My A/C unit quit. Milestone said I needed to replace the unit for $15k. Called Darrell at Shurtemp for a second opinion. He replaced the Capacitor and it started working. My A/C has continued working since Summer of 2020. I really appreciate an honest A/C & Heat company, like Shurtemp.
Very happy with my new install. I had a new a/c and furnace installed. Attic was left clean and they were finished quickly. I have used Shurtemp in the past for replacement capacitors and a blower fan and was equally happy with the prompt service.
I had an AC Coil replaced by Darrell on my downstairs unit. He was very responsive and got the job done quickly. Afterwards I requested a quote on replacing my entire upstairs system because it's oversized and crack in the heat exchange. I received a reply asking on when I needed it, It was late summer/early fall so I wasn't in a rush yet. Not a peep since. His voicemail still works. Now I understand why it was so easy to get him to extend his labor warranty. I'll give him a few stars just because he got the first job done, and it still works. Would be 5 if he had the courtesy to respond.
Customer service was great while I was in the process of buying the AC unit. Once installed and payment was done, No customer service. Third party installers were used who did not clean up, left trash in my attic, When I sent Darrell pictures, he just said I am sorry but made no effort to fix it. I was told the unit will accommodate a 4 inch filter, it does not. When I asked Darrell to come and check it so I can use a 4 inch filter, he did not come by, just said the " you must have bought a wrong filter". Good prices but no customer service!!
Shurtemp heating and Air Condition is great he is on time. He is very good knows what to do has fixed both of my A/C units. He pulls his shoes off when he enters your house. Whatever your needs are I would recommend him a 100%
