I just had Ewing Air Conditioning come out and install a new AC unit in my house. This was a great experience from the first phone call to the finished installation. Omar was the lead installer. He was on time, polite, efficient and very professional. David the owner came out to check on the progress and make sure everything was going smoothly. They allowed me to inspect all the work and explained and educated me on my new system. I would highly recommend.
We just had an AC system installed by Ewing Air. Hands down, this is one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. David responds very quickly and he’s been in business for so long that he is extremely knowledgeable. I’m extremely impressed with the quality of the new A/C system.
Ewing A/C did a great job with replacing my old/failing unit. I reached out via the form on the website, and David called the next day and took the time to discuss the issues and fully explain his recommendation. His team arrived on schedule, and were very professional throughout the install. They did a fantastic job overall, and I'm very pleased with the results. At the end of the install, David walked me through the warranty registration process and answered all my questions. Ewing A/C made it a very simple and painless process!
Professional Service!! Omar replaced my Furnace and Coil in a timely manner. The guys are very professonal in their work and they also gave us advices on how we can prolong the lifespan of our unit! David is very professional and honest. As most hvac companies told us to change the whole AC unit, he recommended a more efficient way for us to save money without compromising our AC. And we like that he can be messaged anytime and he replies promptly! We are very happy to work with them!
After an impressive 20 years of use, my old AMANA system was on it's last legs. Today David, Omar and crew came out and installed two new Amana units (upstairs/downstairs) and did a fantastic job. They were right on time (9am), meticulous in their work (perfectionists), and got done about 2:30pm. What impressed me the most is that this install looks so much better than the original builder's install; and not just cosmetically, they took the time to properly seal off and organize pipes, wires, and filters with top quality equipment and workmanship. My system is ready to face this crazy Texas weather and keep me and my family comfy for years. Great job Ewing Air team!

We recently had our "big box" HVAC company that we've been using for a few years out to do a spring tune-up/maintenance on our out-of-warranty system. Unfortunately, they discovered a refrigerant leak (among other creeping issues). As is typical (in my experience) with large companies, they immediately dispatched a salesman to talk numbers for various repair and replacement options. Through experience with both online research as well as talking to family members that recently replaced their systems, I knew the numbers I was quoted were comically bogus. I informed them I would be getting other quotes. I did a quick online search for other highly rated HVAC companies near me, and Ewing was one of the first results (almost 500 reviews at an average of 4.9 stars at that time). I gave him a call. David Ewing personally chatted with me about what was going on with my system. After collecting a few basic facts about my home and current system, he gave me a quote for both partial and full system replacements. I decided on a full replacement given my system's age and since the quote was comparatively so reasonable. I particularly appreciate that Mr. Ewing was willing to give a quote over the phone, and that he did not pressure me to make an immediate decision. Many HVAC companies will not give phone estimates which means you need to make an appointment, stay home from work to wait for someone to come out, and endure a pushy sales pitch (I'm sure that's the reason why they want to give a quote in person...) The installers arrived early morning on the scheduled day and immediately started to prep the work areas. Omar headed up the crew; he was courteous and professional. He was also willing to drop whatever he was doing at the moment to answer questions. AMAZING! Ewing was the best! It’s not always that you have the owner of the company sit down in your living room and take the time to explain options. Everything that was promised was delivered as stated and more. Mr. Ewing and Omar were superb. Omar the crew chief was friendly and extremely careful with our home during the installation process. Omar was also helpful in answering all my questions and explaining what was being done. Ewing and the crew made everything simple and easy! I truly recommend Ewing for your A/C repair or new install! David Ewing came out in the freezing rain and fixed my 3 and a half old heater for free! He worked with me over the phone to troubleshoot the problem and isolated it before ever seeing the system. Great customer care, very knowledgeable and extremely fair!! Highly recommend Ewing Air Conditioning & Heating LLC!!!
I called David at Ewing to get an estimate/repair for a coil replacement. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to come same day to give the estimate. Then got us in quickly for the replacement. Made sure that I knew about my system by the time he left. He is super competitive when it comes to price, but can’t get better quality than him, Omar, and crew. I have found our AC company and we won’t be going anywhere else. This team really cares about the customers first. Thanks for taking care of us David, Omar, and crew!
Ewing Air performed a auality install of an 18 SEER heat pump at a very reasonable and competitive price. Even added dampers included in the cost to balance air flow. As other reviewers have stated, you won't regret including Ewing Air as one of your quotes.
I had trouble with my water heater so they came up in my search on Google. The guy tells me “sorry we are an HVAC company” he then calls me back twice just to make sure I don’t higher an HVAC guy to do the work because they are not licensed. He then tells me to wait 30 minutes and he will get a recommendation for me. Who cares? Why waste your time? unless money isn’t your top priority. I didn’t use them for HVAC but I’ll sure consider it in the future.
David Ewing is the man! Very responsive and price is reasonable. Instead of charging me fee to look at it, he took his time to teach me a few things and run through troubleshooting. Crew was respectful and professional. Thank you!
I purchased 16 seer AC system from Ewing and they delivered an exceptional service. Not only the price was reasonable, but I got whatever was spoken to me before starting the job. Thank you David and Omar for the wonderful job you have done. UPDATE: This is an update after more than three years. Our AC system stopped working on Saturday and we let David know about it. He was all booked until Tuesday but he said he would do his best as soon as he could. He showed up on Sunday morning and identified the issue to be a faulty Gas valve. We had to wait until Monday to get a replacement from the TRANE company. On Monday morning, David got the replacement and started working right away. All was done under thirty minutes and now we are back to comfort in this very cold weather condition. The fee charged was very reasonable and David was very compassionate for the little ones at home.Thank you Ewing, Thank you David!
Update 2022: Had to call David a few times to get some weird issues with the furnace where it was refusing to start before 10 am. David followed up everyday and tried out replacing a few things before replacing the board that finally fixed the issue. The warranty was completely honored and I can't imagine getting this level of service and personal connection from any of the HVAC companies around. Highly recommend. I got the best quote from David compared to all other quotes which I got from other dealers. He was straightforward and spent enough time to help me understand what's needed and the various kinds of systems which could be installed. Once I confirmed his crew was here in 2 days to start the process. Omar, was right here on time and started removing the old system. They were done by 5 and now we have a nice 20 seer system with a ecobee thermostat with great warranties. Hoping to have a nice and comfortable summer from now.
I called, asking if this is Ewing Air Conditioning & Heating, he said NO and hung up on me, then I called back, he was very rude, saying where I'm calling from, I said corporate office in Southern California, all he wanted to know was how I was going to pay, I said we'll pay credit card, Zelle, Venmo, all he said was credit card over the phone. Then it was $75 service fee. 5 star? not so much. I don't think he really wanted our business.
We had a very nice experience, as David inspected our Air Conditioning & Heating systems and gave us advice for maintenance free of cost. Very helpful information to New Home buyers
My AC stopped working and I called Mr. David to help me diagnose the problem. We found out there was an issue with the evaporator coil. Within 3 hours he had found the issue, and had his guys replace the evaporator coil without any issues. Now I’m sitting comfortably in my living room with the AC on 68 degrees😊 I couldn’t be more happy with my service!
