We appreciated a prompt response coming out on a holiday so my family could be comfortable. Second time and will be our go to for a third time and beyond.
This company was referred to me by a building contractor. He does a wonderful job and will do followups if there is a question. No ghosting. Fair prices and professional. They still answer the phone in person and appreciate the business. They replaced or unit last year. I also had them come back for the yearly check. Great company!!
Our AC has just not been cooling properly since a recent power outage last. It had struggled to get the house cooler than 80 degrees, which has made for some pretty sleepless nights. We had KAC Express come out and they replaced the air handler and now it is cooling nicely. I filled out their online form on a Tuesday night and the owner called me shortly thereafter to schedule a visit for the next day. The repair guys were prompt and professional and finished the job the same day. The owner called again that evening to make sure we were happy. It was not a cheap repair but their price was lower than their competitors. Highly recommend!
Trung and his crew were very responsive and quick. Trung made sure we were taken care of. He left a large size portable AC unit with us to help keep us cool until a new unit was installed. From call to install was 4 days. That's as fast as I've seen. Competitive fair pricing in comparison with other local companies. He even came out to check on my new install a few days later. Top notch and trustworthy company Here is the timeline: - called Friday morning and was advised a technician could be there between 3-5. - was recalled appx 1:30 and advised that the technician could be a little earlier, would that be ok? Confirmed the earlier time - technician arrived appx. 2:30 - appx 2:45 was advised what the issues were with our unit. 3:15 had an estimation. Told the technician I need to talk it over w/ my husband - 4 ish called the main number and let them know we wanted to move ahead with inputting the new unit. They could not verify that they could do it Saturday but would try. - 10am sat morning confirmed to get installed that day -12:15 arrival - New AC installed by 3pm In less than 24 hours we had a new unit. In this summer heat, all we f us being cranky, and not having slept for a few days bc of our old unit not cooling, I can’t thank this company/ man enough for his help. The price we got was economical, but more over, they were communicative, on time, professional and kind.
I contacted what I believe to be the five most recognized HVAC companies in the Spring & Woodlands area for a estimate of repair. I have experience in HVAC and knew what had to be done. Two companies came out the same day, and the other three worked from detailed pictures, and information I provided. Three of the companies indicated a flat rate (varied) for my evap coil replacement and it's supply plenum. Those same three recommended what I believe to be lower quality universal replacement brand. Mr. Trung of KAC, came out, looked over my system, and while fighting off numerouse calls and texts through our meeting, quickly put together a quote for replacement. The price was tied with the lowest I had received over the phone, and with using name brand products instead of lower quality ones. His quote was relatively simple, and I then asked comparatively to another quote, what specific line items he would perform. He assured me all the detailed line items provided on the other quote would be done with their service, and that seemed to be typical items of this repair. (I would have preferred the items listed out.) I took him for his word and a handshake, and I was not even in the slightest disappointed. Generally, the owner has all the enthusiasm and professionalism you want, and the crew is a different story. That was not the case. His two-man crew showed up next day (a little late) but went right to it, laying tarps, gathering tools, and starting the breakdown. Throughout the whole process, they were careful, secured lines, attention to minor details, and kept their area clean. I felt like I got really good service, at a really good price. I received a follow-up call from Mr. Trung to make sure I was happy, and a few days later the service letter for the warranty. I will definitely use KAC again and I highly recommend them. I received quotes from $3k to $5k.
KAC was quick to respond: called on Monday morning and they were able to send a technician in the afternoon to diagnose the problem. The technician was very knowledgeable and honest to weigh in different options. After deciding to replace the condenser coil, Mr Trung stopped by in the evening to further check specifications. The unit was then replaced on Thursday and they kept the job site clean. Mr Trung also took care of warranty registration and follow up to make sure the new unit is working properly. Great customer service, highly recommended.

