Shane responded to a drain line being backed up at my house promptly, he went the extra mile to not only clean the drains completely out but wash the coils and completely service the AC unit. I'd recommend Chill AC to anyone with issues with their system and will continue to use this company in the future. The cost was a fraction to what most places charge. Showed up timely, and after assessing job did an excellent job in completing task. Friendly, polite and very professional. We called CHILL AIR based on the reviews that we read here in Google. Unfortunately, our experience with CHILL Air didn’t end well. We had to release Chill Air from our claim paying $1208.34 with no working air conditioner. Our unit from outside stopped working on 8/12/22 and when he came and evaluated the system. He suggested that we needed a new defrost board, replace a rusted filter drier, and to repair a leak not by refrigerant chamber. In the end we were billed for those three items plus a new thermostat that we had no issues before hand but was blown out as he triggered something on the outside unit. A new thermostat was installed by him but is not working due to him dropping the thermostat in my presence. Also, A New transformer which initially wasn’t needed was added, and refrigerant that wasn’t filled up due to technician puncturing a hole and we were charged for. Mr. Adam Claimed that we turned off the unit before he could refill it. This isn’t true. But in the end he still charged us for it. The Wiring was all messed up and he switched out things that didn’t need to be switched out. We had to hire new company to fix our air conditioner to prevent any further damage by chill air. The other company successfully fixed it immediately. Where as, chill air took 5 days with no success. I sent a text to the owner on 8/18/2022 from Chill Air to request receipt for thermostat so that we can go and get a new one and a refund for the 3 lbs of refrigerant that was billed to us yet we didn’t receive it. He claimed I was attacking him on a personal level and I reiterated that it wasn’t a personal attack but that were wanting those two things in order to move forward. I was graceful and very precise as to what I believe was true and exact as to what happen. I have documentation from the other company that they needed to rewire the system in order to proceed with the repair. In the end what we really needed was a fan motor. We specifically told Chill

First off, I want to begin with I have had many technicians come through my house and I have never met anyone I can confidently trust not to screw us over or provide less quality work for a quick buck. Additionally, Shane is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Shane provides the best quality of business from the moment he answers the phone until the end of a project. With this said, I have called Shane before when he owned a different company. His service was efficient and effective at a wonderful cost. Granted this was 3-4 years ago, and we happen stance called Chill Air and my husband immediately recognized him. We’re in a new home and encountering different issues. So this review will come in numerous phases. Phase 1: I called a few companies today around 530 pm. As expected, it’s “emergency hours” which costs more or we could have made an appointment to have our serviced. So, we would wait days living in a hellish 79 degree home just to be seen. By happen chance, I called Shane and he amazingly went out of his way to come to my house at 8 pm in a none emergency call. He spotted an issue within 30 minutes and provided phenomenal cost effective solutions to ensure our house was cooler than ir felt last year. Which is surprising! He was kind, very considerate, one of the most competent technicians I have ever hired, reliable and extremely trustworthy. I had a technician come to my house two weeks ago for the same issue and they didn’t even spot the same issues. Again, less quality of service for a quick buck. With Shane, it’s the opposite. He gives the best quality of service for an extremely generous price. Again, this is phase one. The is a multi-project review. I’m not one to write reviews, but this man has earned my effort and my business. He is now my permanent technician for as long as he is in service! Highly recommended!

I called CHILL Air to get pricing and when Shane answered he was very polite and sympathetic to our situation. I called for a recharge and told him about the problem we experienced that same day with the AC unit. He got us scheduled the same day and at a very reasonable price. He replaced a capacitor that was burnt up and on it's last legs and recharged my system with in an hour. He was very professional and efficient. He even took the time to come in and make sure the temps had lowered. Even though the price went up due to the capacitor being burned up, it still was very affordable. I will be suggesting CHILL Air to family and friends in the future and they are definitely my go to HVAC service provider from now on.
