

This company install our new ac unit in the beginning of the spring this year and the ac was not working properly after installation was completed. A technician came to assessed the problem we were having because ac was not cooling the house. He said they need it to come back and fix the air ducts because they were installed improperly. He never called back or set up an appointment. AC was installed in the spring took several weeks because they always have a last minute emergency job to do, however they told us everything was supposed to be ready in 4 days. Still waiting for them to call us back . Bad costumer service, rude employees. Not recommending this company at all.

I went with Hybrid Air based on the services that were offered to me. I promised to clean my air ducts by Neil Jordan downstairs then once I signed with them I never heard back from him, there was no follow up or anything on his end, I also spoke with Jon, I do not know his last name, in regards to this he did nothing to help the situation just gave me the run around, I also called the office as well and they never got back to me. The experience I got from Neil Jordan was awful he is a dishonest sales rep that will offer you services just to get your business! Update: 11/8/22 I received a call to do the maintenance my appointment was yesterday, I received a reminder email and no one showed up or called. I will never do business with this company ever again. Once they have your money they are done with you, it is not worth the headache to keep chasing after them.

I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and then I had to file a complaint through Home Advisor and Home Advisor is trying to get them to go through mediation/arbitration right now. I may have to sue them in civil court which I will pursue. Had ducts completely replaced by them but one side of the house the ducts did not bring the heat or the air to… installed in February/March 2022 and it’s November 2022 and no one has come to repair the issue. In October they sent out a great master repairman and he knew exactly what the issue was. Before he came out they had sent 3 repair people out and they didn’t know what was wrong with the ductwork. Apparently the ducts on one side of the house are too small and the ductwork was not hung which I believe is a code violation. They hire people who don’t know what they are doing and that is what is causing all their problems and constant rework. I got a feeling they are going to go out of business soon.

STAY AWAY!! YOU'LL REGRET GOING WITH HYRID AIR!! We used Hybrid Air to install a brand new Central AC system two years ago. We chose them because they "took pride in their customer service and were very responsive." They were not the cheapest, but we value customer service. The system broke within 2 years and the technician who came out to look at it said it was "improperly installed." Hybrid Air said they would not fix it and stopped returning my calls. I had to pay another company $1200 to fix the unit. 2 Years after a brand new system and I had to spend another $1200!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Hybrid Air installed a brand new Trane system 2 years ago and it broke this past summer during a heat wave. They sent a technician out, diagnosed the issue, and assured me it was fine. The system broke again a couple weeks later during another heat wave. The technician came out again and stated that the overall system was broken due to IMPROPER INSTALLATION. Hybrid Air said I would need to pay over $1000 to fix the issue. When I said I did not think it was justified for me to pay that amount for an issue caused by their own installation they stopped returning my calls and left my family and pregnant wife to figure out how to fix the situation. I tried to meet them somewhere in the middle and they would not return any emails or calls. I was more than patient but 3 weeks of no response I have reached my limit. PRAY your system doesn’t have an issue because they will try and take even more money from you or leave you and your family to fend for yourselves!

My family had gotten a new AC installed and not even half a year yet it already broke. We spent more than a week in heat inside that house during this summer season. Numerous times we were told they would come a certain day at certain time but none have happened. My family is full of people with medical issues and the heat is making is worse. Not only that our electric bill may go up after having to plush in so many fans during the entire day to keep our pet safe in the house. I even burned my feet a little on the hot floor. The heat is affecting our medical issues and our daily lives because of poor service.

Absolutely the worst home owners experience ever! Replaced heat and ac units and all under house duct work and a vapor barrier. Started 9/21 and fought until 3/22 to get completion. They never pulled initial permits and I had to pursue. Following their signing off I had an inspection , I called the city and got an inspector, it failed, and they had to bring to code. They had to rig the unit to fit, took 6 months to get it done with constant lack of communication , unkept promises, etc. Today I had to call them back due to cold air blowing out from my foundation vents and the tech says they need to pull the unit to find and seal the leak. They apparently tried this before and it has not worked. The floor under the house is sweating at the new ductwork and that is a whole other issue! Their annual preventative maintenance earliest date is January. This is a 24k investment and absolute nightmare. Avoid this company! NO STARS!

Hybrid messed up my geothermal system and I had to pay another company to fix it. Hybrid said months ago they would refund what I paid them ($270 for a service contract) but they still haven’t. I’m now filing a claim with the better business bureau

They tried to charge me $500 to replace an AC capacitor. At most, a new capacitor costs $40 and installation shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. Usually, HVAC companies charge less than $200 for parts and service for capacitor replacement. Since I was already committed to paying $90 for the technician to come out, I ultimately agreed to a “reduced” price of $400. Still at least TWICE what is a fair price. Obviously, I won’t be using Hybrid in the future or recommending them to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID! I cannot strongly enough not recommend this place! They installed a tankless hot water heater after our tank busted. They forgot to mention a part we needed in order to not wait several minutes for hot water every time we turned it on, installed incorrectly, forgot to order parts, ordered the wrong parts, installed plumbing incorrectly resulting in a FLOOD of my garrage and this 2 day project took MONTHS. Management refused to take or return my calls for Months after the initial call that pipes installed incorrectly busted (support staff just apologized for them) and the owner never called me back after repeated messages. Staff admitted that the "real Plummer" we were supposed to have took another "much higher paying" job and the guy we got didnt know what he was doing AT ALL. This was a headache, a total nightmare, and I never even recieved a call back, much less any offer of compensation or even an apology. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Technician arrived on time and was friendly. My bill was $499 for adding Freon and cleaning out water drain pipe on ac. Seemed a little high to me considering the job took only about 75 minutes.

My initial experience with this company was excellent. The installers are professional and knowledgeble and installed my system ahead of when they promised. They stayed for over 12 hours to get the job done. So why 2 stars? The new air handler was larger than my two attic access points. On the one in the laundry room they removed the trim and broke the trim; it was too small to use. They then determined the hallway access was needed. In order to make it work the trim was removed and the ceiling was cut larger to accommodate the air handler. They placed cardboard in the holes and promised to come back and fix the two openings. I have submitted photos to their drywall company over a week ago. It has been 3 plus weeks with no resolution. They never call back as promised and i must hunt them down. It has turned a great experience into a poor one. All issues have been resolved.

Tyler C. did a great job replacing our water heater! We called Hybrid Air a day ago and the next morning he got to work. We were in a time pinch with the sale of our home, the work was done fast, professionally, and high quality. Another Plumber in Norfolk quoted us 3X the amount to do the same job, they also charged a fee to get an estimate. Hybrid Air did the estimate for free and did not over charge us.

Tech Dominic Calmelat is very knowledgable, courteous and friendly. He knew exactly what to do to keep my system running top notch.
