Stephen was really helpful in installing the variable speed outside condenser unit. Aussie and Alex and great technicians who helped me out with smooth installation. The pricing is very reasonable and they understand customer needs and always ready to help.
Needed an A/C repair over the weekend, and Gilbert's answered the call quickly and were at my house within an hour. Repaired our problem in a single visit and did everything to ensure we were happy with the service.

I was in a bind and Gilbert’s AC came through like true pros. This is a great bunch of professional, knowledgeable and really friendly folks that I would highly recommend. At the end of the day I went with a different provider because we’d worked together for 20 years. I worked directly with Lee in finding the best A/C solution for my home. Throughout the process, he was very thorough, professional, and responsive. I believe he went above and beyond the service of what most A/C technicians provide and I would highly recommend working with him.
We are so thankful for Lee at Gilbert's Air. In the middle of summer, of course, our A/C Unit went out! We called Lee and discussed the issue we were having, we didn't know what the problem was, but Lee was quick on the uptake. After explaining how Air conditioning units work, it was clear that Lee understood building sciences. He broke down the issue we were having in an easy-to-understand way, and we learned how to better maintain our unit in the future. Turnaround time was quick, and we could move back in comfortably. Call Lee with Gilberts; We are glad we did!
I purchased a new air conditioner and heating unit from Gilbert's Air Specialist. From start to finish they were professional, communicated well with me, and answered all my questions. They offered no hard sell, but worked with me to get the product that best met my needs and designed the system to correct a problem I was having with my old HVAC system. Special commendation to Lee, who explained every part of the process and ensured the installers followed the design plan. I am very pleased with their service, and I highly recommend this company.

Great service, they were able to schedule my appointment quickly. Dropped off my equipment the day before. Installers were there first thing in the morning. They put down tarps so they wouldn't track in any dirt. Great to make sure they left everything as it was when they showed up. Sales rep was great as well. Gave me several options based on what I wanted for my system.
Stephen was very knowledgeable about heat pumps and AC systems and talked us through several options. We chose to replace our two 13 year old ACs with continuously variable Amana heat pumps (and gas furnace auxiliary heat). The installations were scheduled quickly on a day that was convenient for us, they took place on time, and everything went smoothly. The programmable Honeywell T10 thermostat is excellent, though some people might prefer Nest; with the Amana system you can use whatever thermostat you want. We placed the remote sensors in the places that matter (bedroom) rather than where the thermostat wires had been installed (hallway). I can access the thermostats or reprogram them from anywhere over the internet. We are very happy with the units - they are quiet and efficient, and I can carry on a conversation next to the outdoor unit when it is running. We are especially happy with heat pump heating, which is much quieter inside and steadier than our old (or new) gas furnace. For normal Houston winter, a heat pump is much quieter and cheaper than heating with gas. During the freeze of Dec 2022, we had no problem staying warm; the system knows when to use the auxiliary gas furnace rather than the heat pump. We recommend heat pumps, and we definitely recommend the Gilbert team!
Gilbert’s is very responsive and did an excellent job diagnosing the issue and fixing the problem. I would definitely recommend and use them again. They were very professional, on time and had the expertise needed.
I definitely recommend Gilbert Ac Specialist to anyone that needs service. Very professionals, friendly, polite, answer all the questions. Took their extra time to do the job right instead of cutting corners to save time and be done with it quickly. At first I was dealing with Mr.Lee when ordering the whole system. He was very professional, polite, responsive when I called him about any question even at late evening. He was here to help me anyway he could. Mr. Lee and his team came the text day to install the whole new system, came and did it. All of their crew were excellent. Around 5 pm they left and told me that Mr. Ozzie will come back the next day. Mr.Ozzie came back the next morning to install the zoning board and recheck everything to be sure that everything is working fine. Mr. Ozzie service was very exceptionally well, knows what he was doing, very polite, knowledgeable. answer every question I had for him. Thank you all for such a great service. Once again I would definitely recommend you guys to anyone that needs service.
My dad’s A/C unit went out in the heat of the summer. I contacted Gilbert’s Air Specialist and even though all technicians were quite a distance away, one was able to visit my dad within the day! He took time to explain the issue to my dad, and quoted him a fair price. Given that my dad is retired and on a fixed income, I really appreciated the reasonable pricing. I’ll definitely use this company again
Nathan our service tech was down to earth. No pressure tactics. He did a great job for the challenge we gave him. They got the parts resourced to me and got me back up running in less than a half day. I will use them again that is for sure! They also worked up an estimate for a new system. Flexible pricing.
We really appreciated how fast they were able to finish the work that needed to be done. Jorge and his crew did a great job! We were able to have a good nights rest!
Gilbert's AC was highly recommended so we gave them a call. Talked to Lee and gave him our info, within a couple hours he had Jack at our house to evaluate our system and give us a price on a new system. Jack was very informative and professional and took great care of our needs, thanks to Jack we now have features that we never had before on our new AC system. Special mention to lead tech Elvis and his crew of four for a great job. We feel that we made a excellent choice and highly recommend Gilbert's AC.
