Man this company is phenomenal. Great pricing, amazing customer service, very clear on verbal bids, provide videos and pictures of issues as well as “before” and “after” images once complete, and itemized receipts are provided. Can’t emphasize enough how much I would recommend these folks. I have 3 homes and will be using this company for all of them, And referring out friends, family, and clients!!

We love George Best! Wade has come out multiple times to deal with our HVAC issues. Whether is it maintenance or an urgent need Gay always is able to fit us in and Wade is there to fix our problem! We are so grateful to have this awesome company in our neighborhood!
We have used this company for well over 4 years my grandparents for years before that. They are always very responsive, fair, honest, and always on time. There receptionist Gay and her assistant always work to schedule you as quickly as possible and keep you updated throughout any wait for an opening there may be. Hands down the best heating and air company I've used EVER. Won't go to anyone else.
I have to share! Veteran-owned company was recommended to me 2 years ago. Yesterday my AC went out; they texted me what to do while they were on their way. Within an hour, they were here fixing it and performing my overdue maintenance. Each time I have used them, they are professional, friendly, and super affordable. They only make recommendations on what needs to be replaced and what has life left in it. My unit is 15 years old. Both times they walked me through what they were doing and showed me how they determine bad parts. Thank you Wade, I learn so much that THIS time I am being diligent in passing this company on to others who are afraid to be overcharged. They work nights and weekends.

I needed freon for my AC. I called all the big boy companies in San Antonio and none of them could give me a quote per pound for freon. They all wanted someone to send out a Tech 1st and then surprise me with the price. Typical upsell tactic. Gay answered the phone at George Best and gave me the exact 5 star customer experience I wanted. She gave me a quote and even probed into my problem and asked why I was refilling my unit with freon so much. She pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone and gave me an absolutely fair price. I could tell that her technicians were not on commission when they came because they did not make any extra unnecessary attempts to upsell me. The Techs had a positive attitude and I could tell they were happy with their jobs. I would absolutely put my reputation on the line and recommend this company highly!!!

I contacted George Best for a new system quote as my Trane system hasn’t worked properly in the year that I have owned this home. Gay talked me into allowing her tech Tony to troubleshoot the system. I’m glad I did. Tony first located several wires improperly connected in the outdoor unit. (This is after at least 4 other AC contractors had looked at my system.). That repair made the system work much closer to normal and I scheduled additional repairs to add a filtration device and another return air to the system as that was another known problem. While adding that, Tony looked at internal wiring as some of Trane’s technical information pointed to it being wired incorrectly as well. Upon completion of rewriting inside, the system is now quieter, and works the way it was designed. I have nothing but praise for This company as they listen to the customer, show up on time, their pricing is reasonable and they clean up when they are done and explain everything that they did. I highly recommend them.
I am so thankful to have been referred to George Best A.C. by my father in law. We had so much trouble finding a reliable trustworthy a.c. repair company after a long labor day weekend with no a.c. that I was considering going to HVAC school myself. Gay Best was very attentive and professional when I called with my issue, she immediately worked on finding our parts and she made sure we were taken care of as quickly as possible. Mr. Tony was extremely professional and cordial, he was careful and methodical in repairing our a.c. system. I can attest that this company is truly in this business to serve it's community with professional, reliable, reasonably priced HVAC service.
I reached out to George Best HVAC because my father was a long-time customer (and my father believed in spending his money on quality, professional work). My experience did not disappoint. The customer service (from scheduling to the visit) was impeccable. Both Gay and Kathy were so very cordial on the phone. Louis and his partner (I regret that I did not get his name) came to my home to conduct an AC maintenance check. They were timely, professional, and friendly. They even shared with me how to maintain my unit between tech visits. The price was very competitve. For your HVAC needs, I highly recommend George Best Heating and Air Conditioning!
They came same day and fixed the problem on the spot. They have the perfect formula for a great experience: showed up when they said they would, had the right parts in the truck to fix it then and there, great customer service from the office and the tech. Can’t say enough good things about Tony and Gay!

Best A/C company out there! Every employee was a delight, from the owner, to the technicians, and even the lady who answered the phone (who is actually the owner also). The prices are fair, scheduling is workable, and they are actually honest. We have the A/C system from hell in our house, after needing it repaired every year, we had WillFixIt (don’t recommend) come out and replace it, $12k later we have a new system from Lennox (also don’t recommend) and we don’t buy the labor warranty because we think, new system = no repairs... man were we wrong, 4 years and multiple repairs and leaks and capacitor issues and thousands of dollars or repairs from WillFixIt.... surprise, the A/C broke again the beginning of April, I was referred to George best by a chance meeting and recommendation in the hospital...I took down their number knowing in my soul we would need an AC company and I was right....we called George best and Gay had the guys come out and take a look and the evaporator coil was leaking 🤕 and needed to be replaced AGAIN... they helped us get it done fairly and went above and beyond to make sure we had cool air during the quarantine (my husband and I both work in the hospital) and to get us a right coil that wouldn’t leak again. They more than impressed us with their hard work and kind, honest work ethic. They have a customer for life!
Great company... my AC motor had stopped working, Gay was so wonderful. The repair men had my AC up.and running in no time. They also cleaned and checked the AC system.. This is a honest, dependable, caring company..which is so hard to find lately..
