Grate Company to Work For
This is the kind of work u you.they failed to do the job right the first time and now have created damage to the decking in the attic poor communication I had to tell them that the new part that they installed was leaking and was not working if u want this call them they can help.. DONT WASTE UR TIME POOR SERVICE EVER I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER CALL A LOCAL AC COMPANY I USED THEM THINKING BIG COMPANY BETTER WORK LOL BOY WAS I WRONG
I would have to say that this is the worst mistake ever made using these people I had them installed a new unit unit went down in about 30 minutes after installation they told me that they have to wait for the warranty part to come in that took them over one month . I told him to swap it out with a new one because it was only in for 30 minutes and they refused and had to wait for warranty I would have to call every day in order to try to find out if the part was there or not I talked to a manager named Chris don’t waste your time talking to him it’s worthless. Do not waste your time using his company or wasting your money. Now I have to deal with them for the next five years for my warranty on my AC unit worst amistake I ever made to try and save $100. Do you have to pay for service from these people you do not get a Customer service for free.I should have read the reviews before huge mistake.Move on to another place
Let me help u choose..this place sucks i have techs lie and say that I canceled appointments because it was too late,who would cancel if they are hot not any sane person i know.I waited all day and then they want to reschedule this is worse company lie after lie and no one not even the manager can get control of the employees dont waste ur time.Poor communications,no respect guest,all lies and if u do use them beacuse ur dumb get a copy of receipt otherwise they don't put notes in the system so they can't remember if they ever been to ur house or notS.o I'm trying to help u dont bother u will regret it.
Eric Sr. and Eric Jr. are rockstars!!! They wowed my wife and I with a super fantastic customer experience. They also had an outstanding attitude and demeanor especially for working in the 100+ degree heat. We would highly recommend them and rate them 10/10!!!
Driver was riding my tailgate and then came around and cuts me off and flipped me off truck 339
They did replace the HVAC motor and never gave me a breakdown of those charges.. I reached out multiple times and it’s been more than 3 months and didn’t got response. Their hourly labor charge is on the higher side and technician took more time than needed. Only reason I took their service is they installed HVAC from the builder and the design is bad where a few of rooms stay colder/hotter than the other rooms. Don’t recommend based on my experience
I am trying to upgrade my thermostat to a Google Nest Smart Learning Thermostat and I need information on the initial wiring setup. 1. I called HOUK to get information on a black wire that is connected to the U1 terminal. 2. Receptionist picks up and would not provide any information on the black wire or U1 Terminal. She advised me to call Honeywell. I protested with her because Honeywell would not know and only the company that did the initial installation would know. She did not care; she provided the phone number for Honeywell Support and refused to ask a technician. 3. I called Honeywell, and they said, the U1 terminal and black wire could be anything, the only one who knows is the company that did the installation (HOUK) 4. I had to involve my builder at this point who directed my message to their supervisors and their dispatch technician. 5. Dispatch technician said the black wire is for the Fresh Air Damper but wasn’t 100% sure when I gave him a picture of the wiring. He said for him to identify what the black wire was for; it would cost $100 for a technician to come out to see where the black wire was going, and it would cost $200 to install the Google Thermostat. 6. I was disappointed and escalated to their supervisor. 7. Their supervisors reviewed and answered all of the questions, including informing me that the Fresh Air Damper would not work with the Google Nest unless an external controller was installed at the furnace. It took 2 days to get this information. They are getting 3 stars only because of their supervisor. If it wasn’t for him, they would get 1 star.
Had a very unpleasant experience with a customer service agent after the technician was a no-show with a scheduled service call. Once I spoke to someone else, the technician who showed up a few days later was professional and thorough.
I would rate higher than 5 star if it was available. They went over and beyond to find a Bluetooth thermostat that works in my hot room at YogaOne Kingwood. They have added sleep and time to my life which makes me a very happy business owner. I highly recommend for your business or home. Every person that I have encountered was so nice and on time! You better hope your builder doesn't mess up and saddle you to these guys. They're ABSOLUTELY AWFUL to deal with. They don't show up on time, came out to fix something and made it worse, and their customer service person Samantha is rude and incompassionate.
