Thank full and grateful for their prompt service. We installed all the AC and heat units this year, very professional and thorough in their work. A clean and complete job. Today when the temps are extremely cold (12/24/22), they responded within 30 mins and checked the unit and cleared the frozen pipes and enhanced for future purposes. Great team! Jason worked with me for quite a while on design and quotes and offerred some great advice. They ultimately installed two new heat pump systems. The crew was meticulous, respected my home and were great to work with. Very happy with my choice to use them.

My father relies on Jason and his team for resolving heating and air issues at the various group homes he oversees, and I am so thankful he set up an appointment recently when my unit was no longer cooling properly during the hottest week in August. WOW!!! I am almost looking forward to more AC problems so I can call West End Htg & Air - perfect customer service! They called to confirm my appointment then called and said they were coming as scheduled, the “other “ company didn’t show or call I had to call them!!! Spent time explaining my options, checked my system, didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need!
Jason came out on a Saturday the day we called him and got our AC up and running in no time. We appreciate his speedy arrival and great work!
Stan was awesome. He arrived way ahead of schedule, did his troubleshoot and gave me a definitive response as to what the issue was. The rest is up to AHS. Thanks Stan for your professionalism. *UPDATE* I was told that I had a bad compressor and needed refrigerant. I got a second d opinion and was told that my compressor was not bad at all. I didnt have refrigerant all of a sudden because the system was purged due to tampering with the main something pin for the pressure test. The ONLY issue with my unit was the fan. The tech showed me where my capacitor was disconnected along with my fan. I was told WEM has a habit of "making" problems for profit. This particular tech has went to jobs that WEM responded to initially to correct what they have done. Of course this was the one time I allowed any tech to do what they are supposed to without me being right there. Had I been, I would have let DEQ know immediately behind the refrigerant. I had to pay considerably less to have ther nonsense they caused redone but the end result is the AC is now working . I will be contacting the BBB be ause someone needed to reimburse me for the cost of refrigerant. The fan is on me. NEVER AGAIN will West End Mechanical set foot on my property. Lesson learned . Thanks a bunch Chatty Stan. I get it now.
Professional and quick to respond, West End Heating and Air really came through when we needed them. The technician was incredibly competent, took the time to make sure I understood what the issue was and exactly what he would do to fix it. These guys are the best. They answered my phone call on the first try - other companies didn't even call me back when I left messages. They were professional and timely. To me, the best part about their service was how they explained everything going on. I didn't feel in the dark like I have with other repair services. Really excellent value. Five points, five stars, for West End.
Jason was absolutely amazing. Our 2nd floor unit went out late Saturday and he responded to our call within 30 minutes Saturday night. He arrived at our home at 7:00 am and had our unit fixed in no time. We have worked with WEHA in the past and their response time and service is ALWAYS amazing!
Where to begin? It was a hot, and humid day in Virginia. Of course that’s when the air conditioner stops pumping out cool air. I called 2 other companies and never heard from them but, who responded to my inquiry within minutes of entering my info online? Jason from WestEnd Heating and air. He came promptly and fixed our system within minutes quickly diagnosing a failed capacitor. Did I mention this was on a Saturday at 6:30pm. Less than 3 hours later we are enjoying frosty cold AC. Thanks again Jason. I’m calling you for all my HVAC needs from now on.
West End recently replaced an old heat pump. They started the project ahead of schedule to make sure it was finished before a predicted snow storm. I was impressed with the knowledge and promptness of the installers.
About two years ago they replaced my heating unit. Sometime later my house got hit by electrical storm and I replace my thermostat with an ecobee. The other day for whatever reason we had a power outage and ecobee did not come back on. I made contact with Jason the owner we started chatting next thing you know he said I’ll be right over I realized it was 930 at night. Jason came out replaced my thermostat and he went on his way. Their service is amazing. The unit was under warranty but he still came out at 930pm!! Amazing group of people!!
Recently purchased my home about 3 months ago and lost power to my heating during the first snow of the season. After calling other shops with no one being able to see me for days, I called West End. The person who took my call was very understanding of my situation and was able to fit me in same day. But even better, the tech (Jason) showed up within an hour! Jason came in and was quickly able to pinpoint the issue and began working to get my heat up and running again. Through his entire visit, he was walking me through his process, giving me pointers and best practices (definitely nice for a new homeowner). Very professional, made sure he did everything the right way to ensure that I was good to go. He was done as quickly as he got here at a very reasonable price. Good thing they are right around the corner because they just earned a customer for life!
They did a fantastic job. Techs were polite and efficient. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up the area before they left.
The heat went out in my shop leaving several employees quite cold. I called West End Heating and Air and they responded to my business a and corrected the issue within two hours. Unbelievable!
I had great service ! Called at 9am, was told they would be out same day, service tech called at 12:45 said he was on his way, got there at 1pm, was done and out the door by 1:30. The price was better than the "bigger outfits" in Richmond. I would highly recommend them to anybody with HVAC issues.
