Had been working with Air Guy on 3 separate occasions specifically with Johnny without any complaints. He’s no longer with Air Guy, and upon having my AC go out again, they refused to come out and do a warranty checkup, regardless of my tenure as a customer and buying their products. Unprofessionally dealt with, and left me with zero reason to come work with them again. Rarely post reviews, but don’t want others to face similar issues when paying large amounts of money only to be treated like a stranger. Very difficult for them to find any documents of the services they’ve rendered to me. 2 thumbs way down.

Our AC quit the night before, called them at 8:00pm and Johnnie said he'd be out by 10 or 11:00 the next morning. To my surprise he's here at 9:00AM. Johnnie was VERY informative, courteous and professional and most of all, HONEST! Got AC going in no time, without the up selling and BS. Highly Recommend!

Absolutely incompetent technician. Just get a second opinion. Called previous day for leak in evaporator coil, No refrigerant in system. I had diagnosed it myself. I used to work on these systems, there are several articles and videos how to check this online. Asked for an estimate. XXX sends some technician for estimate, I could not be home but a family member was. The technician checks outside unit(condenser and blower are outside) does not even check the inside unit, that's were the evaporator coil is. Quotes a 817 $ replacement for non related items; break up is like this: $249 run capacitor(retail is $24) in case like this run capacitor is not even required, both condenser and blower are running. Freon for $375 (retails for $245 online and that cylinder is twice our system capacity ! so really $123) On top of it charges $70 service call. So he is suggesting we put more freon on a leaking system and does not even bother to quote us for the part we actually called for !!!!!! All in all not so good experience. Update : Management called we are working to a mutual resolution.

We woke up on New Years Day with a broken heater and a house that was sitting in the low 60s. Despite the holidays, they were able to get to our house in less than an hour after we called, and had the heater back up less than half an hour after that. They even came back out the next day and replaced something that needed to be replaced. Top-notch service from some top-notch guys, even on short notice on a holiday. We will absolutely be repeat customers for any further HVAC needs.

There is no question why The Air Guy has a 5-star rating. I have been a customer of a "big guy" company for years. I read many positive reviews and decided to give The Air Guy a try. Johnny was prompt, so prompt I wasn't ready for him! He asked me questions and diagnosed the problem and had the issue resolved in no time. The down-to-earth personality made me feel valued as a customer as if I, the person, mattered as well and not like I was just more revenue for the company. I'm embarrassed to admit I thought this was going to be another awkward transaction with a stranger in my home. It was the opposite. It felt like a longtime friend coming to visit. Bye-Bye big guy. My friends ac went out on 08/10/17. I was helping find a reputable ac company to call, made several calls and because we live in Irving decided to stay local. One company came out and because of the location of the part that was bad (overhead) decided that just after surgery it was best not to attempt, no problem, any other circumstance I would hire this guy, just one of those things. Next up The Air Guy they came at promised time, took care of the problem at what she considers to be a reasonable price and time frame. She also wanted to thank Tim and the guys for being so nice to her. Apologies for not having cold drinks on hand for it was a hot day. Thank you The Air Guy! XN

What can I say about the air guy????? A whole lot but I'll keep it brief... They are honest and fair AC people no BS, he is upfront about his pricing and believes in the quality of his work and will not nickle and dime you. Doesn't send nonsense silly sales people he just gets to the heart of the matter. They did my attic fan, attic tent and insulation and did a fantastic job on all three. HIRE THESE GUYS!

I had a hard time deciding which company to go with and finally decided on the Air Guy and I am so happy that I did. Johnny first came out to give me an estimate and ultimately did the install of our new AC system. He was very friendly and made sure to show me what was wrong with the old system. He also showed me all the work he did and explained what everything was and showed me how to change the filter and operate the new thermostat. Tim was equally helpful and friendly. I bombarded him with tons of questions to make my decision and he answered all of them, even when they were at 10pm. He also responded quickly to my messages. They did an awesome job and I would highly recommend them!

Wow, I am a believer now, my unit went out over the weekend, so I start calling all those 24 hour service company at 6 am, no body answer, I call Air Guy before they open, Tim answer the phone said he will be at my place in 30 Min. on TIME, he check it out told the same thing my good buddy told me. out side unit coils are bad. he sent Johnny out with parts this guy made it look so EZ. in 3 hour I was cooling down. there was no up sale , Johnny was very knowledgeable and professional. oh the other guys started calling me back at 9:30, after Air Guy has been paid

I found The Air Guy on Google, I'm so glad I did!! I called at 7pm, told him the issue and 10mins later he was at my door. That itself was amazing!! He explained to me what the issue was and how he fixed it. I purchased a maintenance plan because I really don't think I'll trust anyone else with my AC unit. Tim was straightforward with the charges and explained how the plan works. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your AC repair, but are scared of being ripped off by one of those big companies because you don't know any better, call Tim.
