I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Zimmerman AC/Heating. I really appreciate the level of integrity, professionalism, and availability. From start to finish our experience was incredibly comforting. Luke and his crew provided incredible insight and eased mine and my wife’s mind. We felt like we were an absolute priority during one of the most overwhelming heat waves. Thanks again for everything!

After 23 years, my AC unit decided it was time to retire. I contacted Zimmermann and Luke was sent to help me out. Luke was very friendly, professional, informative and answered all my questions. His service was excellent and left me feeling reassured I made the right decision on the replacement unit. Everyone I have worked with at Zimmermann has been beyond helpful and I feel like they truly strive to do the best for their customers.
Zimmerman AC is a very professional and honest company. They explained the AC service and parts which were being replaced to protect and service my American Standard home AC Unit. I have been using Zimmerman AC for the last 12 years because of their great customer service, value, professional workmanship and honesty. I am extremely greatful for their rapid response this week when my AC stopped cooling. Zimmerman is one of the best companies in San Antonio in my opinion. I absolutely had the best customer service with this company from beginning to end. They scheduled us in promptly, arrived on time, terry was able to figure out the issue and fix it with ease. Now we get to enjoy our cool air during these hot summers.
Zimmerman AC did an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone. My AC system had a clogged condensate drain pipe and I needed some assistance with clearing it and making sure there were no other issues affecting the system. A work colleague suggested Zimmerman and I could not be happier with the service I received. The technician, Terry, was prompt, polite, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and got to work fixing it right away. Terry also spent time giving me tips and tricks for properly maintaining my system by myself, which I very much appreciated. Terry took the time to make a couple other minor fixes, such as patching up some loose tape on some of the pipe installation and even dug out some loose insulation, which had fallen into my drain pan. The price was very fair and the service was impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend Zimmerman AC to anyone looking to fix an HVAC issue without getting taken advantage of or getting poor service. Zimmerman is top notch.
Completely lost confidence in Zimmerman A/C. Had annual maintenance/HVAC check performed Fri 8am-12pm, the technician knocked loose the main condensate drain pipe causing leak upstairs from attic (not overly concerned about simple issue, but mostly concerned with what followed). Found leak when it started dripping from our ceiling light at 9pm Fri. Called Z A/C and they said they couldn't get a tech out that night, recommended we shut off the unit, and they would have a tech first thing next morning. Did as recommended, shut down unit, and waited till am. Website says open at 8 on Sat so I've been calling since 8am, leaving messages. Probably called 50 times this am, no answers from 'existing customer line', only one answer from 'new customer line' and got hung up on. Finally received a call back at 11am, Tech Luke stated that I would have to pay them to add 2 valves and flush the system before they'd come back out. All I've asked is that they fix the leak created by their maintenance and then I would decide whether to have them complete the recommended valves/flush. I have 2 older systems close to replacement, and Zimmerman A.C just lost out on my service/future replacement. I will not invest further time/$$$ in Zimmerman A/C again, I'll find someone else.
Friendly and very up front about what is going to be done and recommendations for what to expect with the next visit. For instance: I have a UV bulb in the air intake, he gave me an expected timeframe for the life of the bulb and that I will most likely need to replace it within a year.
I am delighted to share my positive experience with Terry. He recently installed a smart thermostat and thoroughly cleaned out my AC components. I couldn't be happier with the results. His professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. He efficiently installed the smart thermostat, ensuring it was seamlessly integrated with my existing system. He also helped me set up the app on my phone and ensured I knew how to use it. Terry's attention to detail while cleaning the AC components was exceptional, and I noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my air conditioner afterward. This company is hands down the best! My AC wasn’t cooling the house and I have little ones and so the stress was high because you don’t want everyone in the house have to sit in a hot south Texas heat. They came by and took that load of stress off of me. Zimmerman are truly people who care for their customers. Other AC companies have come by in the past and only put a bandaid on the problem and never once guided me along of the true problem I had. Don’t miss this opportunity to use these guys the next time you need AC help.

Our services with Zimmerman started in 2022 with annual maintenance on our HVAC system. When we had our annual summer service done for the start of the 2023 summer season the technician noticed we had some issues with our HVAC system. They offered us a couple of different solutions to address our needs. We decided to go with installing a brand new HVAC. They were very thorough on everything that was going to be included in the price of our new AC. We were able to get financing quickly and the install was done the very next week. Willie Garza and Max went above and beyond. They were respectful, on time and very clean. I just want to say that I woke up at 3 in the morning freezing with my thermostat only sitting at 75. I thought I was in someone's else's house. I highly recommend Zimmerman air conditioning for any of your HVAC needs. We have found our forever company with Zimmermanfor sure.
I switched to Zimmerman from another company, and was so, SO impressed! Luke, who did the initial visit for regular maintenance and fine-tuning of the system which hadn't been done since 2020 was extremely helpful in finding the causes for some of the things that had been frustrating us. He also took the time to SHOW me the problems, taking me up into the attic for myself so I could see what was going on and why he was recommending the solutions he did. Then, when we scheduled the repairs that we agreed were necessary, he was there again to work with and explain directly to the installation crew what needed to happen. In many situations like this, one person does the inspection and recommendations, and then a different crew of people come in to do the work, sometimes leaving some questions or unanswered issues. The direct handover worked great in this instance and we're so happy. They also left our attic so CLEAN after they finished! The previous installers left much of their trash up there, but the Zimmerman crew took all their waste out, leaving it looking much, MUCH better than when they started. They were also able to get us scheduled quickly for both the initial visit and the subsequent repairs, although we weren't in the hottest part of the summer. I can't recommend them enough!
They were able to step in and clean up a lot of shoddy work done by the home warranty company. Wish we found Zimmerman first, then it would not have broken Down so much last year!

Our house was getting super hot during the summer and it turned out that our contractor’s hvac guy did a terrible job when we renovated our house. There was a giant hole in the hvac and all the cold air was blowing into the attic haha… Luke and his technicians were able to fix the hvac and install blow-in insulation in the attic to keep our house cold. I know our unit will need to be replaced soon (it’s super old) but they have been helping us maintain it. They are very helpful, professional, and kind.
