Bodensteiner does a great job. They are knowledgeable and very responsive. I always have a ton of questions, and they always patiently teach me. I used to have them at 5 stars but I am removing a star today because I was let down by a $90 service charge for a less than 10 minute visit (and they are located 1 mile from my house, so they didn’t have to travel far). I recently got a new AC installed into my attic a couple of weeks ago, which comes with a 1 year labor warranty. I started to hear a strange beeping noise from my attic, so I called them to come back thinking that it was HVAC related. They looked and said that the noise wasn’t coming from the HVAC unit, and then charged me $90 bucks. I emailed them saying that I was disappointed with such a high charge for a short visit/loyal customer and they didn’t even apologize, which was disappointing.
There is just no one better than the Bodensteiner AC company. They are responsive and so good at their jobs!

This was my 3rd company I went to for my AC issues after the first 2 major AC repair companies gave me horrendous service & were outright criminal with their estimates on an issue that was not major and an easy fix that Bodensteiner had done in 20 minutes. I was being told to pay upwards of $5000 and one company even told me I needed my whole ceiling gutted out! Bodensteiner had it fixed in a day and I confirmed that I was basically just paying for the part I needed replaced. I’m convinced now this is the only place you can find ACTUALLY HONEST workers in the heights area! They are life saviors for sure.
Was able to get same day service for a sudden AC breakdown at my home. The visit fee was reasonable and was well explained. Turns out that today was an easy repair which the technician explained to me. Took about 5 minutes to unclog the line of algae and debris. The tech cleaned up the sink where the line was clogged and left things better then when he started. Grateful for a quick fix and a trustworthy, timely, organized service provider. Will call and use in the future and have already sent some friends their number.
They were responsive and had good communication. Came out and thoroughly explained the different system options. Installation went smoothly. Great value and product.
Can't say enough good things about this company. Family owned business that cares about its clients. Also doesn't try to upsell you on products. Knowledgeable, honest techs. You won't regret calling them.
The only company I trust. In a world full of con men it’s nice to know I can trust Bodensteiner to repair my problem. Ask for Hank. You won’t regret it.
During the last cold front, The exhaust fan on our gas furnace stopped working. Lenox did not have a replacement in stock. The BS I tech called all A/C supply businesses in Houston until he found one, drove over and picked the part up and returned the same afternoon and made the repairs. I couldn’t be happier about the service.
I have used Bodensteiner for the last 3 years. Highly recommend them! Responsive and professional. Routine maintenance and emergency services. Left a message at 5 PM last night, got a text at 8 this morning scheduling my service and they were here at 9:15. Use them!
I can not say enough good things about Blair and Jessica! See I know the owner’s names because it is truly a family owned business. We purchased an old home and had many renovations to do. The AC part has been probably our least amount of headache. Not to mention when we had an issue with one of our units that’s much older they were at our house within 20 minutes of our phone call. They always find a spot for us and because we have little ones, it’s such a relief. Being without AC in these temps is scary! They are the most pleasant people to interact with. They are honest and in my experience have been the least expensive by far! They don’t take advantage of the price based on where you live!

Wanted to leave my honest review. Contacted them last week to get an estimate for a new hvac system. He came by on Friday and I have yet to receive an estimate from them. I’ve also reached out to them via email the following day and never received it. Guess they didn’t want my money. Ended up getting another company to do the work. Only reason for the two stars is that I have used them for a repair previously and they seemed to be a pretty good company to work with at that time.

HVAC System went down and was running all night trying to cool house down. Contacted BSI and Jessica was able to send Blain over the same day to check out the problem. Within 30 minutes the system was fixed and seasonal checks completed. This is a Family Owned business that I would recommend 100%.
Technician was on time and very thorough. My issue was fixed quickly and the heat is working great now (thank goodness!)
Bodensteiner Services is an amazing HVAC company. I highly recommend them. I needed TWO systems installed and they came out promptly, made their recommendations and provided quick and reasonable estimates. Scheduled the work quickly and boom. Two new AC systems. They are responsive, helpful, good people. I would go with Bodensteiner over anyone in Houston.
We have two AC units (a larger unit for downstairs, and a smaller unit upstairs). The smaller AC unit stopped sending cool air and the temperature on the second floor rose up to 95 degree. I had a home warranty insurance, and I thought that they should be able to fix the problem. The warranty company sent me a service provider. This guy told me that I had not maintained my system regularly, and the insurance would not pay for any repairs. The maintenance cannot be paid by the warranty insurance, and will be out of my own pocket. He quoted me >$1000 for the maintenance. I declined his service and stopped my home warranty insurance right away. Then I called Bodensteiner Services on Saturday and left a message requesting services. Jessica texted me early morning on Monday to let me know that the help will come in the afternoon. Blair came early afternoon and checked the A/C unit to find the problem with the capacitor. He replaced the part and refilled the refrigerant in less than an hour. The system ran normally since then. He gave me a one year warranty for this service, and charged me reasonably. Bodensteiner Services replaced my other unit last year, and did a clean and good job with a reasonable price. I have used their services three times since last year, and are always happy with their professionalism. I highly recommend this company.
