Jamal repaired my compressor when it won't start and explained how it was wired differently than most residential units.
It does not leave me feeling feel great to be charged $800 for $75 of parts and 1.5 hours of work. Am I glad my AC works again...yes. We're they quick and polite...yes. Hence, 3 stars. But do I feel a little taken advantage of...yes. Will I use them again or recommend them to neighbors...no. Consider shopping around unless you need it fixed quick.
Super easy to deal with on this spring maintenance and fix. Tech called ahead and arrived on time. Easy to resolve my issue. I have used in the past and will use in the future.
Very frustrated with the service. They dripped an epoxy glue onto my bathtub that permanently stained it. And then they charged me $850… I hope someone contacts me to rectify.

This company came out twice with my service provider and neither time did the address the issue that the temperature wasn’t keeping up with the thermostat. Even though the thermostat had been replaced. Charge me an additional fee beyond what the service company already pays to supposedly clean out a clogged line upstairs that was causing the float or something like that to stick. The end result AC still not keeping up with thermostat never once did he go out and check the unit for Freon or anything else like that. I only wanted to tell me that in the future if I tell the technician what the problem is that’s the only problem they’re going to look for as opposed to them doing their job and actually finding out what could be the root cause of the issue . Take it a step further I was told that I need to replace my ducks in my attic for $2700. I had Multiple companies come out and take a look at the ducts and even provided me a video of the ducts on the inside and none of them recommended replacing them.
My unit stopped working in the middle of the day and I was lucky enough to purchase Home service through Center Point Energy. I then contacted CPE for service and Jamal got assigned to check on my unit. He showed up with the window of time I was given, and helped fixed up the AC wire and replaced the contactor. The job took him nearly two hours. Overall, I am very happy with their service. Thank you!

Jamal the HVAC technician is incompetent. He has been to my residence trice for the same problem and could not fix it properly he tells my tenants that the air conditioning needs to be replaced and call me to tell me that the system is cooling well, and that the tenants complaint are not valid about the air conditioning not cooling, so with this techniques he kept going to my residence to make money on what I call stealing by trick through my home warranty. If it was possible to rate him zero I would have and i would not recommend Jamal at all for he is into making money by deceit. Shame on you Jamal for spoiling servicemaxx name.
I was referred to SeeviceMaxx by a friend, and I'm so glad I was. Jamal came out, and fixed everything for a very reasonable price. When I thought something was wrong with the AC later that night, he came back out at almost 9pm. What great service. The company is timely, efficient, and accommodating to your needs. Jamal was great! He was very responsive, listened to my concerns, correctly and efficiently troubleshot my AC system. He is very fair and honest with his pricing and work. He absolutely stands behind everything he does! In addition, he always answers the phone, no matter what the concern, he communicates the whole process each step until the job is complete! If you’re looking for an honest HVAC company look no further. I would absolutely recommend them!

They had offered Trane and furnace 3 years ago. I had it financed and they installed it. I was having some cooling problems with it so I had them to come and service it. It needed the fan motor replaced. I didn't look at the unit till a few days later. There were wires tied off and exposed on top of unit. So I confronted the issue and Jamal said it was normal. I said that that is not normal..it wasn't like that before. Mind you my Trane is still under warranty. So I had another AC guy come out and he said that they put a generic motor in instead of Trane parts. I told ServiceMaxx that they need to correct this problem. Or I will turn a report in to the Texas License and Regulations. He then sends a text at 10:45pm and says they found my trane motor and will be exchanging it with Trane and will deliver it. So I asked when and by whom? He then text and said he will call in a week or so. I then said that it needs to be done in a timely manner or I will make the report. I also told him that he knows that he should have replaced the part with Trane parts not generic parts. You did not ask or tell me you were doing that. He then got angry and said go ahead and make the report. Your not getting anything. Hopefully the License board will take care of this. I bought a Trane AC and Trane parts need to be used. I would not ever use ServiceMaxx again. Not honest people and very un professional!!!! SERVICEMAXX reply he just made here is false!
I can’t remember the last time I was very happy or satisfied with the Service provider. I have had several service providers that disappointed me in the past, Today I have renewed faith in service with integrity, Thank you so much I appreciate your help.
I highly recommend this service. The heater was out all day. I made a call and they were here within an hour and repaired the problem. Will def use again.

I cannot say enough about this company! After buying a older house with the AC unit from you know where and the Home Warranty Company from you know where (Amazon Home Warranty), Jamal has been the most accommodating contractor I have dealt with in the past decade. Needless to say I had to go the route of a new system. So I replaced everything lock stock and barrel. With my requirements and energy efficiency for myself and not ERCOT he set me up with unbelievable setup, reworked my duct work that was previously install wrong. His crew is nothing but amazing. ServiceMaxx is a small local business, but a Jamal is an old school employer. Take care of your employees and they will take care of you. I highly encourage ServiceMaxx for any and all AC and Heating needs.
We needed our A/C serviced on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Jamal and Andreas were timely, courteous and thorough. Service call and parts were very reasonable. Absolutely will use them again- highly recommend.
