The Tech, Reed was a great kid. Knew his job well. Problem is they charged over $600 for a capacitor that cost $70. He wanted to replace a contactor that is still working and wanted $225 or so on that $30 contactor. I have talked to s few AC companies since this job and they charge $150 for the contactor.

I give 3 stars because I feel we were robbed/taken advantaged of. Although we had a choice, my husband didn't want to have another warm, restless night since our HVAC pipe was clogged up and it was too late in the evening to get someone else out. We were charged $755 to CLEAR 1 DRAIN LINE. The gentleman that was sent out was professional and seemed thorough. I called earlier in the day to schedule the appointment and should have made other (backup) calls but I was at work and didn't want to risk several companies coming at the same time, nor did we want to keep paying service/inspection fees. I checked around the night of our service and saw, on the high end, to clear a drain line runs about $350. I even asked our technician why is it so expensive and he said he didn't know - after explaining to me a second time what he had to do. He broke a pipe under the cabinet during servicing so he had to go to the store to get another one. I was going to tell him when he got back not to finish and let us pay the difference but it was pretty much completed by then. Again, we had a choice and the issue was resolved but unfortunately, I won't recommend or use Republica again. The price is just too expensive for my comfort.

I called this morning and in a hour, Randy came out, assessed the problem and fixed it. He also did a full system check to make sure everything else was working properly. Friendly staff on the phone, friendly and knowledgeable technicians in the field. You never want to need them, but you'll be glad to know they'll get the job done right! I'll be recommending them to all my family/friends.

This company called and said they would not be coming to do a quote for me because it’s not a good fit if my husband can’t be present at the same time. Apparently me being the home owner (only one on the deed), I am not able to make decisions on my own. I’ve never felt so discriminated in my life by being an independent woman with my own money to spend on my home. Update: in regards to your response. There were no wires crossed. Your team called me 2 additional times to ask if my husband would be present. They asked if I could make the decisions and I assured them multiple times that I would be making the decision on the AC service and cost and his presence was not needed. Then the last call was to advise me that I was not the right fit for your company. Very sad and disappointing. I was able to secure service. Had my coil replaced and paid right from my bank account (no credit card fees) for the $2600 services rendered.
