Yahkeem Washington came today to service our unit, within minutes of inspection he saw that the unit itself was fine but the plumbing to our furnace was the problem. He walked us through the process of getting it repaired and the costs of everything. I highly recommend Berkeys and can say that Mr. Washington is an amazing employee!!
All aspects of our experience with Berkey’s was amazing. The customer service in the initial call; the scheduling and explanation of costs of service and specials; as well as the actual service being done. The technician did an amazing job, thorough and well versed. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, how he would do it, and why he did it. Then explained how our issue happened, what could prevent it from happening again, and explained how the system works and what to look out for in the future. Even showed us our pipes on camera and explained what was going on and what we were looking at. 20/10 and Ricardo is an incredible asset to the company and the industry.
Ethan was extremely professional and informative. Very quick will following up on my repairs and transparent with what needed to be done. Highly recommend.
This is the third time we’ve used Berkeys, so that should tell you something regarding our confidence in them. This time it was an emergency—a water heater failed. Ricardo showed up fast and he stopped the water from doing any serious damage. They are extremely well organized. I thought their prices were great too.
When having a plumbing issue I always cringe because I know it's gonna cost and that's why I put off having my low pressure facet repaired on the back burner. I finally couldn't take it anymore and gave Berkeys a call. They gave me a date for when the plumber would come out but not a time. I'd let them know that I had somewhere to be later in the day and they did not disappoint. Jordan, the plumber sent, came early in the morning, was very professional and customer eccentric. I'm always hesitant about having workers come into my house as they usually make a mess but not Jordan. He was very clean and organized. Thanks Berkey for having such a quality employee
I can't help but lack confidence with the ceiling fan assessment I received for my $70 service call on Tuesday, 6/27/23. Berkey technician did not bring in a ladder to examine the cause for our high ceiling fan's reported problem: rubbing noise (without wobble) while running on the highest of 3 speeds (no issues running lower 2 speeds). The tech's diagnosis of bad motor came within a minute of his looking up at the fan from our family room floor. He estimated a $400 dollar installation charge to replace the fan, not including fan replacement cost. The tech may have logged 5 minutes in our home before leaving.
Berkey's was amazing from the initial call for service to the service performed! We can not express the courtesy and professionalism that Nick Giacomazzi showed during our crisis lighting situation. Berkey's has earned a customer for all of our electrical needs from here on out. Thank you Nick!
Berkey’s sent David Carter out quickly to diagnose and repair our condenser (Texas in July… kind of a big deal). David had us back up and cooling with a quickness and was very courteous and professional:)
The technician who took care of my air conditioning problem was so very nice, respectful and explained everything to me. I will be asking for Mark Derby next time I need help again. Thank you.

Yahkeem Washington was awesome. I’m 2 for 2 on good experiences with Berkey’s. Answered all my questions and went above and beyond to provide a quality service. I will request him to come back for my furnace tuneup in the winter. He was fantastic, and so was his associate that was with him doing on the job learning. Both very patient and willing to explain the ins and outs of parts and how they are looking, etc. I always get nervous to have these calls done, and It is a big weight off my shoulders to have a great experience.
Daniel from Berkeys did an awesome job of replacing a kitchen faucet, repairing garbage disposal drainage, changing out a broken hot water recirculation pump. He was pleasant, efficient, respectful, thorough, and completed the job to our greatest satisfaction. We will continue to use Berkeys as we have for a number of years.
Ms. Deborah, the one who took my call, was very kind when I was streesed about my broken AC. Mark, the tech, was very professional and informative when he arrived the same day. We will call them again. Thank you for coming!
Rennon Ellis came to inspect our AC. We already knew it was the expansion valve. He inspected it and came up with the same diagnosis. He quoted us $2,000.00 for the repairs after he signed us up for some preventative maintenance membership which supposedly took $300.00 off. So the repair would have been $2,300.00. It kept getting hotter and hotter inside. Normally it would start to cool down by 5ish. So my husband went outside and Rennon failed to put the breaker back until he came back tomorrow at 9am to repair it. By this time we’re furious and hot because it’s almost 90 degrees inside. We called Berkeys and spoke with Adrianna she listened then put us on hold and left us there on hold. They called back and hung up. So that appointment for tomorrow cancel it. Very unprofessional. I wish I could give a ZERO!
Michael was friendly and efficient in solving our problem. Our first time using Berkeys. Will definitely consider going with them again.
The company was hired to do an HVAC preventative maintenance inspection and make minor adjustments. Scheduling of work would only be done on a Saturday and only gives a certain day and no time. The technicians had minimal experience. The single condenser was operating fine before their arrival but the unit stopped working after they left. Berkeys was called about 20 minutes later but a technician was not available for rework until 4 hours later. Our home was 89 degrees. The company offered to replace a capacitor for a price of $500+ Upon my inspection, wires to the unit were not replaced and not wired correctly. The replacement part was $31 and ordered from Amazon for next day delivery. My friend had a spare one and we used this as a temporary for us to fix the unit. We went and retrieved the spare and had the unit operating (properly wired) in 30 minutes. Berkeys performance was a zero or less and still cost me for a supposed preventative maintenance and wanted to scalp me for an inexpensive part.
Samuel was fantastic in explaining things to me. He didn't try to up-sale me on anything un-necessary. Upstairs AC wasn't cooling correctly, he discovered the freon was low. He checked for leaks, topped off the freon , and now it's cooling perfectly.
I could not be more impressed on how my new A/C install went. From start to finish the team that evaluated and installed my system did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work. One year after my install and I’m still impressed with the level of service I continue to receive. I’m so glad I canceled my home warranty and went with a reputable company.
Wow! Amazing. Awesome. Respectful. This begins with the Removal and Replacement team of Brian and Juan. As the crew that is doing the actual completion of the purchase they shine for Berkey’s. Anyone can pick apart anything and make their point as the main intent to complain about. We were dreading having to go through the experience of having to replace our A/C and Heating Unit. After 15 years of only having to have A/C service twice and all the horror stories a positive outcome is not normally expected. Our experience we feel was made extremely positive and comforting by the process and Team Berkey’s has been able to put together to service their customers. For us the positive began when Brandon arrived and was very respectful, caring, courteous, extremely professional, and took the time to listen to what our desires were. Then offer some suggestions or thoughts that might make us be more satisfied with the results. Knowing what our considerations were for our budget he presented our desires and other considerations before we made our choice. May I say our A/C wasn’t working and rather than spending unnecessary money on repairs and in100 degree temperatures that day and the next ones to follow. Brandon provided us with the available options and we chose the one best for our budget. The crew (Brian and Juan) arrived the next morning and completed the work. They were so Amazing, Awesome, Respectful, Courteous, Professional, Caring, Dedicated to their work, and intent on correctly completing the assignment. I say this because the heat they were having to work in was extreme at first and at least twice during the process it began raining and the last time including some lightning. But no matter the obstacles they continued diligently on not stopping or rushing to get through but to get out of the elements continue working on items inside that also needed to be completed. To finish they took the time to demonstrate the items we needed to know and answe
David came out to look at our 45 year old A/C unit and give us a quote on cost of replacement. He stayed for an hour and thoroughly explained how new systems work vs. our old unit, pros vs. cons of available units to purchase, etc. He gave great advice and was not at all pushy trying to make a sale. He answered all of our questions and was very polite and professional. We have not made any purchase with this company yet, but would be willing to consider them in the future.
