Either the tech didn’t know what he was doing or he knew but just wanted to charge me $300 for this part that did not solve the problem. One day later my ac was out again. He said it was probably the motor and if it went out again…..and that’s exactly what happen. Called again and they want another $1000 to put the motor they should have put in the first place. Needless to say, I didn’t use them and will not use them and don’t recommend anyone else use them.
Great, prompt service. Abraham unclogged the pipes that drain the air conditioning pan in the attic, no small feat!, and had the system up and running in no time. I am now enrolled in a service plan so they come twice a year to do preventive maintenance. No more surprises with a malfunctioning a/c in the middle of the Texas summer.
I had an HVAC replacement after my AC quit working. Champion was professional in every interaction from sales to installation. The job was completed timely as promised and everything has worked perfectly.

Johnathan A. was a repairman we recognize from the early days and was very professional and helpful with our AC repair. He was on time, thorough and even gave us some helpful suggestions on how to maintain our unit to keep it working.
Tyler did a great job, figuring out why our AC went out yesterday. After ruling out a few options, it took him no time to correct the problem. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly. Thank you for scheduling him on such short notice, and sending out another exceptional technician.
Your service team is well trained and I know that I can depend on your techs to be thorough. Another company ignored the drain pan, your team found the drain switch on the off position. It overflowed into my master bedroom.

This isn't a "fake review" directed at the company. If I could give negative stars, I would! My A/C stopped cooling a few days ago. I first called Airtron, but they weren't helpful. They wouldn't even come out and see what the issue was unless I was a "preferred member" which included a 1 year contract/subscription. I decided to give Champion a call since the Google reviews were really good. They sent over an A/C tech later that afternoon. He primarily worked on diagnosing my A/C unit that is outside of my home. He took about half and hour (maybe more) and told me that it wasn't the coolant or the fan, even though the fan did not spin and sounded sluggish. He did install a new capacitor since that's what he apparently did to the A/C unit of a few other homes with a similar issue as mine. It still wasn't working and so he concluded that it was the compressor. Granted, my home is only 3 years old. I did contact Airtron again to ask about the warranty. I was told that specific parts, including the compressor, had a 5 year warranty that covered the parts and labor. I decided to call back the tech that assisted me from Champion and he said they could install the new compressor for $1,400. Even though the warranty covered parts and labor, he insisted that was their fee for the "compressor change out." Something didn't add up, so I consulted with a neighbor of mine who happens to be an electrician. I told him what was happening and if he could take a look at my A/C unit. My neighbor told me to go inside my home and check to make sure the fan was ON & set to Cool via the thermostat panel. I kid you not!, that probably took less than a minute, and when I went back outside he told me he had fixed it! The fan was running just fine and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the compressor! Not only that, the A/C started cooling my home immediately! (The temperature inside my home had almost reached 90 F!). My issue here is two-fold. Either (1) this technician is INCOMPETENT an
Serviceman was prompt, polite and helpful. He explained his findings well and he took the time to explain what he would be doing along with how and where he would be doing all that needed to be done. Are ac went out last night the wife called this morning and every company was a couple of days before they could see our home but champion home services came out today and Brian Hatwig was so professional and got it running and the price was reasonable and we signed up for membership service which is needed cause this texas heat. The monthly rate is reasonable as well I do recommend champion home services for all you're home needs
I like Brian Hatwig because, he is very good what he does and he also have excellent manner plus a lot of patience in explaining everything that was and need to be done. Daren was very professional! He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand it and always showed me proof of his findings. He was friendly and funny and a pleasure to have in our home. He listened to our concerns and at the end of his service he made sure that we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend him and Champion for future service for myself and others that I know.
I called Champion AC to come service my AC unit that was blowing hot air this summer. They were quick to schedule a technician to come out and help. I got a call from Deron Hock when he was on his way and immediately was able to diagnose and provide a solution. He was very professional and friendly. I will definitely request Deron to return if I ever have AC problems in the future.
The 5 stars is for Gustavo, who diagnosed the problem, and our installers Joe and Jacob. Due to an error by whomever did the scheduling, I’m sure our appointment was unplanned for him, and at the very end of the day. He arrived with a great attitude was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable. Not to mention he had to get up into the attic when it was extremely hot outside. he explained all of our options very well and never pulled the pressurized sales pitch I’ve experienced with other service companies. We were very impressed with him. Also would like to include Joe Garcia and Jacob who installed a brand new system we eventually decided on. They showed up early, were friendly and took such great care to keep the house clean. They were fast and after working in an upstairs attic on a hot day, they took the time to explain the new thermostats etc, to my mom. They were just exceptionally personable and professional. They made what could have easily turned into a complicated, headache situation seem easy. A million thanks to you guys!
Our AC stopped working it was 87 • in the house and we were able to call in for a service and get someone out the same day. Gustavo was super friendly and informative. Our coils to our ac were rusted and the unit that was installed before we moved in was not the best. The duct work was real shoddy. We ended up going with a new unit and new duct work. There was a scheduling issue which caused the date on the install to be moved but Gustavo came by dropped off portable ac units and a discount was provided due to the inconvenience. Today Roque and his team came out to install everything. They guys were super friendly nice and showed us how to use everything and swept up before they left. Installing a new unit is not cheap but they do offer financing and overall I am pleased with the experience and service. It’s already much cooler in the house. Thanks 😊
Called Jason to get a portable AC to borrow and he was able to meet me at the house quickly. Guys who installed were very thorough, polite, and professional. Would highly recommend Champion AC !!!
All we wanted was our AC serviced for the special deal, but after talking to Jonathan, we found out we got a much better deal with membership. We also realized he was talking about all things not just AC. Now we have electrical and plumbing, not just AC. We love that. We stayed with our last AC guy for over 20 years till he retired. We expect to do that with Champion's. Jonathan was awesome and so very nice and respectful of our home. Kudos to Champion for having him on your team!!
The customer service is the reason I stay with them. When calling the number directly, they are polite and professional. All the techs that have come out are also very professional. Our thermostat recently went out during this heat wave and even though they couldn’t get the part right away, they provided a portable to help us out and kept us updated on the status of the part. Just don’t call the number on the automated text confirmation. That seems to be a separate service and the customer service at that number is terrible.
