Samm's replaced my entire HVAC system a few years ago and even after my free maintenance period ended I continued on as a paid customer because their service is truly TOP NOTCH. Any time anyone asks for referrals for HVAC services I am HAPPY to talk them up!
We moved into our new house in Plano during a heatwave. We noticed right away that something wasn’t working right. We chanced upon Sams and couldn’t be happier with the result. All the people sent to our house were kind, responsive and eager to help. Special shout out to Cole and amber in the office. Thank you!
It take the repairman two visits to fix the air conditioning system. He needed help, he called several folks to walk him through the process. He was vey courteous.
Luis was friendly and went about doing his job professionally. After he had completed his job he ask us if we had any questions. We love Samm's what more can we say.
I had an excellent experience when Samm's fixed a broken A/C unit in my home (capacitor replacement). Following that, they replaced the plenum and all ductwork upstairs to improve temperature balance and airflow (a few rooms were significantly hotter). While it took multiple visits from technicians and a redesign of the plenum to address all the issues, Samm's stood behind their work and continued to follow up until I was 100% satisfied with the result.

Called these guys out on a Saturday because our AC was not working. They showed up earlier than expected, thoroughly looked over our system, and ended up at our breaker box where the problem originated. Our breaker box was still original (house built in 1962) and the AC breakers were out. He was courteous, professional and helped us out on a Saturday. This company is not our regular company, but when they were booked up, these guys came through!
Samm's Heating & Air has been my provider for HVAC service for ~ 20 years. They are very professional, responsive, & can diagnose & fix the issue quickly.

I contacted Samm's in the spring of 2022 because of uneven cooling in my home - my game room was considerably warmer than the other rooms in my house. Almost $25,000 and a year later and I still have the same problem. After contacting Samm's, Marcus came by home and proposed a new HVAC system. We still had the original system, over 30 years old, and every year or so we had to do some maintenance on it. It seemed like a good time to replace it, and of course I thought it would solve our problem. Unfortunately I still had the same problem after the new HVAC system was installed. The game room, where I work, was still much warmer than the other rooms in the house. I placed the sensor in my game room like Samm's techs suggested, but setting the thermostat to 73 means it's frigid in the rest of my house. Samm's techs came out a few times to make adjustments, but they also suggested that I add more insulation to my attic. So I did. I paid to add 18 inches of insulation throughout my attic, and I still have the same problem. The techs also said they couldn't do anything about physics. Physics. I didn't hear a single word about physics before the installation. My house is basically a square, it's not like my game room is hundreds of feet from the HVAC unit. So basically I paid Samm's a lot of money to solve a problem, they suggested I pay someone else more money because they couldn't solve my problem, and I still have the same problem. Don't let these guys sell you on a new system.
Samm's technicians, are always professional, thorough, and on time. Matthew was very professional and completed the work quickly. He explained what he was going to do and explained what he had done afterwards. Samm's technicians always wear shoe coverings in your house, and I appreciate this.

How can you charge $423.00 for $90.00 part on Amazon..?? Install and labor was $323.00..?? service techs were great..!

Thoroughly disappointed with their service. Unaccommodating and rude professionals. Their prices seem good - but we were completely blindsided about the service fee waiver. It is hard to make a $$ decision in 30 minutes to repair our HVAC. We asked for a day or two to make that decision, and asked if the service fee (of 99$) would be waived of then and they vehemently refused. We were open to give them business but the lady's inflexibility and off-handed behaviour really put us off, and made them loose a potential customer. Our money was held hostage, and even when we told them we will get back them in an hour (it was almost end of the day) - they pressurized us to make a decision ASAP.
AC stopped working after they did a check up, now thermostat isn't working. Being charged to repair it. Was happy with this place, but I'm retracting that praise. Next time I spend thousands of dollars to replace an AC unit, will go elsewhere.
Luis was very helpful. He made sure everything was running correctly. He also offered very useful advice. He suggested a small repair to help extend the life of one of my units. I appreciate that greatly.
This company is as professional and ethical a company as I have ever worked with. They go beyond your expectations, they are a rare gem in a world of ripoffs. Every employees I have met is so professional and courtesy and proficient. Not just a great company for what they do, but elite in every way!
