Would rate 10 stars if I could! Mr. Childress and his team were great. The level of professionalism, responsiveness, honesty, and pride in work was refreshing. Our A/C wasn't sending cool air right before the 4th of July... Mr. Childress quickly came out, correctly diagnosed the underlaying issues, took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions and had us fixed up in no time. Couldn't be happier with our experience. If you need anything for HVAC, give Mr Childress a call. Highly recommend!
My a/c was not sending cold air into the house. I called Five Star and they came out two hours after my call. The problem was identified and fixed quickly. Also, the level of professionalism and quality was some of the best I’ve ever had! Thank you Five Star, I will only be doing business with you and recommending you to everyone! Jason C

Our thermostat kept blowing a fuse late afternoon on a Thursday. He gave my husband a couple things to troubleshoot over the phone and when those didn’t work he showed up 30 min later on his way home. He found the issue and had the upstairs cooking in short time.
Great service. My unit stop working in the hot summer month of July. 5 Star came out and solve my A/C problem. Brand New unit installed, explained how to maintain and operate the unit. House is very comfortable and I’m very Happy with the service and new A/C. I would recommend 5 Star to all my Family and Friends. Thanks 5 Star!!!!!
"D" does what he says he will do, how he says he will get it done and when he says it will happen. Pricing upfront. Five Star isn't happy until you're happy. Highly recommended.
This company is rightfully named 5-Star! I've used them several times for full HVAC replacement and installation to minor maintenance of a loud noise the unit is making. Mr. Childress runs his company with integrity. He will shoot straight with you, his pricing is very fair, and he is prompt with scheduling. I've recommended him several times and I hear the same, great feedback across the board. I highly recommend you call him.
Five Star is hands down the best AC company in DFW. The customer service is top notch, the advice is always honest, and the quality is excellent. We will only ever work with this company for HVAC.
I have used 5 star for last 7 years. Very professional and quality service where customer is treated with respect. 5 Star always presents ways to save money, is clear how long parts should last, what is short term vs long term fix and lets customer decide. Pricing is better than competitive and a fair market average charged because of superior service. Punctual, reliable, responsive, professional and high quality work. I have multiple homes in the area and use 5-Star exclusively. They really care about not leaving someone out in the heat, or cold and will work to get you going no matter the time or day of the week. It is a veteran owned business, and while its nice to support that, I do it because the service is absolutely the best.
Five Star Heating and AC have replaced both of my AC units. Additionally, I use them for the yearly maintenance and check ups. What I appreciate the most is that they have never been late nor missed an appointment. In fact, I have called once at 7 am with an issue and they arrived with in an hour, in between jobs, to check out the issue. This is a very customer first business and they have tried very hard to be accommodating. I refer this company to anyone needing AC work.

Five Star replaced both my heating and air conditioning systems. They did a phenomenal job and gave a me a great price. The whole crew was very knowledgeable. D will come out and give you an honest evaluation of your issues and how to solve them. Everyone I have referred them to has been very happy with their service. He was able to keep our aircraft carriers systems running and he can do the same for your house. I would not let anyone else take care of my HVAC needs.

My neighbors have all had great experiences with Five Star and even posted about them on Facebook, so I knew who to call when my AC started blowing hot air overnight. They showed up quickly after I called, diagnosed the problem and I was enjoying cold air within an hour of their arrival. I rarely write reviews, but had to share my great experience with Five Star today.
He did a great job installing my A/C and heating system. I will definitely refer him to ALL my friends and family.
Mr. Childress has helped use out starting in 2019 with offering good advice, fair repair cost and responsiveness, and when it was time to get a new unit he was cost effective and did great work. He knows his stuff and his crew does a great job. While dealing with an AC is never ideal, he makes it a good experience in the end. Highly recommended in the Wylie/Murphy Area.
Although my A/C worked just fine, I scheduled an appointment to have it serviced. When Mr. Childress arrived (and he arrived right on time), he asked a few questions and began working. After about an hour, I was prepared to hear that my A/C required some unnecessary additional repairs. But quite the contrary, it became very apparent to me that Mr. Childress took his time to ensure the job was done thoroughly and correctly. The cost did not vary from the quote he provided when I made the appointment. Mr. Childress is very skilled and extremely professional. I highly recommend this company.