I never had such a bad experience in my entire life, like I did with the technicians from this company! This company is the WORST in the world honestly, if I could give -10 stars I would!!! Recently I contacted them for them to fix my AC and the person who answered me was very rude, he sounded drunk!!! So when they came to my house to fix my AC, the technician smelled like beer, and the worst part was that when he finish fixing my AC and left, I found two beer cans outside in my backyard!!!! I got really scared because then I was thinking what if he didn’t do the work right… And apparently he didn’t do the work right , my AC stopped working after a few hours the technician left!!! Worst service! Worst customer service!!! This company is awful!!!
This company is the absolute worst. They train little to none, but make very clear that technicians need to lie and not let homeowners know issues with their systems. Not only that but their technicians and all staff are extremely disrespectful. Randall which is the head of Houk at Houston locations knows very well that techs drink alcohol while on the job. For experience I had a technician come out not to long ago to change my coil upstairs, and the tech smelled strong to alcohol and slurred with his speech, as he left my house he dropped by accident a can of bud light on my driveway, I wish I had the picture to post, but I dont have it at the moment, John who is the service manager forgets his meetings and doesn't care about homeowners and their warranty.
Rude customer service and customer service that doesn't listen; not at all responsive. Used builder warranty service for a new home with HVAC system designed and installed by HOUK. One of the rooms in the home was significantly warmer than the entire home. Requested an air balancing to move air into the warm room. HOUK sent out a technician to measure the temperature (which I was told is standard practice). Technician determined air balancing was needed. Air balancing team was sent out and issue is still not resolved. At the time of the writing of this review, it has been over 3 business days since I was told by customer service that I would be contacted by HOUK. I'm yet to be contacted. It is now over two months since the first service request was made. There is yet to be a resolution. Overall waste of my time. Maybe this is an isolated incident, but if I had an option, I will not do business with HOUK.

I reached out to the company due to a balancing issue within my home and within 48 hours I had a technician at my door. Eric was the tech sent to my house arriving on time, maintained professionalism, and was eager to address any concerns. The technician permitted me to express my concerns and ensured me that the matter would be resolved. Upon completion of his inspection, the tech informed me of the issue and the method he would use to correct my unit. The fact he was detailed and took the time to inform me of the problem brought a sense of relief. It is always great to encounter individuals with such positive mindsets and love what they do. Great Customer Service.
Worst AC company that I have ever used. The techs need alot more education when it comes to AC and heating. I know more than they do! When a customer tells them the issue and they appear to be shocked, its time to go elsewhere for certified experienced techs! It took them over one year to fix an issue they caused. Its still not fixed/resolved. Mold and mildew. Condensation from improper installation in the attic on all counts.
I do not recommend this company at all, we have had issues with our ac and dehumidifier that were all installed by them. Our dehumidifier went out (the part was covered but we had to pay over $500 in labor) when they installed the new one they put in in backwards. We have called them out about 5 times due to a leak that is caused by our ductwork being installed incorrectly and 3 of those times they never showed up, they didn’t even call to say they weren’t coming. We have called many times and were told that someone would be in contact which never happened. Unless you have some form of warranty through them I’d probably use anyone else.
I have received extremely poor service from this company. For over 3wks I have been given the run around on scheduling a crew for AC service at my residence. When a service technician is dispatched he is I equipped to complete any service work which makes the visit pointless. When I call the local service center for escalated support I have often received the option to only leave messages and get the dreaded “someone will follow up with you..” line. No one ever follows up on the end of this business. Imagine being in Texas with 100 degree weather and your AC is not working properly to cool your house and your AC company drags their feet to provide you timely and efficient resolution. Very frustrating. If my AC was not under warranty with this company I would not use them. I will be sharing my experience with my HOA in hopes that my preferred builder drop their partnership with this AC company because they seem to not have a clue about how to manage the daily obligations/resolutions of AC customers.
They lack communication if you are waiting on parts and don't keep people updated. When I called them they kept mentioning the cost as if they were implying that I don't have the money to cover the cost!!! FYI I do, it's 2021 single women homeowners got money too!!!! I found someone else to install a whole new ac system. Not by Lennox but by Goodman!!! Which is a better system anyway!!!! If Houk, leave you in limbo like they did me do yourself a favor and find someone else. My new AC guy said that he called Lennox and they said that no one didn't even put a warranty claim on my AC parts that needed to be repaired. Find someone that don't play games and laugh at you when you call them back.
