Had a minor emergency and found this company and I'm glad I did. Not only were they able to come out after hours but they were at our house faster than I would have expected. Colby was extremely polite and professional. He walked me through everything he was doing from start to finish. Hunter service group should be your go-to electricians.
The other reviews are true. John was great on the first visit to explain everything and just as good on the day of the install. Best part was he gave me an option that solved my issue that another company didnt even iffer me. Solution was also less expensive. Going to use again.
We had such a good experience with Hunter Service Group. We needed an emergency tech and called all over the city’s “24/7” AC companies and could not find anything. HSG was extremely time responsive and affordable , quoting us hundreds less than we thought we would spend. Daniel was superb- arrived within an hour of our call at 10PM and fixed our AC and thermostat quickly. Such a nice guy and we will definitely be using again.
Oscar came out the same day we called for service. He was fantastic and went above and beyond to get our AC unit working properly.
I appreciated the confirmation texts, pre-arrival calls, and texts with information on the person who is coming to your house (like legit a mini bio and a tracker). I had some crazy electrical issues that turned out to ultimately require action from CPS Energy to replace one of the big scary wires going to my house, but John Alestas quickly identified the issue, provided guidance on what to do, and assisted me to do so. He also answered a bunch of my questions and later coordinated follow on action to resolve the second order effect the power line issue had on my AC. Then when Michael Dye came out to fix my AC, he was super awesome. Quickly identified the burned out part, explained what he was doing and how he was fixing it (because I was super curious and asked about all the things), and now I'm no longer roasting alive in my home!! He also went on a side quest with me checking on a few other HVAC related concerns I mentioned (since he was already there). Quite a pleasant fella. As was John. I'm sure I'll cry at the cost later and question why any of us lunatics live in Texas where the ambient temperature is set to broil during the summer, but either way, I'm real glad Hunter Group got my electricity and HVAC sorted out.
John was experienced and professional in helping me out with my AC conundrum! Get a lot of information and was even taught a lot about my circuit breaker box and the map of my outlets. Definitely a great company.
HSG's team provided great and affordable services. They were timely, organized and responsive to our job requirements. I highly recommend using them and they will be my first call when I need anything.
John was great. He explained what was needed, how he would proceed with the work, and gave an accurate estimate for the cost. He was efficient and very professional and a pleasant person to deal with. We have some future electrical projects and intend to request him for those 😊
Excellent experience with John Alestas of the Hunter Service Group. The electrician changed out a bad GFI, rewired the external panel for our water fountain and all plugs/patio lights and rewired the patio ceiling fan to be powered from the wall switch.
June 13, 2023. This is an ADDED AWESOME testimony/review! John came out this morning near the beginning of the service window given..after receiving their text introducing their electrician who is coming out to service..and John was not only great, he explained what happened, what to look for in the future, and gave great advice as to our outdoor safety lighting needs...getting us MORE safety while utilizing our power areas already in place to save money. QUALITY! PROFESSIONALISM! EXCELLENT SERVICE! Hunter Service Group will always be at the top of my Trust/Go-to list! thank you, John! Their professionalism, speed, service and personal touch seems to be unmatched right now. David and Juan, as a team, converted what needed to be converted and repaired what needed to be repaired quickly and so smoothly. This is sincere...if google had a 10 star rating..instant 10.
The technician was on time, courteous and cleaned up after himself. This may seem petty but so many companies do not stress the importance of being courteous and a clean work area at the completion of a job. Customer service is what keeps a business going.
Chris, John, and Colby really helped us out with an emergency maintenance on a Sunday and followed up on the project the following week. Scheduling was easy, clerical staff were kind and accommodating, and we are able to live without worry now.

John Alestas arrived on time, explained completely what he was going to do and then worked quickly and efficiently to complete the work. He even took time to explain what he was doing and how I could upgrade the charging circuit later if needed. When he left the job site was cleaner than when he arrived. A good tech that will be welcomed back at my home any time

We had a great experience. John Alestes was knowledgeable even though the wiring was confusing, he took his time and explained it to us and gave us options. This is definitely a company we will use again.
I'm using Hunter Service for maintenance of my Whole House Electric Generator. I was very impressed at how they worked patiently with the previous contractor to make sure the systems information transferred correctly. Now each time the power goes out Hunter checks with me to make sure everything is working properly - very proactive.
Chris was so personable and patient. Stayed until the problem was fixed. It took him 12 hours to complete the job, but he didn't quit until he had the problem fixed.
I really enjoyed my experience with Hunter Service Group, and that's not something you hear often these days. There technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, timely and they don't take themselves to serious. I especially liked the text message pictures of their technicians dressed up in costumes at office parties (Bumble Bee, Leprechaun etc). This is a fun, family oriented group...
