A shout out to Ben; who was at our house early on a hot Sunday morning during the July 4th holiday weekend. Badda bing badda boom. AC is humming and we're cool as a cucumber. Thanks Alpine Air. You rock. SAS.

Had a vent not sealed and was causing condensation. Alpine came and fixed it within a day of me calling and the tech was very professional. Will definitely continue recommending them to my neighbors and friends.

We have used Alpine for years. They installed the a/c system in the new built home and warrantees it. Our last service was to replace another coil (number 3 so far in 13 years) but they didn’t have the right size pan so we had to wait a week for that to be put in.

Alpine is always on time and their rates are resonable. I've been using them for 20 years with no complaints.

Alpine Air overcharges customers and sends out invoices for work that needs to be part of the initial job which they do poorly. I would never use them again.

This company installed the AC and furnace in my new home in 2020 (closed in Oct). When I turned the AC on for the first time in March 2021, the compressor was not working. A technician came out to “fix” the compressor and it still didn’t work. They were finally able to fix it, but the unit still made loud noises - to the point my neighbor came by to ask if everything is ok. Since then it’s been a BATTLE with this company. The staff and management are rude. They are incompetent. They will schedule appointments, only to cancel without notification. I truly do not understand how they are still in business. If you’ve had a bad experience with this company report them to the better business bureau.

I purchased 2 new Lennox systems from Alpine in 2015, 2.5 years ago. One of them just failed. Watch this space to find out how they handle this. I started them out with 5 stars and knocked one off because they did not send a promised tech out to me today. UPDATE: Alpine sold me two Lennox systems, despite known issues at the time with Lennox coil failures. The Lennox coils offered a 10 year Warranty so I didn't really dig into any issues, that warranty gave me FALSE confidence! Great. I have a warranty. It still costs $900 bucks to replace a coil and the labor is not covered. If I am replacing the coil every 2.5 years, Its still a TERRIBLE IDEA TO BY A LENNOX AC UNIT. PLEASE AVOID LENNOX. ALSO AVOID HIGH EFFICIENCY, where it means the coil material is thinner. One way the AC makers have increased efficiency is to thin the coil tubing walls, which makes them fail du to corrosion much faster. Congrats, earth! We saved 1% energy and used 100 times that building and installing a whole new part! UPDATE: Lennox coil failure rate has not improved, and now Alpine charges $1200 to change them.

Worst experience ever! I called them because my home warranty service included their number. The first technician who came said they issue was with the capacitor and he replaced it. When I mentioned the ac is still not working he said it would take couple of hours and call him back the next day. When I called again he wasn’t available and another technician showed up and he said the dampers are not working and he said he replaced it. As soon as he left, ac unit started making loud noises and when I called back, they said it was my fault that I requested a different technician and hung up the phone. I called another company and they identified ac coil was leaking and they also found out that the damper was never fixed. DO NOT call this company if you have any other choices!!!

I had a service contract with another company, when my evaporator coil started leaking that company quoted me a 5 month lead time for the part (pandemic supply chains). My father-in-law recommended Alpine, he's used them for 20+ years. Called them up and they sent a tech the next day who confirmed the part was in stock and they quoted me half the price.

I will never use Alpine again!! Two different people told me two different prices for the same repair. Took them over a month to complete the repair and it was not due to unavailable parts. The part was installed but they did something incorrect on the first install and it took them 4 weeks to correct their mistake. Office staff very rude and not helpful at all. We still have not been give any information on the final repair. The last time they showed up they were in the attic for about 15 mins and left without speaking with anyone. Horrible service!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very rude workers and poor customer service. Call a real AC company.

Some good reviews but here is our experience. Bought a new build home in 2018 and the inspector found a low differential across the upstairs unit. Alpine air came in to check under warranty and recharged the unit Aug of 2018. Fast forward to June of 2021 we are getting ready to sell the home and buyers inspector finds the same problem again. Contacted Alpine Air and they were unwilling to check the job they did 2.5 years ago since warranty expired 6 months ago (not asking for free work, but just to check they fixed the problem 2.5 years ago). If you need someone to do a quick job Alpine Air would work. If you want someone who doesn't bandaid a job or will work with you down the road I recommend looking else where. Follow up - John Moore was willing to come out same day at no charge to check the system Alpine Air had worked on 2.5 years prior and "fixed".

My A/C went out on a Saturday in late April. After my normal A/C technician told me he couldn't be out until Tuesday, I called Alpine Air at 1:43 PM. Within the hour, we had cold air in the house again. The technician, Juan, was at our house for about 15 minutes, and most of that time was spent walking from his truck to the condenser unit. He spotted the problem immediately and changed out our capacitor, and was on his way. Great, fast service and a positive attitude. No attempt at an upsell, and no BS. I wouldn't hesitate to call Alpine Air again.

I am an engineer in Clear Lake. My parents used Alpine during their retirement (20 years) and I now use Alpine. Totally competent, honest, fair priced with fast service. Work is high quality. Will discuss repair options versus replacement. James is the best! Those answering the phones at the office will talk to you, call back, and make you feel at ease.

I would never recommend this company for AC installation or service. I purchased a brand new Comfort Maker AC package unit from Alpine Air in July 2018 that began having ac problems in June of 2020. I was informed Alpine offered a 2 year parts and labor warranty on new installs and the service would be covered. After servicing the unit, one of Alpine's senior technicians blamed the faulty blower-moter, wiring and Freon freeze up myself and my tenants . Also they never fixed a bad heater board relay in July of 2020 under their 2 year parts and labor warranty and have repeatedly sent me a $300 bill for the warranty service provided for my AC/Heat which was never entirely fixed. I just spend another $500 to fix the faulty heater board that was never fixed in July (which was covered under parts and warranty) and the additional expense of hotel lodging for my tenants while the part was ordered and repaired. I continue to receive a $300 bill from Alpine, simply terrible/ unconscionable service,. Seriously beware of this company, zero customer service after they get your money for a new ac install and blaming the customer for faulting wiring and mechanical failure after install.

I had called a big outfit in Houston. After a 3 visits and a misdiagnosis, I still had a dripping exterior HVAC drainage pipe(cost me $1100). Alpine air sent out their technician, Ben Rivera. He was courteous, professional, correctly diagnosed my problem, and fixed it for $127. I strongly recommend Alpine Air for tour HVAC needs. They need to take care of Ben Rivera like they took care of me.
