Excellent service, technicians are punctual and know their business. They will not try to "upsell" you something you don't need. I also purchased a service contract with them for Spring and fall checkups, very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I have used J&C several times, always with wonderful results. They have come out on a Sunday within an hour of me calling; they have not overcharged or attempted to oversell me anything. Once, when another company came out and tried to tell me that I needed a whole new system (over $8,000), J&C came out and fixed the problem for under $200. I will always use them.

Had two systems upstairs and down. Once company quoted $18,000 including unnecessarily moving some copper lines and re pouring bases for the units. J&C gave me a quick affordable and honest quote to save one unit for 4-5 more years and replace the smaller one at much less cost. They did quick and efficient work and have followed up with free filters and are very very easy to work with in terms of scheduling. Really enjoy working with them.

We were given this company's information by our commercial property management, and called for service to our heating systems that weren't working. The gentleman that answered the phone was courteous, and he sent techs over within a couple of hours. Two men showed up to take a look at our system, and went on the roof to check the units. We have 3 units up there, which we have never seen in person before. One unit was turned off for unknown reasons at an unknown time. Another unit had a broken control unit, possibly on purpose. We were not given any reason why the third unit was not working, but it did without any "repairs." When the repairmen switched the control boards from the second and third units, the second unit worked as it was supposed to. We asked him to leave it like that, but he said he couldn't, and that we would have to purchase a new board. We were also told that the air filters hadn't been replaced in a long time, and were told that they were $15 each. Since we haven't seen the units, and know nothing about commercial heating and air, we gave them the go-ahead to replace the filters on the first and second units. When the guys were done, they handed us a bill for over $1000. Apparently each unit has 8 filters, so we were charged for 16 total ($240), the board ($320), 3 hours of labor ($345), a $20 service charge, and $77 in tax. Since the guys were only here for 2 hours, we questioned the labor charge, and were told that their time starts when they leave their office, yet we were not told that upfront. We were also not told that each unit had 8 filters, so we expected $30 total for 2 air filters. After speaking with the owner, the only thing he was willing to do was to take off 1/2 hour of labor ($57.50). Apparently we were supposed to know or ask when their labor time started, and how many filters the units had. Please be aware of these guys, and find out the right questions to ask service people so you aren't charged a ridiculous amount like we w
