Ronnie is very professional & gave us guidance on how to correctly maintain our HVAC system
Chris did a great job, he was there for maintenance only. however when the motor needed to be replaced he completed the replacement in time for my grand children to get home to a cool home!
I called at 7:30 this morning when my AC stopped working last night. Chris was here at 9:30 this morning and by 10:00 my system was working and my house was cooling off.
Craig was the ultimate professional gentleman, patient and kind. He worked efficiently and effectively while explaining everything along the way! I was very comfortable with his manner and knowledge of the situation. I now have a heating & air guy I can trust!
Package Unit on my folk’s townhouse finally gave out in this brutal heat. Chris came out, diagnosed the issue and DL will provide multiple options to either repair or replace. Always pleased with the level of service we receive from DL and have recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors with excellent reports back!

I’m a new customer. My ac guy retired 4 years ago and my central air unit hadn’t been checked since. A friend recommended I call this company to schedule a check up. They scheduled me for the next day and sent a picture and short bio of the man coming to service my ac. He came within the scheduled window and called before he came. He could have easily “found” something that needed to be fixed after all that time, but he didn’t. He gave my unit a clean bill of health. It’s hard to find honest, dependable service people. I’m very satisfied.
Your HVAC Technician Craig is a terrific person who I would recommend for any job. He has at least two characteristics that matter a great deal. First, he is highly knowledgeable and second probably as important as the first he has the heart of a service person meaning he shows genuine concern and willingness to go the extra mile. I'm very grateful. Of course to do the job well takes more than one person and the lady in the office coordinating everything, Sabrina has a voice like an angel and went out of her way to be thoughtful and kind. It is hard to do all these things well without a staff that actually cares about their customers. I'd recommend David Lane Hi-Tech to anyone who wants a job done really well and appreciates being treated like they matter.

Our house was built in 84 and when we moved in 5 years ago, it came with AC problems. We’ve only ever used Dave Lane. They always come out quickly when we call with an issue. The last issue, DL advocated for us with the manufacturer to get them to fulfill the warranty on our unit when they were trying to dodge it. They got it settled for us, replaced our unit, and in the time that we were without AC, they loaned us a portable ac so we could stay cool.
I have been using Dave Lane for 25 years. They do great work, are reasonably priced and I trust them. I recommend them for your AC needs.
Chris, the technician that serviced my system, was great. The front office was super helpful both in getting someone out to me quickly and in helping me understand the charges. The charges themselves, however left a slightly bad taste as, in addition to the $99 trip charge (which covers the diagnostic service), there was another $125 charge for the swapping of a capacitor (not including the part cost which was under warranty). This charge was explained as including overhead charges, warranty processing, and administrative items such as these. If that's the case and warranty processing fees cost more than the parts themselves then what's the point of warranty service? As for overhead items, that's why the trip charge used to be implemented (example, we came and diagnosed but you refused work or no work was required...we are charging the trip charge, but if you authorized work then the first ~hour is included). All told, the 15 minute swap and 15 minute diagnostic visit ran me $224. Next time, if it's the capacitor again, I will buy and swap one myself and save ~$100.
I have used Dave Lanes Hi-Tech Mechanical for my HVAC needs for years. Recently, I Called them concerning an A/C problem I was having. The phone was answered quickly and in a very friendly and professional manner. The assistant noted the problems I was experiencing with my system and contacted one of their technicians who promptly returned my call to provide advice on a solution. An appointment was scheduled and equipment was installed to address my issue. I would definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs

They show on the time frame they was very professional, did they work in less than two hours, explain every detail, he give me the estimate for what they recommend for my AC work it’s the best. Great service. It is a hot humid Sunday today and we were not looking forward to being without A/C for any length of time, let alone potentially days. We had a technician (Tyler) able to take care of the problem within a few hours. Really happy!
