My compressor quit working in this heat. Called collin air and was pleasantly surprised that they managed to come the very sameday. Andy was very thorough and professional. Explained patiently what has happened empathized with me and gave me multiple options and recommendations. Very nice to work with. Update, The estimated cost, though i think was ok, was out of my budget and went with another company
Collin is the best. We got our unit from Collin and a power surge temporarily zapped it. I called over there and literally within 10 minutes Andy was over. He quickly diagnosed the issue and we had AC again in under a half hour. I can’t recommend them enough, their service in unmatched
We had some water damage on the ceiling of one of our rooms. I thought maybe it was a clogged condensate line so I called the company that installed our system a few years ago. They came out and went into the attic to see where the water was coming from. They told me that the condensate drain pan was rusty but it was not rusted through and the problem was not the pan. They also stated that the duct that was directly over the damaged area was intact and was dry. They recommend we have our roof inspected. I won't give that company any exposure by naming them as I will no longer be doing business with them. We contacted our roofer who put a new roof on our house a year ago and he came out to see what he could find. He must have been a collegiate gymnast to get to the duct for a better inspection. He discovered that the insulation on the duct was not properly fastened and water was condensing on the metal ductwork inside the insulation. He also found that the condensate drain pan was brimming over with water and not draining properly. He referred me to Collin Air Conditioning and they were able to fit me in less than 24 hours later. Our techs, Andy and Dylan, were personable and friendly. When the arrived they put covers on their shoes to prevent tracking anything into my house. They found that there was some debris/insulation that had fallen into the drain pan and once removed, the pan drained properly. They then went above and beyond and worked their way to where the damage was so they could be sure they fixed the entire issue. They found what looked like a fist sized tear im the bottom of the duct insulation that was allowing condensation to form on the duct and drop onto my ceiling. Between the overflowing condensate pan and the damaged duct, there was a fairly constant drip coming through my ceiling. They patched up the duct insulation and made sure it sealed properly. I have faith that this is a semi-permanent repair that will get me through the summer. I know I

Collin Air and Collin himself exceed my expectations by miles. He is so good. I just can’t ask any better than he did for my #HVAC. If I need any heating or cooling related services, the first name comes into my mind is Collin.
Andy the tech showed up on time, diagnosed issue and explained fix and was able to quickly repair fan motor. Collin explained addressing unit to avoid future problems and felt they had my interests and not just making a sale. Have used and recommended Collin AC numerous times and will continue using and recommending them. Thanks Brian and Collin for helping keep us cool (and warm at times).
AC went out yesterday. 94 in the house last night. Quick call and by 8:30am back and cooling off. Thank you Colin and Andy.
Best AC installation we have ever had
I’m a Richardson (Collin county) resident. Collin always addresses my concerns promptly. Very up front and honest. Andy is fast courteous and gets the issue resolved. If I have any concerns he always comes to help. He took care of my in laws and my own home. I have referred Collin air to family/friends and will continue to do so.

I would highly recommend Collin Air. They notified me via text 30 minutes prior to appointment arrival, were courteous, professional and did a great job. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. They simply made suggestions based on the life of my AC and furnace. Their pricing is very fair anc competitive also. Five Stars and would suggest them to friends and family.

Jimmy is a talented and friendly heating and a/c technician. As always he showed up on time and completed our annual inspecton/maintenance of our systems in a reasonable amount of time. We've used Jimmy and Collin Air for a number of years.
My HVAC fan stopped moving during the ice storm. They were very quick to come during the bad driving conditions. Thankfully the diagnosed and fixed the issue within 10 minutes. They then gave me some helpful tips to prevent future issues from occurring due to the weather in Texas winters. Bravo
