Had our AC unit stop working on the fourth of July, called and said we would get a call back sometime the next day. I informed them if they could be here asap due to the fact my elderly disabled grandmother lives with me , and they had our ac fixed first thing the next morning. Radiant is very professional and responsive. They really do have their customers best interests at heart.

Absolutely terrible experience. Made an appointment for a hot water heater for 8 AM. By 10 AM, no one had called or shown up. I had to call dispatch 3 separate times. Recruited a text @ 12:45 that someone would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Technician finally arrived @ 2:05 PM! I had repeated texts & calls into a manager who had the audacity to not return my calls nor texts. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from a manager! I do not recommend this business at all!

I wanted to share my experience and disappointment with the service received from this company. Our ceiling and walls were significantly water damaged because of something from our AC (I later found holes in the condensate drainpipe as the culprit, missed by the service tech), discovered on 11JUN. I called Radiant to help identify the cause/source of the leak and provide a fix. My initial impression with Radiant was very positive, their call center was available 24hrs and while they couldn’t promise a technician to come out the next day they did follow up and have someone scheduled the day after. The service tech arrived as scheduled on 13JUN and started assessing the potential cause of the leak but wasn’t able to identify a source due to the crawlspace layout (old house problems) and was hesitant to cut any holes in the ceiling although I gave permission to do what he needed as the ceiling was going to be torn out anyway (I ultimately torn out the ceiling of the affected area myself while he waited in his van, as his “manager” told him he wasn’t allowed to). After a couple hours of testing the system and looking around his “diagnosis” was that the insulation on the one of the primary lines was missing and/or chewed by rodents which was causing excessive condensation. I was skeptical of this being the cause, as the amount of water damage seemed to be more than the result of excessive condensation, but he stated that with the amount of insulation missing that this was likely the cause. He reinsulated pipe and was on his way. About 30-40 minutes later a gush of water falls from the ceiling. Following the water, I was able to identify where the leak(s) was coming from and immediately called Radiant who notified the service tech to return. Upon his return I showed him the exact source of the leak, which after consulting with his manager informed me that an installer would need to come to fix this issue after parts were ordered and that he would call me the following day

Today I am upset with Radiant Air Conditioning! I am 83 yrs old, I have Asthma and Heart Problems. I had my house remodeled and now there is dust blowing out of my air conditioner from the inside and outside. I made an appointment with Radiant and then I received a text that they would not be coming because they had too many a/c's that were not working in this hot weather. So today I called and explained my age and health problems and they told me that they would be calling in the FALL to schedule my appointment. So an elderly woman with health problems has to breathe in this dust for 4 more months???? I had signed up with Schmidt Mechanical and they were a great company....I am wondering if Radiant A/C has over extended themselves and so sad to see Schmidt Mechanical go!