We needed to have the coils replaced on both AC units. KAC arrived within 1 hour of our call for visit. Following evaluation (which we had been monitoring with them for about 18 months), it was time for the repair to be completed. We could have had completed same day but because of scheduling on our part, did following day. All was perfect and professional by all involved from beginning to finish!
Great job and great price. I called KAC as my regular service company had quoted a strong price for coil replacement. KAC were fast, did a super clean job and a great price by comparison. They are now my new HVAC contractor 😀
KAC Express installed a new system for me. Trung answered all my questions and concerns and gave me a fair price. The install crew was great. They were professional, kept things protected, did a fantastic quality install, answered all my questions throughout, and showed me things I was curious and concerned about as they worked throughout the day.
I called KAC about a problem with my upstairs Trane unit which needed a condenser replacement. They came out, evaluated my situation and system including past repairs and replacements. They explained the pros and cons of replacing a component versus replacing the system. They were very honest in their evaluation and offered me a solution that was a good balance between getting the system going and getting all of my money out of the system components that were not broken. Their prices were competitive and I will be using them for other AC needs in the future.
Trung is extremely knowledgeable and great at his craft. My rent house had an AC problem and he was able to go out same day and had the problem fixed soon thereafter. To keep my tenants cool, he even did some things above and beyond and didn't even charge me to do so. KAC really saved the day and made me look great by his quick actions. Prices are very reasonable as well! With KAC, I know I'm in great hands and I will be using him on all of my properties.
I called and they came out within an hour! Guy diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes and the next day my AC was fixed. Definitely will be using these guys for any future problems with my Heating and or AC!
I experienced excellent service provided by KAC Express. I was having issues with my AC and heating for my home and gave these guys a call. They were very professional, knowledgeable and quick to address the issues I was having. Installation of my new system was done efficiently and without any mess left over for me to clean up. I would absolutely recommend this company for your HVAC needs.
Overall, I am satisfied with KAC's service. John explained in detail why my furnace was not operating optimally and for my family's safety it was best to install a new one. The installers were courteous and did the job quickly. It was also a plus to meet Mr. Trung who came by to inspect and make sure everything was right.
Great service! They came out and helped repair my AC in less than 12 hours in the summer and also portable AC units to help ease the burden. Professional, quality service, and great customer care. 10/10 would recommend
Our AC had been fixed a few times and after 30 years of service (original to house) it finally required replacement. We had looked around, gotten several quotes, and they were all virtually within a few hundred dollars of each other. Since the price was within ‘the range’ we asked about service next, my cousin, who also used KAC, had a positive experience — and had zero issues with his AC after it was installed, we decided to go with them. (After talking to several friends who used various companies did not have that experience at all!) They were incredible. Mr. Trung showed up the day before to get payment, and verify what they would be installing, and gave us a rundown of what to expect. They showed up the next day on time, tarps to keep the area clean, they installed the unit, and when they left the place was clean, and you barely knew they had been there. We had the unit installed mid-April along with a new thermostat, and a quick lesson on the thermostat. It’s been perfect since (it’s now early July). Our unit replacement was the full unit, both the AC/Heat. Our AC bill is slightly lower. I’d recommend this company to anyone installing a new AC. (Since we have 2 units, I will be using them for the second one). They were very professional, kept to the schedule and prompt, installation was done well - a trifecta that’s hard to achieve in this industry. 5 stars hands down. *Update* We just had our 2nd unit replaced. (It still worked but was limping along, it was original to the house-as a transplant I was terrified it would stop working on the hottest day of summer) Again-incredible service. The installation guys are awesome and second to none. They arrived early, installed our second unit (both heat and AC) put down tarps, installed our thermostat, and were fast. My husband and I have always used KAC Express for all our services. Last night, the owner came by to check out my unit after my husband noticed the AC not working properly. It was not cooling inside my home, and the heat began to rise despite the sun going down. I was at work during the time and my husband sent me the good news of how Mr Trung was able to fix our AC unit last night. I am very greatful for him and his team team for being attentive and committed in helping us. I have small children at home and I appreciate all the hard work that was done.
