Was told the quote is free, then when they called to confirm technician is coming to give a quote they told me it’s 120$. Unprofessional and utterly ridiculous.

I started doing business with them when they replaced my outside unit after hurricane Ike destroyed it with a tree. Over the years, they have serviced my AC as needed. GR is a great HVAC company!
Huge rip off. Called them to have two valves replaced for my AC unit and the technician simply installed insulation and added duct tape over the pipes and sent me a bill for $500. These people are a huge rip off buyer beware!

GR quoted a reasonable overall project cost, provided adequate manpower to get the job done on-time and provided a high quality installation. Subsequent to the installation completion date a quality control inspection was scheduled and performed to ensure the entire system was operating properly. If we could have rated Golden Rule 6 stars we would have. They replaced our AC units and we couldn't be more satisfied. With customer service sorely lacking today, you can reach a person on the phone who can take care of your needs. When you call, ask to speak to Jenn Clickner, she can guide you and set up what you need. Golden Rule is fortunate to have her. She will send out the technician you need. She sent out Victor Alvarez and he was professional and talented. Jenn and Victor are problem solvers. They get the job done. We will always be big fans of Golden Rule
I don’t know how they are doing good yet . I did call the front desk get email to email then a plans to do the job one and haft month no one email back and call back . When I called to follow up the front desk so mean . She don’t want take more jobs. Nothing to hurt me only feel bad for the owner pay them but they don’t the right job. Please take consideration before call this company to do the job.

I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with the care and service that I received from Golden Rule. From calling into the front desk, being transferred and taken care of by Jennipher and Victor repairing our problem, our family was treated with respect, professionalism, and the utmost care. This company isn't just about the bottom dollar, I felt treated like family....also special shoutout to Victor for calling and telling me my dog was waiting at my front door!

Marlo is an extremely professional and knowledgeable AC technician. Straight up explained everything. No aggressive up sell which was a relief. I have had experiences in the past where the main goal was to sell you a system you really didn't need. I would have him back anytime!
Golden rule was perfect for what I needed done. They installed two nest thermostats as well as added ducts to a room that needed more air. Great communication and quality work.
We've been using Gold Rule for several years in 2 different homes in Houston. First to diagnose, repair and replace the AC coil in our attic. Since then we've had them come out twice per year for general maintenance and check ups. They ensured everything was up to par when selling our home before inspection, and did a general maintenance on our new home and found a gas leak. They are very quick to schedule appointments and solve any issues. Pricing is fair. We've had Marlow as our technician all these years, we love the service he provides.
